the phillip island centipede is a huge centipede that lives on the uninhabited norfolk islands. it's infamous for being one a few centipede species known to feed on vertebrates including birds.

the giant emerald pill millipede lives in madagascar and is the largest known pill millipede. although sharing many characteristics, pill millipedes and woodlice do not bear any close relation.
