A brief outline of some of my current “active” oc’s and where they’re from-

*Whit and Benji are a darling little couple of mine, who are currently part of my longest consecutive piece of original fiction that’s been written in several years. The general premise is that we get to follow along while Whit figures out his feelings for Benji, with a healthy dose of humor involved, and tries to get his life going on the right track. Whit is, unfortunately, really bad at making decisions. But then we have a bit of plot coming in, due to the long running LARPing game that the teenagers in this town have had going for years. Whit and Benji come across a “boneyard” which doubles as the town’s local junkyard. There, Whit finds a piece of broken mirror, through which you can seemingly see the world from their LARPing games in real-time. As the two worlds become closer to colliding, Whit has to face the reality that he’s been avoiding.

*Mikhael is one of many demons meant to make deals with humans. When summoned, he will do one Task for the humans, and in return, he gets their souls. On Halloween night, a bunch of friends get together for one last hoorah. After way too much to drink, they end up summoning a demon, Mikhael, using a butchered text found online. Unfortunately, they don’t realize that they only have the first half of the text – because they can’t finish the ritual, Mikhael finds himself in the human world, unable to go back to Hell and unable to gather anymore souls. Did I mention that Mikhael doesn’t wear clothing? Because he doesn’t. So, the general premise is that he becomes attached to a human named Evan and, after Evan makes another demon Very Angry, Mikhael sort of??? Gets himself put on Hell’s Most Wanted List for killing one of his own kind.

*Bastian and Kenny are one of my more controversial couples. The story takes place in the Pine Barrens, out in New Jersey. Kenny and a bunch of other unimportant people are out doing a tour through the forest, when they’re attacked by someone. Without spending eighteen hundred hours discussing this storyline, the basic idea is that Bastian is one of the many cryptids that live in the forest; up until this point, he’s never been around humans long enough to develop any sort of attention. He’s a vicious, sarcastic, Jersey cryptid that lures humans into his portion of the forest, hunts them, and eats them. But, when something in the Barrens decides that Kenny is special (he’s a half cryptid, I think, maybe, probably), and that no matter how many times he’s killed, he comes back to life, Bastian finds himself with consistent human contact for the first in his very, very long life. It’s a twisted premise of Beauty and the Beast, where the relationship is very problematic and not particularly healthy, as Bastian learns how humanity works and tries to figure out what it actually means to care for someone other than himself.

*Scout, Mia, Ellie, and Jason are all witches in Boston. They form a vigilante group called the New Bostonian’s, and take over protecting the city because they feel like the old group, the Boston Five, have become disillusioned and no longer put in a good effort. This is true; the old group have come to decide that they no longer see a point in saving the city, choosing to not recognize that the world is no longer theirs to live in. Hale is also a member of the New Bostonian’s but they were created by a friend of mine, so I don’t have full creative abilities!

*Lily is a human fire mage, with a half-orc girlfriend. This one doesn’t have a very defined plot, except that the two are out on a quest together to try and save the half-orc’s kingdom and also there’s a petrified forest somewhere?

Some of my less active but still beloved OC’s -

*Jesse is a tall, gawky boy that’s just moved into a new town. He has schizophrenia and really bad anxiety, and the slice-of-life story mostly just follows him as he makes some new friends, develops his first crush, and tries to figure life out.

*Agaric and Luke are two of my supernatural babies. Agaric is an autumn faerie – not to be confused with a fairy, mind you – and his best friend, Luke, is a werewolf that changes into a Doberman.

*Hope is a Korean-American girl trying to live her life in the 90s and also happens to solve mysteries and save lost monsters. They don’t mean to disrupt life in the human world. They are just very, very scared and very, very lost. She lives in an apartment building that just so happens to be a gateway to the monster world, and is friends with an up-and-coming journalist wannabe named James. They meet a kid named Eric who likes to feed stray cats and also stray monsters, and he teaches them how to help get them home.

*Fen and Delta are my lesbian mermaidssss who might end up being my nano project maybe???

*Erin is my dissociative baby I’ve never been able to find any story for
