This is the first design on the blog that I will say that I really dislike. I don’t hate but it’s not loveable to me. Earlier posts I was comparing v2 and v3 to old boxy computers and apples new iPhone products, NOW THIS is like the newest iPhones that keep being released in what feels like every 2-3 months. All slick and smooth, cool looking. It even gives off the vibe. This part that I’m going to describe is PURE NIT-PICK and is my biased opinion. Please don’t let it affect the way your view the design. I have a negative stigma towards newer apple products especially of the 2020s because of the people who flaunt their wealth by having the latest products. It’s definitely not the fault of the companies but it’s ticks me off from the products.

Now I’m going to go into detail about the actual design which is going to be mostly negative. Now then, THEY TOOK AWAY MIKUS SLEEVES! I’m saying “they” because I don’t know who made that design. The character designers don’t always have full control of over the design and in the end they are illustrating someone else’s idea. I don’t want to accuse Ixima of this design choice and ultimately it does not matter at all. This is a anime styled box art of a digital girl for a artificial singer program. I’m just upset :( . Also the sleeves and stockings kind of look like stretched out balloons. I do like the plastic-y feel to them. If I made them in my hands I feel like if I rubbed the clothes it make the sound of a window being cleaned.

All I do not get the little things that are coming out of Miku’s shirt…

What is this and why is there? What purpose does it have? That question doesn’t always matter in the case of when something just looks good but it doesn’t look good! It bothers me.

Now I have to comment on the skirt. I’ve never said anything about the skirts in all of the main designs of Miku. I’m going to say it now that I don’t like the details on them. Especially on here because of how noticeable they are. I think I’m nitpicking though. It’s seems almost unreal (note: This is a digital 16 year old singer with mint hair and mint eyes and has almost impossible technology stuck on all of her clothes). It’s just unbelievable that the tech and buttons are sticking on her skirt. But whatever. I could be unreasonable.

Now for my last comments, they will be positive. I LOVE HER HEELS!,,,,,,!!!,!!! THEYRE HIGH HEELSS!,!!” A first in main series designs. That’s it about them I just think they’re cute. Also I like the changed of a grey shirt to white. V3 actually did this first but it’s hard to see but now it’s more clearer. I prefer it over the old grey of the original official design of miku. I’m not sure how I would feel if it was ALWAYS white though.

Feel free to reply with your opinions, I want this to be an open discussion especially because of how harsh I was on this design. I want to hear about how people love this design. Something different from my own views. And again, please don’t let my opinions affect your views including my other posts. I just want to showcase these designs and maybe comment one the things i notice and like and dislike. Don’t pressure yourself to hate this design because of some random Internet person says they don’t like it. Do not let my commentary sway you!
