I went to a thrift store today and for 20 bucks I got a box of Topps 1992 stadium club hockey cards. They may have been sealed packs but I just had to know what cards I had (I’m sure collectors are mad at me already but I wasn’t going to sell them anyway because I don’t have any cards that are that old in my collection as most of my cards are newer series ones).
Among the ones I got some notable ones were a Mark Messier Rangers card, Patrick Roy Canadeiens card, Sergei Fedorov Red Wings card, Claude Lemieux Devils card, Mario Lemieux Penguins card, two cards of Gretzky when he was on the Kings, Keith Tkachuk when he was on the Jets, and some Nordique cards, North Stars, and Whalers. I got cards of every single team (there were 24 at the time).
I am only missing six cards in the entire set.

The newest addition to my card collection has arrived!!! It was a fair bit more than I will usually spend on a card, but the desire to have baby Jesper to go along with my other Jesper cards was just too tempting (and I was stressed out about the health of my elderly cat and needed to buy myself a treat to feel better)

I wore my Team USA/Herb Brooks hoodie to work today and one of the guys had to nerve to say "I bet you don't even know who Herb Brooks was".
Sir, my father grew up next door to Brooks (and hated him). I am a Minnesotan hockey fan. I have seen the movie "Miracle". Trying to tell me I know nothing about Brooks. 😡
SO NATURALLY I may have gone into a bit of "I know more than you" mode and listed off half his accomplishments/coaching stops.

idk if anyone else played on howrse.com as a kid but when i see a hockey player with high stat numbers it reminds me of seeing a horse with high skills on howrse and it creates the same level of ‘haha i want that’ in my brain

Can you get those cards in Europe?
Hi! As of right now, the cards that have been circulating for the PWHL are the Tim Hortons Duos (sold in Canada primarily but also in some USA locations) and fan made cards. There are players who have been featured in Team Canada and Team USA packs (Upper Deck) from previous years (as well as Euro teams).
To get the cards outside of North America, eBay is your best bet, or asking on Reddit if there are any resellers closer to you. I would recommend buying singles over buying sealed packs, as an unfortunate reality is that some re-sellers weigh their packs before posting them to ensure they do not include the higher value lenticular cards (which weigh more and therefore they can guess which packs contain them).
I hope this answered your question! Followers, if I missed something or you have more info, please add on to help out Anon!
In the future, Upper Deck will be printing more physical cards, but I don’t yet have any idea what that will look like or what the distribution will be.
