hello! i suppose i should do an intro post. my name is alistair, but you can also call me grian! here are my pronouns and stuff :] i have a lot of interests but at the moment ill post the most about hermitcraft (and 3l/ll/dl, empires, etc), omori, and whatever else im interested in.

i am part of the otherkin community! i will post about my kintypes on here occasionally because i dont have the energy to run a blog specifically for 'kin stuff.

im also part of a fictive-heavy endogenic system, and support all types of systems. we'll tag with whos fronting if its not me. might do an intro post for our alters at some point but idk

Over-Tired OM Boys HCs

Here's the initial thing that got me started thinkin bout the boys, but here ya go-

Lucifer

- this man, once he hits overtired, is extremely gullible, which is why he locks himself in his office until hes done what needs to be done

- also cannot keep a train of thought for more than 20 seconds and it drives him nuts

- and then he loses his focus even more because he's upset

- you tried knocking on the door once, and told him when you closed your eyes, you couldnt see and needed to go to the doctor

- man went from frustrated to concerned in a heartbeat, only after opening the door realizing how foolish he had just come across

- but now the door was open and you had access to him, and reluctantly he let you drag him to bed

- Will deny it ever happened, and if you bring it up, expect a punishment.

- Though he is grateful you made him rest so he would not become the laughingstock of his brothers

Mammon

- over tired bby will ramble until he forgot what he was talking about and space out for a solid ten seconds before snapping back

- it doesnt matter if you're listening intently or only half listening, he makes no sense what so ever.

- If you can record him without him noticing you (which is easy to do in this state) and play it back once he's rested he's either facepalming and blushy for the nonsense he spewed or he managed to pick out what he may have been trying to say and gets super excited, going off on another more understandable tangent.

- Gaming is a priority

Levi

- Sleeping is not

- Levi usually ends up just tired, not wired but dear lord when he does-

- All that energy and passion he pours into the way he speaks about anime and manga?

- Its physical now...oh and hes slightly more extroverted

- Though its a rare sight, over tired Levi works out and rambles about whatever it was that made him stay up that long, and hes doing it all in your room

Satan

- Over tired Satan is a rare sight, though it happens often, as he holes up in his room

- He gets an impulse to clean, and will tidy and clean and organize his books, though it never lasts

- and theres no escape, he will start crying if he feels you arent paying attention or if you're about to leave

- Depending on who you are, he either becomes 10000000% testier, or hes a giggly mess, there is no in between

Asmo

- Finds everything funny, but will get pouty if it came from someone he doesnt really like

- Over tired Asmo is rare, likely the rarest of all the boys to see, save for Barbatos

- but he is a chaotic little fucker

- dear god

- He will raid the fridge and pantry worse than Beel, specifically when hes on a diet-

- Then MC you're either in for one hell of a story from Asmo, most of them his not-so-proud drunk moments that he never talks about for that reason but he cant stop himself-

-his laugh sounds even more high pitched than normal, and a little maniacal, and he finds everything he says hilarious

- you will go on an adventure probably

Beel

- spaces out randomly, and also cries easily, dont point this put to him and say yes to his adventures, he'll change his mind a thousand times on the way- just go with it

- overtired Beel happens quite a bit, usually after the victory of a game and the adrenaline starts to wear off- and then he still has stuff to do

- but instead of "oh" and maybe a small laugh when he realizes what happened its more ".....oh" and then he looks like he's having an existential crisis

- you will have to physically lead him to bed after that, he's too busy thinking and slowly eating whatever is in his hand

- he snacks to keep himself awake, and poor himbo man is even more gullible than usual

- will want to cuddle, but wont ask when hes like this

Belphie

- out like a bulb immediately

- The Avatar of Sloth? Over tired? yes it happens unfortunately-

- He gets even grumpier than usual because he can’t sleep

- Then at night its just restless tossing and turning

- yes even the seemingly flawless butler gets overtired, but opposite of Asmo, he is far better at concealing it

- Usually happens when he intentionally sleeps through important meetings and days for Lucifer back to back to back

- It’s another excuse to hold you though, so he might make himself over tired more often

Barbatos

- You will see him stifle yawns

- And when given instructions, his eyes widen slightly with concentration as he whispers the instructions over and over under his breath so nobody can hear, but its clear his lips are moving

- he cannot be bribed

- he can be intimidated though, and how you ask?

- “threaten” to go tell Beel or Dia because you know full well if they were asked, they would carry Barb back to his quarters if you can’t do so on your own-

- no he will not sleep

- Usually that’s enough to convince him, but you have to stay near to make sure he doesn’t leave until he’s well-rested, otherwise he’ll leave as soon as possible and try to get back to work

- buuuut if you’re “on guard” or in bed with him- well he might have a few extra minutes or hours to spend with you

Diavolo

- overtired Diavolo is rather rare, as Barbatos is very strict with the prince's schedule

- Still though if Diavolo truly wants to keep going...all Barb can do is prepare for the future

- Which uh...just means being able to drag the prince to his quarters

- If you thought he was lively before, being overtired is kinda like giving caffiene to a squirrel for him

- Until he suddenly crashes....which, depending on how you like his company, can be unfortunate as his kick can last for hours

Simeon

- Simeon goes into zombie mode when he's overtired

- He hates to admit it, but it tales every oumce of strength to not fall asleep in the middle of classes

- Not that Luke would let him

- He's a little dazy, a little slow, but even just a power nap gets the angel going again

Luke

- Babie boy, don't stay up with the big kids-

- an overtired ten year old follows a certain progression

- grumpy, denial in need of sleep, chatterbox, chatterbox, chatterbox, chatt- oh he fell asleep in the middle of his sentence

- will not acknowledge anything in the morning, even as he walks out of his bedroom instead of the random place he slept, instead carrying on the conversation he left half finished the night before

Solomon

- hah

- he has spells

- who needs sleep?

- bastard also pushes himself too far, but disguises it with more ease than anyone else, at least until its just the two of you

- He tends to run his hand through his hair more often, fidgets more

- hes a little jumpy too, so continue with caution if you dont want to be turned into a frog-

Anyways, I know its been a hot minute since I posted anything really uh...substantial? I guess this will have to do?? I'm going to be travelling for a bit, so I apologize for slow updates, also dont have the patience to make a queue

JuJutsu Kaisen school headcanons

“some jjk school headcanons? not with a reader or anything but just how itadori and the other first years are in school?”-anon

This was pretty fun! Each character is pretty short but it still turned out longer than it needed to be oops.

So we all know that theres a proper private school to teach upcoming shamans. Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College...thats a long ass name no wonder i didn’t remember it. But in the manga and anime, they dont exactly go into details of what they do for the school(i might be completely wrong just lemme know)

In the yuuta 4 chapter story, we kinda get a glimpse

Gojo is one of the few teachers and he teaches first years in a small classroom. i dont know what exactly he teaches but sometimes they go outside to train and well when yuuta and the others were training i forget if he was actually teaching anything. Like he gave him a sword to help with his powers and gave a brief explanation but thats about it.

Anyways.

Itadori Yuji:

Is late to class for the first couple days since he doesn’t remember the lay out of the campus

Its so huge for so little people

Sometimes he’s late just cause he slept in

doesnt really understand whats going on

He only just recently learned this world existed so of course he’s out of the loop with everything

he probably naps in class alot or spaces out

‘If i were to feed sukuna’s mouth on my hand...where would the food go? What would happen? How deep does it go? What the hell has my body become??’

As his thoughts continue to derail, gojo would call on him and he might yell in response

he often asks megumi or nobara for help but they just dis him or ignore him

He tries to study! He really does! But he gets distracted and loses focus quite easily

during training he gets super excited thinking hes going to unlock abilities

but thats quickly shot down and hes usually just forced to do something really mundane like run laps or jumping jacks

He might get another dummy to help control his cursed energy while gojo does his best to annoy him (honestly it doesnt take much for gojo to be annoying)

believes everything gojo says

The blindfolded teacher definitely uses that to his advantage

“if you lick this rock it might help your overall abilities” “...really?” “are you doubting your sensei?” “is that...mud?” “Its just part of the rock. Besides you ate a rotten old finger for power im sure you can deal with a little bit of dirt”

He got sick for a week

Fushiguro Megumi:

Hes the kid who sits by the window and just stares out of it the whole class

He finds gojo’s teaching style incredibly annoying

Yes he learns stuff but because of the way Gojo teaches it, he ends up doubting all the knowledge he knew before in the process

Probably does well on tests or whatever homework their assigned

This kid probably makes himself a neat little bento for lunch

During lunch Yuji saw it and asked if he could have one next time instead of always buying food

He rejected his request for a while

But eventually he decided ‘why not its not like it would take that much more effort’

Nobara saw and was like “oh so you made one for a dunce like him but not me?”

Queue a large sigh

Within a month or two he makes everybody lunch (gojo included because he got tired of him always coming by and swiping a bit of food from everyone)

During training he pets his animals quite a bit

When gojo demonstrates a new self defense technique, megumi always gets picked to help demonstrate

110% of the time it ends up with his face being smeared into the floor

Wont ever admit it but he kinda enjoys class with yuji and nobara

Kugisaki Nobara:

Pretty short since i don’t quite know her character that well sorry

I feel like shes a mix of passing but also failing idk

Like during some tests she’d pass with flying colors and without a doubt will show off to the boys

But in other things she’d completely flunk

Draws little doodles in the corner of her notes and thinks about her childhood friend

During training she dislikes learning hand to hand combat

Mainly because she knows shes not capable of beating yuji and that ticks her off

So instead she beats him with her rubber mallet when given the chance

When yuji asks her to join him and megumi, she often complains or makes sassy comments but she never really ignores them

If she wanted to she could just hang by her self but she enjoys being with the two

Gojo Satoru:

This guy never shows up on time

Once he almost did so he simply turned around and decided not to show up at all

He doesn’t necessarily dislike teaching, but he finds giving detailed explanations kinda boring

‘I just told you what would happen, so why are you asking for a reasoning of the reaction’

He wants his students to have a fun teenage life so he often cuts class short by an hour or two just to hang out or go out

He explains how to counter certain types of curses or what to do in some scenarios pretty well

Gojo tries to teach regular stuff like math or history but...i dont know actually

Im not sure if he would happily teach it or just give up after a couple problems

I have a feeling he might just randomly give stupid hard problems and laugh as the first years struggle and fail to solve it

If any of his students do well on a test he’ll give them a small treat

And it may be small for him but its probably hella expensive

I mean he literally just wears clothing that is a couple thousand dollars each

His socks are most likely worth more than my house and everything inside it

Theres probably a small rule book of what he’s supposed to say and what hes not supposed to say

So just to piss the old man off he says everything he shouldnt

He encourages stupid behavior and absoluetly loves it when Yuji and Nobara thanks him for getting treats

1. Why did you choose this url?

its sort of like a pun between yall dont know and the fact that, hopefully, sincerely, chanyeol does not in fact know that i run this blog lmao i changed to this after a long time of being bread-jinie and i wanted to rebrand. i will, however, do my best to never change URLs again because the masterlist switch over was a complete hassle

2. Any sideblogs? If you have them, name them and why you have them

i have a fic recs blog called @yeoldontknowiread. as to why i have it, i know it hasnt been updated in ages since ive been kind of on hiatus, but i think reading and sharing work on this platform is immensely important. i actually read quite a lot of fanfiction, and i try my best to share the things i read. im very very behind on recs at the moment cause i try my best to write something substantial for every recommendation i make. as a writer, i know exactly the kinds of thoughts and feedback on fics that make my heart soar so i try to put in the same energy to my recs. community is only fostered when there is reciprocation

3. How long have you been on Tumblr?

hmmm since april 2017. i actually had my 4 year anniversary this year and i did have plans for things but i got roped into real life things and couldnt celebrate the way i truly wanted to :(

4. Do you have a queue tag?

no but sometimes i think i should. i view tags as a library on top of my knee jerk response to things. most of my tags are just my initial thoughts or feelings at any given moment, so those take precedence over a specific queue tag

5. Why did you start your blog in the first place?

when i was getting into exo, i was reading fanfiction like crazy. i used to write fanfic quite a lot in other fandoms, but at that time i hadnt written anything in about 2.5 years. exo was the first re-introduction to that feeling of excitement and inspiration. after about 3 weeks of straight reading, i decided i wanted to write again. i wrote the prologue to hero in about two hours and tried logging into AO3 to post it. sadly i forgot all of my log in information because it had been years, and was getting frustrated. i really wanted to put it somewhere out of fear that id lose interest if i didnt do something with it, and everything id read had been on tumblr. so i made a tumblr just to put hero lmao i didnt have any mutuals. it was a blog with straight 0. i hadnt even created an account to interact with writers before that moment, i really thought id be a silent reader forever. but exo woke me back up and for that i am eternally grateful.

6. Why did you choose your icon?

the yours music video is...so stunning? like the colour theory throughout the whole thing is truly so inspiring and gorgeous. and this shot of chanyeol looking at the painting took my breath away, truly. tulips and the color of peach, like do you know how evocative that is? ugh

7. Why did you choose your header

my header was made by @jamaisjoons for my birthday this year because shes literally the most talented person when it comes to graphics. and this was so kind of her to do, i cried a lot

8. What's your post with the most notes?

uhm....either the body through time or truth i cant remember which but i checked recently and its one of those

9. How many mutuals do you have?

honestly at this point im not even sure. i know ive lost a bunch while i was on hiatus because i was basically a dead blog, and some people do dash cleanses. and im certain others have left, too, for their own reasons. still, i have a good core of friends though who are active and that is enough for me

uhm i guess? there was a time when nng was not updated and every wednesday id post the days go by music video in sadness and grief but im not a big shitposter. if i make a text post its usually a life update or me crying about chanyeol, theres no inbetween lmao

tbh i havent used tumblr that often, not since march i think. i used to use it many times a day, checking in on friends and stuff, but once i started focusing on my phd applications i was only here sporadically. i didnt make an announcement either, just let my blog run on queue so i wasnt totally gone. i think i was checking in twice a week or maybe once every two weeks to refill my queue and check mentions etc. but now that my interviews are done im trying to get back on here daily to reconnect

14. Did you have a fight/argument with another blog once? Who won?

ive had my share of disagreements with people and any details about those situations shall remain as they are meant to: private

15. How do you feel about "you need to reblog this" posts?

in what context? like, you need to reblog this or your wish wont come true? or like, please reblog this to spread the word/spread awareness, etc? in the case for the former, i scroll right by. in the case of the latter, if im around and see someone raising a go fund me or some major event is occurring and i find a post with good sources or charities i will reblog. mostly though, the full extent my activism isnt really on this blog. its my escape from reality. my activism is usually placed on other platforms.

16. Do you like tag games?

i doooo!!! theyre so fun i love learning about my friends

17. do you like ask games?

i love those too! theyre so cute and usually a nice way to have interaction immediacy with people in the community

no one. can we please abandon this notion of fame on tumblr? arent we all here to write about some dick and some smut and some fluff and then hang out together and log off? lmao tumblr isnt reality and followers/fame is so arbitrary on this platform, no one has any control over any of it

why did you choose your url?

my fist url here was rainbowkaifish (or something like that) because one of my friends gave me the nickname kaifish(yk like koifish but- but with kai- you get it) then when i wanted to start posting art instead of just rebloging stuff i considered making a different blog for the art to seperate my art and the reblogs and even changed the name(to what it is now). i never ended up making an art account but i just kept the name

@talonbird is just a personal account for me to reblog stuff that might be important so like art tips and life hacks and stuff. that one isnt really for other people its more just for me so i never bothered changing the format or colors so its pretty bare. @clusterofspacedust was going to be a klunk art blog because i saw there really isnt much art for that ship but i decided against it(ill just post it on my main if i make any) and made it into an aesthetic blog. what that aesthetic is? im not sure

usually yeah! if its something like a picrew, then defiantly because those dont take long but typically if its a long one like this where i have to answer a lot of questions i might start to feel worn down by the end(i still like doing them though and even if i dont do them, seeing the notification is really nice)

Thank you for tagging me @lanwangiji !

Why did you choose your url?

Because I watched The Untamed and got sucked into it so bad. I just wanted to combine something of WWX and LWJ together for a name.

Any side-blogs? If you have them, name them and why you have them

This is a sideblog just for all the drama stuff. My main is rainboww-paradise which for my personal and 1D stuff.

How long have you been on tumblr?

I started this blog in June last year. I have had my main since 2012. And my old personal since 2010. So kinda way too long..

Do you have a queue tag?

Nopeee. Cos i usually add stuff to queue, and then just post from there when I have time at work. If I had a queue tag, then all my posts would have them.

Why did you start your blog in the first place?

Started my personal long ago cos I am always intrigued by SM platforms, and then created a 1D blog cos I did not want to mix personal and fandom together. Created this blog last year pretty much for the same reason.

Why did you choose you icon/pfp?

Because it is gorgeous!!

Why did you choose you header?

Love the HQ shots from the drama, and this is such a special scene. I just loved it.

Well i think Tumblr is passed the “famous” stage, so I dont think anyone cares about that now?

Not sure if this means on a personal level? But I admire alot of people. Like I said the skill level here is incredible!! And so many lovely people!!

Day 08 - Animal Kingdom

TLDR: Animal Kingdom. The new area of Pandora is absolutely stunning, great scenery and even better rides, especially Flight Of Passage - its phenomenal. The other noteworthy attractions was The Lion King show which was simply amazing. Nice little lunch in a rainforest, well in the Rainforest Cafe, though it was wetter outside than in. Tired adults and even tireder children so home to for some much needed rest after another ride or two.

Hakuna Matata!

Today kicks off the start of Week 2, and its a real struggle to get up today, especially the kids, but thats why we have energy shots eh? :P Pick up my mum and dad and headed off to Animal Kingdom. A completely new area with a few new rides and lunch in a rainforest sounds like a pretty good day to me. We get there and go through the usual bag check by a girl called Precious <insert LOTR jokes here> and I Just Cant Wait To Be King kicks in as soon as we enter the gates.

We had some time before the first Lion King performance of the day so we went to visit the new area in Animal Kingdom: Pandora - The World of Avatar. We watched the movie recently so we're kinda clued up a little on the Na'vi and what their world looks like. We have the Na’vi River Journey Fast Passed for later so had some time to take in the beautiful sights and sounds of this place. As soon as you enter the area you see the huge floating mountains and waterfalls - it's spectacular. Although there are a few rides here, its more than just that, they’ve created an immersive world and thought of every little detail to mirror world of Avatar. Cant wait to be back and try the rides out.

So we head round to Africa next to get a good seat for The Lion King show. As soon as it starts youre drawn right it, its definitely one of the best Disney Park attractions out there. Not do they sing all of the iconic songs, but they have huge Lion King characters on floats, acrobatics, dancing, hot girls dressed as zebras dancing, fire breathing, hot girls dressed as lionesses dancing, stilt-walkers and also hot girls dressed as tigers dancing (well I think it was tigers anyway...). Seriously though it was absolutely breath-taking, one of the best and a must see if you visit here.

After we had recovered, we were set up nicely for our first Fast Pass of the day, the Kilimanjaro Safari, which was just around the corner. Standard safari fare, catching a glimpse of Eleflumps, Giraffes, Cheetahs, Rhinos and a load of other things I cant remember the name of. The lions didn't want to come out and play though, which was a little disappointing.

I flew a Banshee and I liked it!

The rain came on then, so we put on our rain-jackets. Ten minutes later, the sun was back out and we were starting to cook, so we took our rain-jackets back off. That’s what it been like for the last few days, and its a nice break to the blistering heat at times. We had some time before our lunch reservation, so though we'd head back to Pandora and check out the first ride, Flight Of Passage. This had already come recommended and the build up to the ride through the queues and then this staging area where they did a full body scan (for the purposes of which was to link your genetics to an Avatar of course) and you could see your outline on screen as well as the other 19 peeps in the room all moving about - it was pretty cool! However the actual ride... the actual ride was another level. The ride has you linked with an Avatar riding a Banshee (a big flying dragon-y dinosaur type thing) and you fly through various landscapes including jungle, mountain and ocean. It actually feels like youre doing it, in some sort of surreal dream, the smells, the sounds and you can even feel the heartbeat of your banshee your sitting on. I physically gasped several times during the course of it and its probably the most spectacular thing I've witnessed (when it comes to theme parks experiences). For me this is my best ride ever and knocks Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey down to second place. I will definitely be doing this again before the holidays ends. So here’s a nice segway into Patrick's Fun Fact Of The Day before we head off for lunch. I loved this ride, and according to Patrick:

Seriously, where does he get this stuff? I googled this (for reference) and it took me to several different psychology sites about relationships and emotional response. Anyway moving on, we had lunch booked at the Rainforest Cafe, which is a cafe kitted out like a rainforest. Seriously. All sorts of animals and animal noises were in there as well as a thunderstorm that passed every 15 minutes or so. It was awesome! Gracie thought the tigers were real though so I had to reassure her they were only pretend, which she then seemed a little sad about. Our server asked if we were from Scotland because my dad sounded like Sean Connery to which my mum replied she wished he looked like him! XD Lunch was ordered and as soon as they brought Ann's plate out, I realised the gravity of my mistake (don’t you just hate that though). You see, I like tacos and I really like fish tacos in particular - they're one of my favourites, so Ahi Tuna Street Tacos was an obvious choice for me. However Ann got this thing called Tastes of the Islands, which was described as follows: Caribbean Coconut Shrimp, dynamite Scallops and shrimp, blackened tilapia topped with mango salsa. The plate looked epic and it tasted amazing (Ann inst Joey - she does share food). My tuna tacos were fine an all but yeah if I were to go again I probably get this, and if I were to go again after that, I'd probably get this - it was that gooooood.

Through a valley of fear, to a river so deep...

After lunch, which included a big bowl of dirt and worms for Gracie's dessert (read crushed up oreos and gummy worms), we headed off for our next ride and the second of the new ones, Na'vi River Journey! This one was a slow boat ride with lots of magical visuals along the way. Think Small World on LSD. I am actually really interested to see what they plan to do with the next films (oh and what Massive Entertainment do with the IP). Few pics below dont do the ride justice and I can understand why both ride in Pandora have extremely long wait times.

With the on and off rain cancelling our final Fast Pass of Kali River Rapids and all of the party getting a little weary, we decided to call it a day and head home to get a good night rest. We missed about half the park, but as we’ve scheduled a second visit to Animal Kingdom (which we were hesitant about but now so glad we did), we will catch the what we missed on the return visit.

We did swing by the Liquor store to pick up some whisky, (which happened to be a nice wee bottle of Woodford Reserve), and I got ID'ed. Nothing to worry about as I now carry my driving license about with me everyone now, since the Uno incident on 2013 (see previous blog post). However my dad said he was also ID'ed earlier in the week at the same store! Hehe my dad Sean Connery getting ID'ed eh? :P No plans for dinner just our daily ritual of going to Walmart to buy trading cards and other non-essential things before heading back to the hotel to relax... and sleep... and blog.
