#i really genuinely truly thought the ritual in The Elven Ritual sidequest was associated w a specific elven god #SPECIFICALLY-specifically w/ falon'din but at least with SOMEONE #and apparently it just. isn't. maybe i thought that bc it happens in the tomb? #anyway you heard it here first folks that ritual honored falon'din. #i must associate those things so strongly w/ him because you do SO much laying to rest in the brecillian #like all of origins is haunted we know this we've all seen the post. but the brecillian as a place is HAUNTED-haunted #like bro the ghosts walk. the arcane warrior soul. zathrian and the lady. do you see. #anyway this all comes around to me thinking of my surana showing up at skyhold not believing in gods but believing in ritual #basically i think she would hate solas and it would be so funny. like she would HATE him. and not because she needs to be smartest #but because she has a very finely tuned sense of threat and she can't stand to be anything less than the biggest threat in the room #she would LOVE completing the rituals in mythal's temple but not out of faith in mythal - out of faith in her own presence as an actor #any spell could work as long as she's the one reciting it.
