(I think it’s part 5😭)

* As a Venus conjunct pluto, Im so jealous of my cousins w Venus trine Pluto. They can easily become popular and have women drawn to them without as much drama.

*gemini rising babies are so much fun they smile so much as babies (shoutout to my niece and little cousin🥰)

* i have sun conjunct Neptune and people have compared me to a fairy

*cardi b has venus in the 8th (and a Scorpio venus i think) and she paid to get two strippers offset cheated w beat up. Scorpionic women + cheaters are a baddd combination.

*gwenyth Paltrow recently got body shamed and told to eat but shes also has a Pisces rising. They usually are very thin or have fragile looking bodies

*first house is also personality and my experience w Pluto in 1st people they are very very dominant. They’re friends follow them around, they’re used to getting their way, they have eyes on them at all times which can give them bad anxiety.

*Mars in the 2nd house men have some niceeeeeee voices like they’re so deep you can pick their voice out in a crowd

*I’ve seen Chiron in 11th be bullied as kids and grow up and become bullies. Also they might have a traumatic relationship with being in front of a camera. (Avoiding recording themselves or taking pictures)

*also Aries in 11th can get told they do too much on social media (posting too much or over sharing)

* I notice famous women who people claim are everywhere (basically overexposed) or in too many roles for actresses usually are Lilith dominant. (Ex: Jennifer Lawrence, GiGi Hadid, Megan thee stallion, Anne Hathaway) are they overexposed or are y’all just jealous?😭

*venus in the 1st can lead to jealousy it’s not always love and admiration. For ex: my friend saw this guy around our dorm and thought he was cute so she followed him on ig. Mind you a lot of girls in our dorm thought he was attractive (he had pluto in 1st) and many talked about him😭 well my friend saw his gf on his page and obviously left it alone but his gf picked her out of all the girls who lusted after him to be threatened by. Well his gf was an early degree cancer Venus and my friend has a Gemini Venus at 19 degrees so her Venus was in my friends 1h. She was clearly bothered by my friend specifically following him because she found her to be attractive.

*Three girls who talked about me behind my back and tried to bully me all had Aries venuses. One had my rising conjunct her Venus exactly.

*ONCE again mercury pluto are liars idk if it’s because they think they can get away w it or what but Sza has a conjunction and my good sis lies for no reason

*aqua Venus women are usually bisexual or lesbians

*Doja cat is a good example of Uranus-asc. I have a tight orb sextile and I’ve worn adventure time doc martens, strawberry earrings, bright orange hair. Think of Harper from wizards of waverly place.

*a good song for that aspect is “Secrets” by Mary Lambert. “I rock mom jeans, cat earrings, extrapolate my feelings”😮‍💨

*sun conjunct asc could make someone resemble their father or act just like their dad and I think Doja does resemble her father a lot

* also she has Saturn in 5th and her father was an actor/performer. Also she complained about working too much and many people w this aspect feel like the fun is delayed and comes after work or they very strict on themselves in fun environments. Let loose yall💕💕

* my favorite mercury sign is Taurus😭 they have beautiful voices but the way the cuss people out is so iconic to me (ex: azealia banks)

*it’s messy to bring him up after doja but idgaf😭 Joseph Quinn has mars conjunct Uranus. A lot of eddie munson’s mannerisms were erratic and I think mar-Uranus plus his aqua placements made eddie so great at the role.

*also I notice a lot of heartthrobs or men twitter went crazy for at some point have aqua placements (timothee chalamet, Harry styles, Justin Bieber, Joseph Quinn, Noah centineo, Pedro pascal) it’s opposite of Leo so I think people keep forgetting the attention magnet can go for aquas too esp online.

*since i mentioned the show another example of Venus-Neptune synastry could be Mason and Alex. All the art references, him hiding what he really was until he couldn’t, and the fears of cheating and deceit.

*a mix of Virgo, libra, and Leo can make someone the person who tries to help everyone. They will bring you food if you haven’t eaten and also lecture you but it’s coming from a good place. I think people forget how sweet Leo placements can be (ex: Bella hadid for someone who grew up w money she’s very humble and you can see this in multiple instances. For example sza thanked her for helping fix her hair at the met gala)

* she also have Venus conjunct ascendant which I think makes someone’s Venus traits stand out. I’ve noticed people w Venus square their ascendant don’t really openly express love for people and can even get called “cold” esp by family members.

*She also has Saturn in the 7th which could mean dating older partners or partners w cap placements. The Weeknd was older than her and he has a cap Venus + mars.

*certain placements can get away w a lot. Chris brown has a history of abuse yet women seem to still support him (moon conjunct Venus). He also has mars opposite Uranus which is a temper problem indicator

* fixed risings 🤝 pixie cuts/bobs (ex: Marilyn Monroe, Halle Berry, Zendaya, demi Lovato)

The Culture of Pop Music

Just like any other culture it has a history. It has people who belong to and appreciate it and it has people that don't.

Jungkook has clearly stated his wish to be part of it.

There’s been a massive resurgence of early 2000s trends including fashion and music trends. We can see music of 2023 sampling, covering, being influenced by and paying homage to that era in their sounds and visuals.

There *IS* a conversation that has been going on for as long as I can remember AND before, as to pop music and it’s relationship with black culture. That’s not a topic that will be covered here. However it’s worth noting that Pop music, being so heavily influenced by black culture, leads to sensitivities when highlighting the things liked or disliked about pop music, it’s lyrics, visuals, sounds etc.

A lot of dance moves in pop music videos, seen as provocative by some audiences are praised and not seen as anything more than an extension of the music. The artists are praised for their sensual movements to the beat, reminiscent of how the listener may dance to the same song with their friends or partners at the club, in their car, at a house party, places you’d expect to enjoy pop music. The dancing mostly isn’t taken for more than what it, an addition to the visuals. Pop music videos are rarely seen as a reflection of the artists real life interactions, most viewers don’t expect the artists to dance off a car, on a metal fence or on a crane in real life.

Music can be playful, music can be fun, music doesn’t have to be serious, filled with soul searching, heartbreak, lyrical genius, layered production or activist messages.

Pop music in particular is meant to be catchy, it’s meant to be easy listening. Not always require of depth and analysis. With pop music especially, sometimes it is what it is.

This is the genre that JK has based his solo debut on so far. These are a few examples of his peers within that genre. Not BTS.

Critically acclaimed Singer & Songwriter Victoria Monet, known for writing for some of the biggest pop stars including Ariana Grande. MV visuals with male and female dancers, chores, skin on display. Singing about confidence, sex and the addition of strong language to her lyrics.

Pop music of different decades has always had those that didn't subscribe to it and had lovers of it, it was seen with The Beatles, it was seen with Elvis, it was seen with Madonna. They all had the terms ‘scandalous’, ‘not suitable for kids’, ‘too provocative’, ‘basic’ etc attached to them at some point in their career.

Opposers of pop music have been heard time and time again over the years to praise their favoured genre for having more depth, more quality, more artistry etc whilst seeing pop music as lesser, as commercial and lacking artistic integrity.

Michael Jackson had major push back when shedding his child star image from his group with his brothers to become a soloist, yet today he is one on the biggest icons of music history, pop music, as are all the aformentioned artists.

In every period there were people for and people against.

This post is not about the harmful tropes within pop music, the objectifying visuals, the problematic lyrics etc. There are many issues with pop music, just like there are issues with rock music with parent and religious groups, divisive issues with country music, appropriation issue with the aforementioned and with Jazz music. Each genre has its issues. Each genre have people who love it or hate it.

This is just about the fact that pop culture exists, it has always existed, it's a culture that is important to a lot of people, it is understood and appreciated by a lot of people. It has always had people also against it, it has always had people trying to hold it accountable and people who do not enjoy it.

This is the culture, its always been here and most likely always will.

You don't have to like it, you don't have to love it, but there are those that do and that doesn't make one wrong and one right, it doesn't make one superior nor on inferior.

It’s the genre at present that JK wants to be apart of, that he wants to fit in with and he’s doing so well when looked at along side those successful and praised in that genre.

Comparing Jungkook to his old solo or group music and old style or comparing Jungkook to his members recent solo works does a huge disservice to him and to the other members. They've specifically stated that they wanted to show their individual colours separate to the group's.

By Jungkook's own admission he wants to be a global pop star, instead of looking to compare, either him to himself or him to others, when you look at the examples of popstars of today and of the early 2000s, Jungkook has achieved that and is continuing in that path. His solo rollout fits in with his pop peers.

It's a culture, its always been here and most likely always will.

If We Were Vampires (Pt. 5)

- Jordan thinks about what Marie said.

- Jordan gets a lesson in vampirism.

Jordan had spent most of their morning contemplating on what Marie had said to them yesterday. They were conflicted, because she was right. It wasn't their place to decide if Moreau couldn't take the truth, or to protect her from things when Jordan knew more than anyone that Marie was strong enough to take on anything. They hated that they made Marie think they actually thought that low of her.

It was just instinct at this point, to protect her, even from things she might not need protection from. It's not that she couldn't protect herself, it's that Jordan didn't want her to have to protect herself. She's been fighting and protecting herself her whole life, and so has Jordan. And they both realized this about each other, so they sort of silently agreed to let the other be there for them. To let the other know that they didn't have to fight alone anymore. Except now, Jordan may have overdone it a bit, made her think that they thought she couldn't take care of herself. But that is the one thing Marie Moreau knew how to do more than anything.

Jordan came to the conclusion that they were gonna tell her the truth, as ugly as it was. At least this way, Marie would have the knowledge she'd need to protect herself. Not just from the other Vampires, but from Jordan too. They had gotten too close to ripping her throat open, twice now. If Marie knows to keep her distance, then hopefully she will.

Before Jordan confronts Marie, they need to educate themselves on these Supe-Vampires, first. Jordan walked around the quad in their female form, sporting their iconic bomber jacket and black joggers. It was a sunny day and Jordan realized just how sensitive they were to the sun now. The ring prevented them from bursting into flames, but their skin still felt slightly irritated when exposed to the sun. They found themselves having to wear sunglasses, due to their newly sensitive eyes. Jordan never thought they'd pray more for a cloudy day than now.

Jordan decided to use their lunch period to track down Justine and demand answers (Okay, maybe they should try a calmer approach first, but we'll see). They wandered over to the performing arts side of the campus, scanning the various picnic tables and small clusters of students. Jordan's about to move on until they finally spot her.

They watch as Justine walks across the quad, stopping at a group of three people that were lounging by a tree. Jordan B-lined straight to Justine, not paying any mind to the people she was with.

“Hey!” Jordan barked, getting Justine's attention.

A devilish smile stretched across her face the second she recognized Jordan. “Jordan! Hey! What's going on?” She spoke in an overly friendly tone. Of course Jordan wasn't buying a single bit of that.

Jordan threw a quick glance at the other three people standing there before looking back at Justine. “Can we talk? In private?”

“Hmmm…” Justine puts a finger to her chin, pretending to think about it. “I don't know, I was planning on spending lunch with my friends here. Can it wait till later?”

Jordan takes a quick breath, reminding themselves to not make a scene. “It can't wait.” Jordan forced out through gritted teeth.

Justine looks at Jordan for a few seconds more, before turning to her friends. “Sorry guys, looks like number five wants my attention.”

Jordan just rolls their eyes, groaning in annoyance. “Let's just fucking go.” Jordan grabs Justine's arm and basically yanks her away from the group.

“Easy, Li. No need to get handsy.” She teases, causing Jordan to drop her arm like a hot coal.

They stop walking once they're far enough away from people to talk, taking shelter in the shade of another tree. Jordan takes off their sunglasses, pocketing them for now. Justine crosses her arms, looking down at Jordan and quirking an eyebrow. “So what is it? Run out of blood already? You kill someone?”

Jordan shushes Justine, who's talking about blood and killing out loud, like it's a normal conversation topic. They didn't want anyone passing by to catch what they were talking about. “How about you keep your fucking voice down? No, I didn't run out of blood and I didn't kill anyone.”

“What do you want then?” She shrugs.

“I need you to tell me everything.” Jordan demands.

“Everything?” Justine asks, confused.

“About vampires. I need you to tell me everything you know about vampires.” Jordan clarifies.

“Yeah… I don't have time for this.” Justine turns to walk away but is stopped by Jordan, now in male form, grabbing her arm and pulling her back.

“Hey, you're the only person I know that's involved in this shit, so either you tell me everything you know, or tell me who else I can go to.” Jordan speaks, now towering over her. But Justine doesn't seem intimidated.

Justine looks up at them and sighs, annoyed. “Okay, fine.” Jordan's about to speak but Justine interrupts, “-On one condition.”

Jordan huffs, growing tired of the back and forth. “What?”

She thinks for a moment. “Hmm… Cameo on my YouTube channel.”

“Ha!” Jordan lets out incredulously. “No fucking shot.”

Justine shrugs, “Fine, then I'm not telling you anything.”

“Seriously? Just because I don't want to show up on your stupid fucking YouTube channel? There isn't anything else you want?” Jordan says, finding this whole interaction ridiculous.

“I may be dead, but I still plan on climbing to the top. Girls gotta grow their following somehow.” she retorts.

Jordan rolls their eyes, so hard it almost hurts. “Ugh, fine. One Instagram post. But that's fucking it.” They relent. The sooner they get their information, the sooner they can leave this conversation.

Justine smirks, feeling victorious. “I'll take it.” She goes to lean her back against the tree. “Where do you want to start?”

Jordan crosses their arms across their chest, taking a breath before starting. “You Google Vampire and all you get is a load of fiction. I want to know what's real and what's fake.”

Justine ponders a bit. “Hmm. Well, you already know the basic shit. We need to drink blood to survive. If you don't you'll grow weaker, and you'll be so hungry you lose your mind. Like, full on animalistic. Go without blood long enough and you'll like, mummify or something.”

“Mummify?” Jordan questions.

“Yeah, your skin gets all dried and gross like a mummy's. You can be stuck like that for centuries or until someone gives you blood.” she explains poorly, honestly.

“Noted.” Jordan nods, trying to picture what Justine is describing.

“But yeah, it's really all about the blood. Drinking doesn't only satisfy our thirst, but it also heightens our abilities. We get stronger, faster, and heal a lot quicker. Like, my usual level of healing.” Justine continues, talking as if she's selling vampirism to Jordan, which Jordan finds mocking.

“So I can heal as fast as you can now?” Jordan asks, admittingly curious at the thought.

Justine smirks, nodding. “Yeah, as long as you keep drinking human blood.”

Jordan gives her a confused look. “You say that like there's another option.”

“Well… yeah. Apparently some vampires find drinking human blood inhumane or whatever. Or they're like, addicted to it and are afraid of killing too many people.” She says, like the idea is stupid.

Justine's apparent coldness shouldn't have surprised Jordan, but it still takes them back a bit. “How do they survive?” Jordan asks slowly.

“Animal blood.” She says with a grimace. “But those vamps are significantly weaker than us. Can't even compel people right.” She shakes her head.

“Compel?” Jordan asks, wondering if they heard her correctly.

“Man, you really are a clueless little vamp, huh?” Justine crosses her arms and shakes her head in a condescending way.

“Hey, I didn't choose to be like this! I didn't choose to be abandoned in a fucking alleyway, miles away from campus, not knowing what I turned into! I was the one left to their own devices!” Jordan blew up at Justine, getting in her face. Justine stepped back, the sudden aggression catching her off guard. She watched as Jordan's true face emerged, eyes darkening and veins black.

She looked around, noticing the attention Jordan's outburst put on the two of them. She quickly grabbed Jordan and yanked them around the large tree trunk, hoping no one saw Jordan's face change. Jordan tried to pull away, but her strength seemed to be enough to force them around. “Jesus Christ, I'm sorry, okay? Now calm the fuck down before someone sees your face.” She whisper-shouted at them.

Registering what she was saying, Jordan shut their eyes, trying to slow their heaving breaths. They really needed to get their emotions under control. Everything still felt so potent and raw. They shifted into female form, to remind themselves that they still had control over something. Eventually their breathing evened out and they opened their eyes, now back to normal.

Justine sighed, relieved that the situation didn't get any worse. She has been listening to nearby conversations to see if anyone brought up Jordan's face, but they didn't. Mostly talking about them talking to each other in the first place, some upset that a fight didn't break out again.

Her attention was brought back to Jordan after realizing they've calmed down. “Okay, if there's one thing you need to work on, it's managing your fucking emotions. It should ease up over time as you get used to it. Same with the light sensitivity and other stuff. But you can't go around flashing your true face in front of people.” Justine lectures.

Jordan takes in Justine's words, still trying to keep themselves calm. “True face… is that the-” Jordan gestures at their face, “veins and stuff?”

“Yeah. It's a weird name but it's what people call it. It usually shows up when you're feeling an intense emotion like anger or sadness or-”

“Hunger?” Jordan interrupts Justine, getting the gist of it.

“Yeah, and this whole vampire thing is supposed to be a secret, if you haven't noticed. If anyone catches you, or if you're about to feed on someone, you can always compel them to forget.” She explains.

Jordan nods along, looking down for a sec before looking back up at Justine. “So… we can compel people?” Justine nods. “How does that work?” Jordan speaks a lot more calmly than they were at the start of this conversation, making sure their breathing stays even.

“It's easy. You just look into a person's eyes and tell them what to do, and they'll just do it. Anything you say, they'll do. Unless they have vervain on them or they're another vampire.” She describes.

“Okay… and vervain is?” Jordan asks for clarification.

Justine, realizing just how much she's gonna have to explain, moves to sit down, leaning her back against the tree. “It's one of our weaknesses. It's like this weird purple plant, herb, thing. Basically, it's bad for us. If we touch it, it burns and if we ingest it or get injected with it, it tranquilizes us and we're super fucking weak. Stay away from it if you can.” She tries her best to illustrate.

Jordan follows Justine's movements, sitting crisscross across from her. “That's fucking good to know. Do we have other weaknesses other than sunlight and vervain? Like garlic or a cross or whatever the fuck?”

“No, all that dracula shit is bullshit. Garlic's fine, crosses don't do shit, and neither does Holy water. I'm guessing you already know the mirror thing is bullshit too, and we can't shape shift into fucking bats.” Justine rambles off, listing off the various ridiculous vampire stereotypes.

Jordan just nods, “Got it.”

Justine continues before Jordan can ask another question. “Our actual weaknesses, besides the two you already know, include things like fire, we're very flammable,” She adds as a small throwaway, “and wood. It's one of the only things that really damages us. The wounds are harder to heal too. The whole stake to the heart thing is real, you will die. But if I stab you in the chest with a knife, you could just pull it out, no biggie.” She says as if that's reassuring.

“Stay away from stake wielding maniacs. Got it.” Jordan states, sarcastically.

“Whatever, Li. Anyways, that's about all of it. I'll dm you about the insta post.” Justine gets up to start walking away.

“Wait!” Jordan springs up, stopping her in her tracks. She turns around.

“Yes?” She asks, clearly annoyed.

“I wanna meet the others. Or at least tell me who they are.” Jordan says, as nice as they can manage.

Justine shrugs. “Sorry Jordie, but that one's not up to me.” She pats their arm and walks away.

Jordan's about to walk after her, but stops when they spot Marie Moreau standing in the quad with Emma. Her eyes are locked on Jordan, but follows Justine for a second as she walks past them. When Marie goes to look back at Jordan, she doesn't see them. She can't even see them walking away anywhere, as if they just vanished.

Jordan had used their super speed to dash out of there and back to their dorm, stumbling in and closing the door behind them. Jordan was starting to get a hang on the speed. They realized it wasn't like normal superspeed that a speedster might have. It was more like short bursts of speed, traveling short distances in the blink of an eye, appearing as nothing but a blur. But they couldn't run a whole mile with their speed.

Jordan walked over to their mini fridge, pulling out two blood bags. They put one in their backpack and opened up the other one, using an attached tube as a straw. The first sip was always bliss, not being able to help the small moan that escapes them. It was just too good, made them feel too good. They hate to admit it, but they loved it.

Once Jordan finished the bag, they disposed of it in a black trash bag hidden under the bed. Jordan then took out their phone and texted Marie:

“Hey, can we talk please?”

It took a moment for Marie to respond, making Jordan just a bit worried. They knew she had a free period right now and they wanted to get this truth telling over with. The nerves were starting to eat at them. After a minute or two, their phone pings.

“Sure. I'm in my dorm.”

Jordan breathes out after reading the messages. They were actually gonna do it. They were actually going to tell Marie that they're a fucking vampire. Jordan hopes that she won't freak out or look at them like the monster they felt they were. Would she even believe them? Jordan hopes they won't have to prove it somehow.

They grab their backpack and make their way to Marie's dorm room…
