ICT POLICY: A Reflection

  Since Technology has been part in education, students are more depend in technology it is important that it used properly so that there is a policy that we should follow an ICT policy.

     Policy is a deliberate plan of action to guide decisions and achieve rational outcomes while ICT policy is a roadmap to ICT  implementation strategies, a policy put into place by government’s and stakeholder’s who are committed to the process of bringing digital technology to all individuals and communities so that they can have access to information.

      There are (8) Eight policy themes are commonly identified in education technology policies around the world.The following are (1) Vision and Planning, (2) ICT Infrastructure, (3) Teachers, (4) Skills and Competencies, (5) Learning Resources, (6) EMIS or the Education Management Information System, (7) Monitoring and Evaluation, and last but not the least, (8) Equity, Inclusion, and  Safety.

     ICT has a roles it is accepted that communication is a basic infrastructure necessary for economic and social development of a country, this is even becoming more strong than even as information related economic activities are growing and internet plays a fundamental function in ICT role. ICT has so many advantages in the learning and teaching process. Classroom management is one of them that gained benefits from ICT.
