I’ve said it before but I think it’s so fucking weird how while I’m scared n pissed off, I feel like I’ve been prepping for this kind of nonsense my whole life.

My religious experience was doomsday prep. The rapture, the second coming, the holocaust, columbine, devotionals explaining how I’d be bullied and persecuted at school for my beliefs, piles and piles of books and movies about missionaries who died trying to “spread the word”: all core memories. I’ve been feeling like an activated sleeper cell since 2017. It’s fucking weird.
