disclaimer I don't know much about estonian history so this is VERY unsubstantiated but I kinda ship estice and estliet? The first one is kind of a crack ship to me lol the content I've seen with it is relatively cute so why not. The second... again I'm not really aware of the history behind them (besides that Lithuania once rules Estonia at one point? I think?) but the content I've seen is 99% modern day and pretty cute, especially with them being two calm people together, idk it just seems 1/2

|| Interesting! Interesting! I know you said it was a crackship but with EstIce there is quite a bit of history to go off of. Although it is questionable if relevant to Hetalia, but with my personal headcannons of when Estonia came to be and how old he is - Iceland and Estonia have brief history that dates back to the Viking age. In the Njál's saga a battle between Osilians (A subvision of estonians who lived on Saaremaa, nowadays they're known as Saarlased but they're basically the same being the descendants of Osilians, so really they were just Estonians all along because Saarlased are still very much so considered Estonian) and Icelandic Vikings happened in 972AD (There's quite a lot of history of Estonia fighting Vikings and even maybe sort of being one 💅)

ALSO, Iceland is said to be literally the first nation to recognize Estonia regaining his independence, so that's saying something. For that even a place got named after Iceland (Islandi väljak) and there aren't really many places that I've heard of of being named after another country.

Cultularly Estonians have a pretty positive view on Iceland (there's books written about Iceland and what a nice and interesting place it actually is. Estonians usually have a positive view on the Nordics in general. )

Estliet is an interesting case for me, I might not be an active shipper but I've had my eye on it for awhile, I do occasionally read a fic or two I might find because YEAH these two would be a peaceful pair.

Yes before Sweden came and FULLY got control of Estonia, then the Polish-Lithuania commonwealth had control over Estonia, mainly the South area.

Views on the country from people I've talked to is either neutral or positive, I personally have a love for Lithuania because I've been there (Took part in a pretty casual choir competition thing, my choir and I went to Kaunas and spent like a few days there. It was GREAT, I loved it so much!!)

They have their differences of course, but really let's not forget the things that have brought the Baltics together in general. (The forest brother army. The entirety of the Singing Revolution with the Baltic chain, which was an entire chain consisting of around 2 million people from all three Baltics, standing together holding hands which reached from Tallinn to Vilnius.

Although Latvia is included in this too, I've heard of the agreement that if Russia starts up something with one of the Baltics, the other two Baltics will also get involved in trying to help. if Russia ever wants to come and only target ONE of the Baltics, yeah no - you're gonna have to deal with all three.

Apart of me actually imagines the Baltic dynamic with the Estliet ship, Latvia becoming that one nation they both just hope to protect- but yeah, personality wise they do fit.

Also I find it a little funny how because of Lietpol (Lithuania's part of the name coming from whag Poland calls Lithuania.) All ships with Lithuania just go with liet hahah. In Estonian Lithuania's name is Leedu if you're curious.

Korest?? Now that is extremely new for me, oh Woah that felt out of nowhere - well at the top of my head I can also mention how K-pop is having a rise here too, although that should come as no surprise.

I mean, they're pretty good trade partners? Indeed techy Bois, also there's apparently like 16 or so Koreans who live in Estonia so that's something.

Well, I should mention that I've made SO MANY koreans in Old town - clearly being tourists, just, what. Of course I do still struggle at times to tell Chinese and Koreans apart by appearance, but I have seen some and heard them speak that just makes my brain go "Korean. Has to be Korean." And really nothing against them, I'm more like surprised that Estonia seems to attract so many of them to come tour here. Like HUH?

Personally, I did state before that Estliet MAYBE a bit of a ship I might like, but it takes time for me to really develop a ship I grow close and attached to.

Although maybe not a ship, I would like to just make it an honourable mention that Sweden and Estonia have lots of history together which is actually a bit positive. So that's a potential ship for people to look at, I can delve into the history between them if anyone is interested. ||

A/N : Heyyy how was your day? I got this idea bc i love Pippin so much hhhaah 😂😂. And i was scrolling through tumblr and i think there is not so many Pippin stories so here is mine. Also i want to say that in this part won’t be so many fluff sorry. Tell me what you think about this 😂😂❤❤❤ Pairing: Pippin x (human)reader Warnings: pain,harm idk how to call it 😂😂 [Y/N-your name] . . . Like it was yesterday you were resting in your garden in Rivendell and now you are running with Fellowship of the ring through Moria. “Y/n! Y/n!” -Pippin cried. “Quite you fool!”-Gandalf shouted at him. You let little grin play on your lips. “Yes Pippin?” “Do you want to tell me…I mean us…. I mean….” “He want you to tell us one of your stories”-Merry said saving his friend from embarrassment. “Of course”-you answered. You were just to begin to start the story but Boromir interrupted you. “There will be time for storytelling Y/n but not now! Gandalf remembered the way! We must go! Quick!” Argh that Boromir. That “son of Gondor”. He was so annoying. He always interrupted your chats with everyone! Like he was your boyfriend… But very very jealous boyfriend. You helped Sam to pack his things and followed Gandalf. While walking you felt how dream is coming to your eyes. You know that you can’t sleep right now but you are so tired. And suddenly you fell on the cold rocks of Moria. “Y/n are you okay?”-Pippin asked with worried look on his face. “Move!”-Boromir shouted and pushed Pippin away. “Are you okay?” You feel anger. You can’t control it anymore. “Yes Boromir! I’m fine! Okay i’m fine!! Look at poor Pippin!! You pused him away like he is an enemy or somebody you hate most!! How dare you!”-you shouted at him. Boromir stare at you in shock like everybody else. You quickly ran to the Pippin. He is okay. You don’t know why but you feel like ring was destroyed ,you were happy because he was okay. Someone inside you was whispering something you were thinking about for a while. But you weren’t listening to that voice. It cannot be. You are human and he is a hobbit. Well,cute hobbit. But you can’t help yourself. You are in love with Peregrin Took. And yes you just said that to yourself. When you are watching him you had a feeling that you can climb on a mountain for him if it’s necessary. “Gimli!”-you heard Aragorn’s voice. It put you back to reality. Gimli is running to the tomb. ‘Balin,son of Fundin’ it was curved into a heavy rock. “So he is dead then”-Gandalf said,and gave Pippin his hat. He found a book,well a diary actually… Yo weren’t listening to him. You were watching Pippin. “Pippin…No”-you whispered so only you can hear yourself. He touched the skeleton and it fell down. “Fool of a Took! Throw yourself next time and save us from your stupidity!”- Gandalf said angrily.“ Oh please Gandalf it’s not his fault! It could happened to anybody else from fellowship!”- you replied. “Miss Y/n calm down!” “You are telling me!! To calm down! To calm down! *fake laugh* No Mr. Gandalf i won’t caln down! You just hurted his feelings! Look at him! Now he feels more guilty!!” “Y/n! Quite!Gandalf i apologies in my sisters name!”- Aragorn said…. Silence… And now… You hear drums… Drums from the deep. Orcs are coming. You prepared your sword Elladan gave to you in Rivendell. “Protect Pippin and yourself! Protect tje others of course. But protect Pippin. Your beloved one.”-voice inside you was whispering. Boromir closed the door and said “They have a cave troll”. “Stay close to Gandalf”- Aragorn said to hobbits and then turned to you. “Y/n now is time to protect Pippin! Stay close to hobbits. I trust you. You can do this. And remember if anything happens to them don’t blame yourself. You gave everything in your power to protect them” “What if i didn’t give everything in my power?” “But you will. I know you will sister. Like you always did” Aragorn hugged you and ran to Legolas preparing his bow. “Let them come! There is one living dwarf in Moria”-Gimli shouted. Then they came. Orcs came in, and battle began. You were attacking orcs but staying close to hobbits. And your beloved one. You were fighting very well. And then troll came in. You knew you can’t protect them from that creature alone. And then one filthy orc pierced your leg “ARAGORN!”- you shouted in pain. He turned around to see you on your knees in pain. “Y/n!!”-hobbits said in panick. “I’ll save you!!!” -it was Pippin’s voice. “NO!! Pippin stay close to others you cannot help me anymore” “But i need to!” Then troll turned to you. This is it. This is your end. You will die here. In Moria…. “Nooo! Y/n!” -Pippin ran to you and push you behing the neares bigger stone. “Thank you Pip”-you whispered with smile. “You’re welcome Y/n i’ll never forgive myself that i didn’t save you. I’ll always be with you Y/n… Always” -he said and you saw tear dropped from his eye falling on your arm. “Pippin. Go back to the others. I can’t protect you with leg like this” -you said. “Y/n! Y/n!” - Aragorn came to you with his eyes full of tears. “Brother..” “Y/n please stay with me” “Aragorn..Go fight… Leave me here” Troll came and Aragorn pierced him with spear. You fall asleep. ————————– —————– You opened your eyes. You are lying in wood. “She is awake!Y/n is awake!” - you heard Pippins voice. He was running everywhere and whoever he met he screamed to him:“Y/n is awake!!”. Where you sleeping for so long? Finnaly after tour around the wood he came to you. “Hey Pip,what have i missed?” - you asked with a smile. “A lot Y/n” “Well can you tell me most important?” “Y/n… Gandalf….” “What’s with Gandalf?” “He… He… He is dead” “Dead?!” “But how Pip? It’s not possible!! I haven’t apologize to him for things i did because i love you”-damn it. It just blurted out. Whag now?!! “You… You love me?” “Actually yes Pippin” “But how??” “I don’t know” “And what is with Elladan?” “Elladan?” “I thought..” “You thought wrong” - you interrupted him. “So you don’t like Elladan?” “Oh,God no! We are just friends. Actually best friends but nothing more because i helped him to make one elf fall in love with him and they are courting now” “Well i think he owe you because you helped him to court someone,so he need to help you” “I know” “But he need to find something else to help you with because you will court somebody before coming back to Rivendell again. So kell.... I havent wrote anything on here because i dont want a reverse image search to lead back to this page so ill write it on a google docs and link that. But then again i also need this stuff to be under tight lock and key. Reason being she keeps contacting me even after i cut her out of my life. The only freak that did that and had a weird fascination with me was kelsara. Yes, kelsara. Thats another story ill save. But long atory short, he found me and...flirted or was either too friendly. Idk. Idc. I just wanted him to fuck off. During this kelsara situation, kell was there and heard it all. All. Just curious how honest shes been with you...or if she really didnt give a fuck and...didnt listen or understand...for sure she heard but...i dont think she understood. These are two...stories that overwhelm me...so i havent summoned the courage to tell them...or my pov... The kelsara situation i basically put behind me but....something about it still bothers me...but...yeah... But theres the...shitstorm ive been in the past months...kell + kelsara ...and just...managing my weight tbh... And sleep schedule... Look ik i ramble a lot but i have evidence to back it up...i do. I just...going through the motions is difficult. If kell thought losing you was painful, losing her hurt just as much. But in the time ive known her, she never once apologized. Never. People who blame others for their problems will not succeed in this world...which also convinces me she will lose her friends on her own...cody you and i both know what accountability is.... That entire google docs i gave you between aris and kell is her having 0 accountability and playing victim card. When you confront her she suddenly forgets...she ss so constantly...no. thats impossible. 0 accountability. And she verbatim pretty much wrote "im glad you dont know anything aris" Fun fact, before i was invited back into the guild, her toons were already removed. So dont blame me for that. Just...look at how people speak...i get furious she diagnoses people. From what? Cause youre a psych major? She cant even tell whats wrong with herself. And psych majors dont "fix" people. They help them cope and understand themselves better. Thats how i know she hasnt graduated yet. If she provokes me more i will show her how to graduate. Her major is a soft science compared to my Bio degree. Wanna know whqt i mean when i say i jope she doesnt "fix" you?? Ok naive view but keep up: she was bothered teklin changed his legacy name to wicks legacy name and they twinned in terms of clothing. Shes here calling it an "unhealthy obsession" while im here thinking 1. Hes depressed 2. Hes homeschooled Even with sibilings he will find someone (wick) who is someone he aspires to be or he respects and he will take up certain qualities he has...and just be his best friend. Its not fucking rocket science. Hes homeschooled and lonely. Yes homeschooled people can still have more friends but not many connect. He found wick so he connected. Dont go around telling pwople whats unhealthy. Whats unhealthy is you going around diagnosing people when you dont wven realize how toxic you are kellavia. The statements you write are toxic. You literally wrote i was "sober." You dont know me. You dont know teklin. In fact you bitch about him so often dont evem say you got to know him. But me? I ranted a lot. You were there for my meltdowns...but here you are "forgetting" now that its convenient for you. Yeah, wait until the truth gets out. You dont know us. You know as much as you want to and diagnose it. Bitch dont do that. Thats how i know cody will get fucked over by you. Youre great at cutting qnd pasting but you lack evidence. Why? She cwlls me controlling? How about you ask her why she tells people to verbatim "you are not allowed to talk to this person" If you ask me, she has a lot to hide. Like i said, i havent done shit to her. The truth is just coming out. Even with all of this said i havent even scrqped it....ill make a google docs and...hopefully...itll add clarity...but...yeah You were right thay night: secrets dont mqke good friends. When i pulled spider into the channel it was becwuse i wanted him to replace me on the prog team. But if im gonna be comoletely honest, i also said id pay for it. Thats my own...thing cody. Ypu dont have to know whag i do with my money....i didnt lie...i just wanted to have a replacement that was good for the team.
