Mmmm. Ok. I get. People being like “oh it doesn’t matter it’s Utah, its an escape, something something deeper meaning” thing, and the fact Wilbur wasn’t trying to make people feel like they were being made fun of, and the fact like- the dsmp started by not feeling serious. But tbh none of that takes away from the fact I feel sort of made fun of, as irrational as that is.

I don’t want to talk about it in depth or rant and accidentally start an argument but this blog does exist as a way for me to express my fandom feelings and I do feel like, just kind of, made the butt of the joke idk.

The ending can be fitting to season 1 or full of deeper meaning but like- idk. For me this ending just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and makes me wonder why I ever got invested.

Nothing could live up to fandom expectations, I’m sure, and in that way an ending like this might be perfect, where it didn’t try to fulfill on any bombastic fight or argument or revival, but- I don’t know. It feels bad.
