Oh btw John DeLancie (Q from Star Trek) also voices fucking Discord from MLP. Not joking. He’s also janes dad in breaking bad. Absolutely buckwild range

John DeLancie exists as a kind of evolutionary pressure on burgeoning fandoms. If an IP can't survive his attention, it isn't fit to survive.

MarkWHO42's Universe - Episode 332 - Picard: Past, Present, and Future
MarkWHO42’s Universe – Episode 332 – Picard: Past, Present, and Future
The second season of Star Trek: Picard has finished on the Paramount+ streaming service so we take a deep dive into the wormhole. Why is Q back and what is his obsession with the Admiral? Who is Adam Soong and what is his obsession with eugenics? When did Dr. Juranti get that voice? Can we juggle all of these characters and stories? How did they sneak in a surprise cameo without an internet leak?…

HELLO EVERYONE CONVENTION PHOTO DUMP LOL
SO YEAH. I MET JOHN DELANCIE TODAY AND GOT AN AUTOGRPH. HOW ARE Y'ALL DOING 😭😭😭😭 John deLancie was so kindly and was generally very respectable and I was trying not to be super nervous around him, and I also got the chance to meet and get an autograph from Charles Martinet! Martinet had a ton of energy and was super fun to talk to! All in all it was a really fun convention and I'm so glad I went 😭😭😭

okay it's time for another caligari adaptation reaction thread. yaaaaay
so, this time, I'm looking at the 1998 audio drama by yuri rasovsky, featuring john delancie. you know, the guy from star trek and/or my little pony, depending on how cool you are. I listened to a little bit of this one in the past because I was only able to find a sample of it on audible, and I wasn't impressed lol. but these things are sort of my guilty pleasure, and they're fun to talk about. big thanks to @questor-thews for sending me the file and taking the fall so that I didn't have to spend money on this one. as usual, I'll be reblogging onto this post with my reactions as I listen to it.
