Mutualism (blaseball, nagomi nava & passenger) - Nagomi had a dozen different stories as to how Passenger ended up on the side of her face.

Flame to Sun to Shadows (blaseball, kaj satter jr.) - In the middle of Kaj’s first game playing for the Hellmouth Sunbeams, xe was having an absolute blast.

Nagomi, Nagomi and Nagomi (blaseball, nagomi nava, nagomi meng & nagomi mcdaniel, chatfic lmao) -  Nagomi Meng added Nagomi Mcdaniel and  Nagomi Nava to the chat

the crabs accumulate 10 - the sun collapses  (blaseball, hellmouth sunbeams post s10 day x) - Season 10 was technically a pretty bad one for the Sunbeams, their worst record yet leading the way to Partytime with the Fridays only to get kicked out by a Wildcard draw, and then promptly getting booted out of the playoffs by the Crabs.

Finding Family (a crown of candy, AU) - It was four years after the Ravening War ended before Princess Sapphria set out to the Dairy Islands to find Catherine Ghee.

Girl’s Day Out (fantasy high, the seven maidens + ladies of the bad kids + aelwyn) - “Twenty minutes, everyone!” Miss Jones called out from the front of the bus, sending an excited murmur through all the students that were actually paying attention. 

The Curse of Precognition  (blaseball, precog trio) It was Season 5, Day 88. 

Two Steps to the Left (fantasy high, class swap AU, i never finished it oops) Elmville was a town like no other, and Solace was a country that by all accounts should not be able to exist, bordered by dragons and monsters and all manner of magical mysteries.

A Queen, Not a Sister (a crown of candy, ruby & saccharina) On the day of Saccharina’s official presentation as Queen of Candia, exactly one week after the last Ceresian soldier had been chased beyond their borders, Ruby stood next to her father and watched her half-sister give a speech to the people from the steps of Castle Candy, rubble at her feet.

i really like a little bit of establishing timelines and positions in space with my opening lines dont i sfdgsgfsfgd probably because so many of my favourite works have massive sprawling timelines lmaooooo
