EXTREMELY good news for you about the remaster tho: it's better than the original in every way but one--it's a Lot less close to being finished. however, i will say, unequivocally, the remaster fucks massive. there's even an entire new arc! check it out! and then let us know what you think ;) ;) ;)

(especially the new umbraroot arc!!! know that every part of that arc makes me chew on the bars on my enclosure)

Oooooooooh, well, I have a few ideas, but not much in terms of, like, specific plot stuff:

If I Had A Nickel For Every Time I Watched An Actual Play Group's First Online Campaign Where The Goth Elf Ends Up A Champion Of The Raven Queen, I'd Have Two Nickels - Which Isn't A Lot, But It's Weird That It's Happened Twice. (and by that I mean I would love for Arrnodel and Vax to meet.) EDIT: also a Two Nickels moment with Arrnodel and Fjord both being unwitting warlocks in pacts with a fuck-off giant snake patron and then end up changing patrons as a major part of their character arc.

Just... the insanity (and destruction) that would happen as a result of the Fate Maidens meeting The Mighty Nein, given that one of the M9's bffs is a Drow, and. Y'know. Everything with Kara.

Building off of this - adding Valerius and/or Gidget to Caleb and Essek and Veth's magic experiments and Wizard Hubris™.

I've only watched one episode of Favour so far, but I know for a fact that Aoife and Fearne would adore each other. Also maybe low-key distant relatives? 👀👀👀

(Okay full disclosure this is just me taking my faves from each campaign and smooshing them together) But like I think that Keyleth and Sawyeh would have so much to talk about?? Like both of them being the youngest in their respective groups and having these expectations placed on their shoulders, and their respective elemental ties and how they feel about using those powers and their relationships with each particular element (Sawyeh generally being more drawn to fire on her own and water because of Persana [I still don't know how to spell the water elemental's name lol], and Keyleth being drawn more to air and earth [plus fire when she's pissed]). Plus throw Caduceus into the mix for some tea and meditation and growing up in an isolated religious/spiritual centre, and.... I'm gonna cut myself off here. 😅

HANG ON I JUST THOUGHT OF. PARALLELS. Rem/Isolde vs Allura/Kima???? Powerful WLW political leaders who are supporters of the party, one of whom is stabby and take-action and the other is a spell-caster and more cautious???? Is this something???? (I vote yes 🖤❤️🤍 💙💛🤎)

Okay, normally I don't care whats canon in the name of a good scenario or AU or story in general but let's canonically poke a hole in this idea for a hot minute:

I think as a fandom we all agree that Hiro fucked up during the Betsumon incident, but in complete fairness that was Betsumon's specific schtick. It wasn't like there was two Gammamon and Hiro picked wrong. Betsu appeared as Gamma and Gamma appeared as some unknown digimon and it took seeing "Gammamon" getting completely out-eaten by another mon to break the illusion. Gulu's Schtick is kill and eat. He is not an actor. He had ONE job in an attempt at staying the dominant personality and that was stall Hiro by like.. a minute and he fucked up immediately not once but 3 times in the same conversation. If he had just fucked up the once and not again Hiro MIGHT have believed it was Gamma but he fucked up two more times in the same 15 seconds. Do you think there is any way shape or form that if Gulus was put in the position to control the body for any longer than 5 seconds that Hiro wouldn't notice something amiss before sundown?

Gulus would either have to pretend a digimon stole his voice and keep his piehole shut or Hiro would have to be put in a coma while Gulus struggles to keep him alive and keep Ruli and Kiyoshiro from finding out about it in order to not get outed too quickly.

just love hearing kieran culkin talk about succession/roman because he always talks about, like, the process of it and it’s so interesting — the scenes that are kept, the scenes that are taken out, the choices writers made he didn’t agree with, the choices he made that the writers (originally) didn’t agree with…. always really hammers in not only how collaborative the show is in that input from the actors is taken very seriously but also just how much culkin cares about roman like as a character? which i mean ya know all actors do. but culkin always talks about being a fan of the show first and an actor in it second and i think that’s such a huge thing. like, the way he cares about roman isn’t just as the actor playing him, it’s as a fan of the show — he’s approaching it not just from, like, a This Is My Job angle but also from the perspective of a fan who is just genuinely invested in the character of roman and would feel frustrated if they saw him do something that didn’t feel in-line with his character! kc would hate tumblr just like he hates all social media but he would indeed kill it on here

#i specifically love it bc that’s the exact way i am as an actor. i’m not a bitch to directors bc ultimately it is their project but if my #character does something that just feels unlike them then i say something #which maybe feels obvious but idk in my experience i’m usually one of the only actors to kind of approach it from that kind of angle idk #and to each their own!!! i just get invested in my roles and it feels like a betrayal when i’m made to do something they wouldn’t do like i #just feels Wrong #and i’ve never really heard any professional tv etc actor openly talk ab doing the same thing #like it’s always just oh the directors/writers are great they give lots of lee way but i do what they say etc etc etc but kc’s answers r so #interesting and just really emphasize how like. invested he is in roman. in the same way so many of us losers are #idk not working this well i’m tired #succession #kieran culkin #and also like. how he openly admits when he was making the wrong choice and realized it eventually and it played better doing #it a different way! idk. i just feel like i never see actors talking this candidly about how episodes are actually MADE #like you never hear about the arguments offscreen about what a character should or should not do #but it's so fucking interesting like i could listen to him talk about it all day and night!!!! i wanna know more!!!

The Descent is top tier horror movie, love the cramped, dark, sketchy creature spaces sooooo much. May be tied with Alien for my favorite.

oh man GENUINELY it's one of my absolute favorites. it's got everything: cool monster designs, scary shots of them in the background, an ensemble cast you can actually root for, and the innate horror of Being Underground and the specific horror of Being Underground Crawling On Your Belly With Tons Of Earth Upon You But Flesh Eating Creatures Hunting You And Nowhere To Go But Forward.

I cannot believe that I have written something that brings someone comfort, more so because honestly, I had never expected it to become such a deep work. I hadn't ever written really before 2021 and even then it was very quiet. Hell, I write fic because I've never thought anything original was worth merit--i'm still learning!
