Naruto Gaiden Episode 5

If only I had a dollar every time Shin says he wants to carry out Itachi’s will and revive akatsuki, and the winner of most boring misguided villain and also a broken record of a villain goes to Uchiha Shin I think at this point Kaguya is a deep and complex character compared to him.

Maybe the only thing I liked in gaiden’s anime arc is the added battle between Sakura and Shin but then again for this to work everyone needed to be nerfed hard, even Sakura herself isn’t using her abilities properly, like she lands a headbutt on Shin but it is only does minimal damage like she hits him with a comic relief or something, if it was a real headbutt as in using her chakra control to her forehead and releasing a tremendous force then Shin would of been left unconscious, broken skull or dead, also what was the point of using Kunai in this battle she doesn’t need it with her abilities and why would Shin even risk a hand to hand combat with someone that almost killed him with one punch, and most importantly why isn’t she using creation rebirth which would of made it much easier for her and prevent her later injury sigh whatever at least we had a flashy cool animation fight, logic be damned.

I can’t believe Sasuke was actually gonna cut off this kid’s head (clone or not) like whoa dark much, anyone that thinks this is in character for Sasuke is deluding themselves, the only time Sasuke would go this far is when he was effected by the cursed seal or when he went into darkness, but a redeemed Sasuke doing this is really not okay by any standards.

Sasuke’s healing capabilities continue to impress getting stabbed in the heart but he later he acts as if it didn’t even happen, but the question is since when does Sasuke has such a potent self healing ability, I don’t think it’s one of the rinnegan powers is it what Kabuto did to him? or it’s just some bullshit but it does show the nerf element in full effect, there is no way Sasuke couldn’t of dodged this, his MS and Rinnegan were both activated and he he missed Shin attack coming please enough with the bad writing SP.

Sakura for an instant breaks the whole Sakura Uchiha persona and returns to team 7 days with a good old Sasuke-kun well I guess she is no better than Hinata when it comes to getting rid of suffixes that create a distance between her and her husband, well at least we know she remembers his name considering she doesn’t remember if he ever wore glasses I was getting worried there.

Sakura faints again, I see they haven’t forgot her ridiculous new trait

Sasuke telling his daughter that he is connected to Sakura because she exists so if she didn’t exist he and Sakura wouldn’t be connected?, as in she is the only thing that connects them but it’s interesting is that you don’t have to love someone to be connected to them as it is said bonds come in many forms.

Such a great idea let the unstable murderous criminal raise an army of sharingan wielding kids, did I mention what a great hokage Naruto is.

What did Sakura been telling Sarada to get this reaction with Ino, like Ino is married, why would it even bother Sarada or Sakura for that matter for Ino saying hello to Sasuke, maybe it’s because a woman can never truly get over her first love or some silly Kishimoto logic so Ino is still a threat to Sakura even now talk about lack of confidence in herself and Sasuke.

Why? When? Where? does Karin have the proper training for delivering children? why she is keeping the umbilical cord that belongs to Sakura and Sarada? would Karin even tell the truth to Suigetsu of all people?. it’s amazing how much of the vagueness could of been resolved with a simple flashback here.

also the focus on her changed demeanor especially the sadness in her eyes when Suigetsu asks if she is truly over Sasuke, tells that things may not be what they seem, and it’s clear there are things she is hiding about her feelings and maybe about Sarada as well.

Bonus:

Sakura: “please danna sama, dear give me some affection”

Sasuke [screams internally]

Sasuke: alright I”m out of here, now we see how their dates are only 2.5 minutes long.

and this is how the sss family is truly remembered at the end of Gaiden and not by that manga last image of a family picture that is just a fake representation of their real family dynamics.
