I loved both installments of What We Do and hope that there's more to come, especially as I've now read the first two chapters twice :D A little question I had both times was if Madge requested the toasting cake be decorated that way or if Peeta still thought it was for Katniss when he started. When you first described it, I thought that it sounded tailor-made for her. Just curious.

Hi there! Sorry it’s taken so long to get to this. First off, thank you so much for sending such a sweet message!  It came at a time when I kind of needed it. It’s also beyond flattering to hear that you’ve read both installments more than once.

About the toasting cake, it’s funny that you should ask that. Awhile back I started writing part of Sunday Light in Peeta’s POV, and that very thing was addressed. I should really finish that up and post it in the near future. But to answer your question, the cake’s decorations were definitely designed for Leevy, though you can see how Peeta might be misled.
