While the rutting and birthing seasons are considered best for deer photography, we decided to pick February as our month to enjoy them this year in the parks around us. The storms begin to cease, the wind is lighter, sunshine time increased and the smell of fresh grass bring calmness to these beauties. It’s safer to get close to them unlike the rutting and birthing seasons. But it is always advisable to keep the dogs away from them at all times.
