What would Mario do if ever an event where to occur where he finds one of Luigi's abandoned and or forced to leave situation and comes into his old room and sees recordings of Mario and Luigi just logging himself cause he's bored.
I hope I'm reading this right, (apologies if I'm not) there's not really going to be evidence of him living in a previous/abandoned living setup as I am having him live in Subcon. It's going to be one of the Dream Realms and only those from that realm know how to get to it.
There will be evidence of him around the world from his misadventures, and Mario would be incredibly excited to find any evidence of his brother.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Luigi on the other hand would be panicking. Listen, he has a 12-step plan to befriend his brother first as Mr. L and those pieces of evidence are screwing that plan up.

I headcanon that if wild touches Twilights pendant he would turn into an adorable little snow fox or possibly a puppy. Has wild ever touched Twilights pendant and if so what happened? Actually i want to know what you guys think each other would turn into with Twilights pendant!
Twilight: He'd probably turn into some kind of coyote.
Wild: What's a coyote?
Twilight: Imagine a mix between a fox and wolf. Sneaky little buggers that are smart, adventurous, and love scroungin' around for things.
Wild: Oh, that does sound like me!

Are any of the Criptid boys related? (Love your Au and really want to know if twi and time are related)
Hello!
Yes, Twilight and Time are blood related! Twilight’s ability to shift comes straight from the God blood (however watered down it may be) that he’s inherited. Twilight is not aware of this, but Time is! Time knows a lot haha.
Other than that, no one else is related to each other. At least, not by blood. We could get really deep into this and I could explain how all of them possess Sky’s spirit. They are all, at their core, Sky. (Except for Wind and Wild). But that’s brain hurt and not what you asked haha!
I SWEAR I’m working on getting Time’s origin posted, and that will explain a lot I think. He is a literal God with the knowledge of the universe and a fear of feathered men haha.

How about Wild showing a curious member of the chain some torture/interrogation resistance he was taught in Hyrule’s army? Asking for some more lighthearted whump.
Wild smacked his fist into his palm. "Wait, I actually remembered something fun this time!"
Sky, Twilight, and Legend glanced at him curiously from where they were lounging in the den.
"Okay, so back in the war there was this one drug--I can't remember what it's called--but it basically made you drunk and loose lipped and stuff," Wild explained hastily. "And the way we were taught--I think, I don't remember the training that well--but anyway, the point--the point is that the way we were taught was to basically just take a question and flip it."
"Wait, wait, wait," Legend interrupted, dropping his book onto his lap. "You're excited because you remembered a torture technique?"
"Told you he needs therapy," Twilight muttered as Sky snorted back a laugh.
"It can't be that bad if he's excited," Sky whispered before prompting their friend, "Go on, Wild."
"Exactly what Sky said, it's funny!" Wild emphasized. "Anyway! So this one guy was like tell us... tell us something. I don't rememeber what he was asking about--"
"Wait, he remembered being interrogated and tortured?" Legend hissed to the other two while Wild babbled.
The other two remained uncomfortably quiet, listening with unease.
"And so he finished his question and was all glaring and doing the bad cop vibe and I just said I hate bananas and when I tell you he went apeshit--"
"He has issues," Twilight sighed heavily.
"Agreed," Legend chimed in.
Sky just smiled. "Annoying them is always the best technique."
Wild laughed. "His face was so red! I'm glad you get it."
Legend gawked at the pilot. "Sky, what the hell. This isn't okay!"
Sky just glanced at his friend and cocked his head to the side, as if to a child who didn't know any better.

If the portals in Minish Cap make Hylians Minish-sized, then if a fairy uses a portal, does that make them even smaller? Like, if a Minish is 10% the size of a Hylian, then does that mean a fairy will go through the portal and come out 10% the size of a normal fairy?
This is assuming that fairies can even use portals, but if this is set in Linked Universe... If Hyrule goes through and then uses his fairy spell after the portal, will he shrink even smaller or stay the same size?
I know this is hypothetical and likely doesn't have a canon answer, but I need your thoughts on this.
First off: important to note that it's not the portal ITSELF that does the shrinking, it's Ezlo (Four's Minish Cap companion) casting a spell while near/above a portal. So for Four to use portals in Linked Universe, either you say that Ezlo taught him the spell, or you say he's using a separate item from Four Swords called the Gnat Hat, which does something similar (or you just do whatever you want of course, but I'm trying to answer re game canon). So in terms of Hyrule going through a Minish portal, the key thing to ask is whether magic is involved.
Assuming it is, there's actually a canonical answer to the first half of your question at least: when Four goes through a portal in game, all of his items shrink with him, and that includes any fairies he's holding. It also obviously includes Ezlo. So as long as fairy Hyrule was "in range" of the spell, I think he'd shrink. If he was out of range, i.e. not affected by the spell, then he'd stay his normal size - because the portal doesn't do anything by itself.
If he went through the portal as a Hylian and THEN transformed, I also think he'd shrink, because tiny Four still operates the same as big Four in terms of abilities and items, so Hyrule would surely be similar. It doesn't make sense for his spell to operate differently.
UNLESS.
See, aside from Ezlo (who is already transformed by the start of the game) the Zelda games don't really cover how transformation magic interacts with Minish magic, because it never comes up. If you felt like playing around with that a bit, you could say that the Minish shrinking spell or portal influences Hyrule's magic in some way, like making him accidentally transform into a fairy while trying to go through as a Hylian. That isn't canon, but also isn't beyond all imagination. And it might be fun.
Canon-ish answer however is that Hyrule going through a portal operates exactly the same as Four going through a portal: tiny fairy on entry equals tiniER fairy on exit.
Hope that helps!

okay so in Links crossbow training your crossbow acts like an automatic machine gun. It doesn't need to reload either. SO question, does Twi use it as an infinite arrow supply for him and the chain? Also just like the fact that they made it because they really wanted to give tp link a gun.

Do you ever get this sudden fear that you're dying really slowly, but you're less afraid of the dying part than the fact that you wouldn't know? Sometimes I wonder if my life right now is just memories. I don't like this old wallpaper, I think I need something new.
Reblogs are super appreciated!! tysm! :]

Thinking about time travel and all the secrets Lu Guang is keeping. And how long he's been keeping them.
Tumblr media
And also what his limitations are... because I don't think he knows as much as he thinks he knows.
I've got a lot of thoughts and a lot of questions. I tried to organize them in the hopes to maybe work out some ideas, but it got a bit... Much. Weigh in if you have thoughts because...I'm clearly vibrating in place wanting to talk about this. But anyway, here we go.
Tumblr media
How is the present affected by future dives into the past? (Alternate timelines or pre-determined track)
This section is basically me asking a lot of questions that might just be writing holes or maybe not and we just don't find out for, like, 6 years. And that's fine. I'm here for it, I just need to sort out all these theories in my head.
In S1E9, LG looks into the surveillance photo and sees CXS on the solo dive. Is this because CXS was currently in the photo? Is it because CXS had already done the solo dive and so LG was seeing the affected photo? Is it because CXS was always going to go into the photo, so LG saw the past that always was going to be?
When Liu Min called from Xu Shanshan's phone, was it because CXS was always going to set up the meeting? What if CXS hadn't come to that conclusion and didn't reveal himself in Shanshan's body? Would the call have never happened? Does Lu Guang allow this huge "deviation" because he saw it was supposed to happen? Did he lie about what he saw in the photo? Was his elevated concern in that moment he claimed was about CXS's potential mental state while of going into his friend's potentially dying body actually about CXS starting the game? Is he just as clueless as everyone else and now everything is spiralling?
Tumblr media
Chen Xiao. Chen Xiao, Chen Xiao. Oh man. "Nothing will be affected" my ass Lu Guang. Pretty sure you created an entire person that didn't previously exist from that mission. Sure, all the people that were supposed to die in the earthquake died, but Chen Xiao did NOT have a wedding ring on when he came to the photoshop to hire them. He was a miserable man with regrets he couldn't move past, including missing his "first love." Now, I get that first loves have a lot of weight, but he's like 30+ and so desperate... this is not a man who looks at his wedding ring with care and sings his son to sleep. But he becomes that. Where did that child come from?!?
Tumblr media
Just because the 12 hours after the photo are the same doesn't mean that the 12 years after it are. Lingering resentment--or the lack thereof-- is a strong shaping force. Also. Chen Xiao's lack of regrets from a successful mission means that he never would have hired them to dive in the first place. So to make it full circle, Chen Xiao "returns" to the photo shop (for the first time?) to have CXS develop the photos he took himself on the camera he saved from the wreckage...And, I have to assume from the implication of a new timeline, THAT is how they get paid for the job. How much are they charging to develop film? Was it worth it??
Does LG even know about this kind of change? Is it just too far out of his range to see? He didn't seem to know about Emma until he saw the news, so maybe he's limited in what he can see, but he found that article pretty fast, so maybe he knew something was happening. It's hard to know.
What are the extent of LG's powers? Is he from the future?
He always says not to ask about the "past or future." I assumed this meant the future of the past that CXS was currently in, but what if he also means the future of the present that we're currently seeing? Can he see the future of the present he's in now?
In season 1, he knew that CXS would appear as himself when he dove into the surveillance camera footage. How? It was obviously CXS's first time doing that, but maybe not LG's. If it was his first time, how did he know?
We recently learned that he can see the present through surveillance footage the same way he does looking at footage of the past. Does this mean he can also see 12 hours into the future? It's 20:44 when LG unlocks Chen Bin's phone, so it's probably around 21:00 when he uses his powers. Does he know how things will unfold? Does he see the twins moving through the building? Does he realize there are two of them?
Tumblr media
He's obviously been up to something this whole season: watching the clock, hiding photos, opening up stitches without much physical effort beyond using his powers... 🤔
My current crack theory is that LG reopening his stitches while using his powers to watch the fight is actually related to him escaping and/or jumping off the boat to free CXS. I'm not sure how because it's definitely more than 12 hours between the events, but something is up.
It's not surprising to me that CXS and Wang Juan were controlled through touch. The moment Li Tianxi reached out her hand to shake CXS's I yelled at my TV. It looked too similar to LG reaching out to start a dive.
Tumblr media
And I yelled even louder when she made contact
Tumblr media
CXS can dive on his own and LG can see into a photo on his own. The physical touch only connects their minds, it's not necessary to activate the powers. Could LG touch CXS and communicate telepathically without diving into a photo if they had an activation touch? Does LJ need a time travel element to get into CXS's head?
I think Li Tianchen's powers at least are touch related because when he touched Xixi, CXS lost his connection with LG. But I think there may be something else going on with the twins. I'm just not sure what I think yet. We wouldn't know if one was possessing the other because their eyes are the same.
How do the powers manifest, and what does that mean for Lu Guang's backstory?
I think we saw the moment when Li Tianxi and/or Li Tianchen acquire powers. Was it a predisposition that unlocked during a highly traumatic moment or did it just manifest somehow from an extreme desire to take control of the situation?
Li Tianxi was a child who wanted to communicate and be present but felt trapped in her over stimulated body. Li Tianchen was a boy with strong ideals and a sense of protectiveness... without the strength of an adult body to follow through with that protection. While they were holding the photo, huddled together in close physical contact after Tianchen's head injury, one of them or the combined force of them was able to 1.) take over their mother's body and 2.) blank out Xixi's mind to the point of cutting CXS's connection with LG and eventually the whole photo. But something went very wrong along the way. Maybe some signals were crossed.
CXS is a highly empathetic person. He feels so much for everyone and wants to connect with people emotionally. And his powers reflect that. We know CXS has probably at some point had a strong enough desire to go back in time, if anything to see his parents.
What, then, do the circumstances look like for a logical, emotionally reserved--but deeply caring--person to acquire powers to see snapshots of the past? What would drive him to want to change the past so much that he manifests these powers?
Tumblr media
We know CXS had never done a dive without LG before he temporarily went rogue in S1E9... because he didn't know he could do it until he tried.
We know S1E1 isn't the first time they dive. CXS nags LG about having heard the rules a hyperbolic amount of times. So the powers aren't new at this point. But I don't think they both had powers before they met. So how and when did they get their powers? Was it when they met? When they travelled abroad? After some accident or something?
LG just shows up in CXS's life unannounced. Twice. And that's how they got close. Was it just the random fated meeting of soulmates as per fiction standards or did LG intentionally seek out CXS for more timey-wimey reasons? Did meeting LG activate CXS's powers? Did they experience something together to have compatible abilities? Did LG already have his and teach CXS how to manifest his own? How much did LG already know before he picked up that basketball?
Tumblr media
I have this other crack theory that I absolutely hate and don't want to be true at all and almost certainly isn't, but, like...what if if LG and CXS are actually the same person from different timelines. Like LG is a version of CXS that doesn't get to have familial love and maybe experiences too much trauma, and he goes back in time to give himself some semblance of a home and a set of rules to hone his powers without altering the timeline that he's actively changing. They're intentionally written to be two halves of a whole, and there's been more than one joke made about LG being a ghost or not existing. I hate it. But it's in my head.
One last question for today... because I have to wonder:
Who makes the rules?
Has LG just read enough books to feel knowledgeable about how time travel works? Is he from the future trying to maintain a desired outcome? Are they following the rules of a third party who's orchestrating the flow of events from a distance? Are they... Leaving their fates to the ones who aren't in control?

Can you do more of the Lu Ten back from the dead AU?
That describes more than one AU of mine, so I have chosen the one where Zuko is brainwashed by the Dai Li, and while under Lake Laogai, finds his cousin. Continued from: [Link], [Link], [Link], [Link], [Link], [Link], [Link], [Link], [Link], [Link], [Link], [Link], and [Link].
Aang wakes up, with, what must be said, is perfect, and perfectly awful, timing. Lu Ten is just about to make his escape, when the Avatar opens his eyes and starts having a freak out about being on a Fire Nation ship, and about how he failed to save Ba Sing Se from being conquered by Azula (Azula? His little cousin, Azula? That Azula? Conquered Ba Sing Se?) So of course Lu Ten does what all good little Fire Princes do, and tries to follow him, because that's the Avatar! He should capture him and take him home to the Fire Nation, and come out of his captivity covered in glory! His father and grandfather will be so proud.
So of course when Aang ends up stuck on some driftwood and washed ashore by the kindly Moon Spirit, Lu Ten ends up washed up, half drowned, on the beach with him. And he's still half drowned and wondering if he really saw the Moon Spirit, or just hallucinated that bit, when the Avatar's friends show up. After the hugs and reassurances, the question quickly becomes what to do with Lu Ten. The problem of course is several fold. 1) he is a danger, because he just tried to pull a Zuko and kidnap Aang. 2) He was pretty useless about it. Zuko could have done better in his sleep. This shows that Lu Ten is still kind if not fully with it, and kind of needs to be taken care of. 3) And Lu Ten's dad is in prison for helping them-
Wait what? His dad is in prison for helping the Avatar and a bunch of teenage enemies of the Fire Nation? His cousin Azula, who last he checked was eight, conquered Ba Sing Se? His cousin Zuko, who is ten, which is, he supposes, not much younger than the twelve year old Avatar, but still ("I'm pretty sure I'm thirteen now, actually, I mean dates are weird with the whole being frozen for a hundred years thing, but...") is not only trying to kidnap the Avatar on the regular, but is apparently doing pretty well at it ("uh, we wouldn't go that far... Also Zuko's sixteen, and Azula's like, fourteen, we think? It's not like she told us.") Oh okay, Zuko is sixteen. He was captive for six years? Six years? Oh. Oh okay. Okay. Wait, who had his dad imprisoned? What do you mean Firelord Ozai? How did Uncle Ozai become firelord if his dad is still alive?
What the Avatar and his companions tell him is confused and disjointed, but what what explaination he does get paints a bleak picture, especially when they tell him that both his father and his cousin said that Ozai, and/or Azula would probably kill him if they found out he was alive. Lu Ten has no idea what to do, and finds himself trailing along after a bunch of teenagers ("Toph's twelve") by default. And when one of those teenagers ends up being dragged off to school, and then getting in trouble at said school, and having to have a parent teacher conference, Lu Ten is the only adult in reach. He works out in his head how much older he would be than his supposed son. If the Avatar is thirteen, and Zuko is sixteen, and Zuko was born when LunTen was ten, he would have been a father at thirteen himself.
Fortunately for everyone involved, six (it's six, right? Wow.) years of captivity have aged Lu Ten beyond what is expected, and he looks far beyond his twenty-six years, old enough to pass as Aang's father. He does his best with stolen clothes and his reflection in a pool of water in the cave they've been hiding in. The Dai Li kept his head shaved, and it's only had a little time to grow out into a spiky fuzz all over his head. He looks like a disgrace, his topknot shorn, the delinquent father of a delinquent son. But it's the best he can do. He isn't exactly surprised when the principal threatens his "son" with being sent to the coal mines. He also doesn't believe a word of it.
After Aang holds his little dance party, amd they all have to run out of town, he finds himself on the road with a pack of children, and is baffled by how many "adventures they find themselves in, impersonating spirits (a Fire Nation town shouldn't be in this kind of squallor!), getting taught by Piandao (who Lu Ten stays well away from, since Piandao could recognize him), dodging assassins, and running into secret waterbending blood witches. That last one was horrifying in so many different ways. She wanted... She tried to kill him. She tried to force the others to kill him. She... Was, at least on some level, a captive like him.
And at the end of it all, when they meet up with the ragtag "army" heading to storm the Fire Nation capital, he hears about the eclipse. And he decides that while the rest of them are trying to take on Ozai, he's going to spring his father. So, he slips away during the fighting and heads for the capital prison tower. Hopefully that's where his father is being kept. And Lu Ten might not have Zuko's ability to break into and out of almost anything, but it hardly matters, because he has barely made it inside when his father, having broken himself out, runs into him, and they leave together.
All this means is that when Zuko (who never did tell anybody about his cousin being alive, which is going to make his tearful reunion with his uncle and cousin a little less awful) shows up to the Western Air Temple, the Gaang is short one Fire Prince. And now they have a new one. Yay! And once he starts to become friends with them, they've got a whole bunch of questions about just what exactly is going on with his family. And yeah, the answers he gives are, well, they are... Wow, Zuko, no wonder you're so messed up!

@savimatteo2810 asked if Saria is Time’s big sister, and yes! She is! All the kokiri from the OoT village are now Time’s older siblings.
After the kokiri became the koroks, a small group of them wanted to go back to living among Hylians again, and eventually they adopted one as their youngest brother. Because of their shift, they’ve still got some plantlike qualities that separate them from Hylians, but they’re closer to Hylians than koroks now.
Tumblr media
Saria was captured after pirate captain Sheik was dropped from the Helmaroc King’s claws. Naturally, Time had to go after her.
Why him, and not one of his older siblings (who, at the time, were older than him physically as well)? Well, Saria was blessed with magic that allowed her and the other kokiri to remain as eternal children despite living somewhere other than the island the Great Deku Tree resides on. Without her, they would die. The island they all live on has absorbed enough of that magic to keep them safe after she was kidnapped, but it’ll fade eventually, and it doesn’t extend very far. Time, a Hylian, doesn’t have to worry about that. Not only does he have to get his sister back, but he has to do fast or the rest of his siblings will perish.
Time wore an eyepatch long before he actually lost his eye, and Saria embroidered little flowers and other cute patterns on them for him!
Tumblr media
He first started wearing it because his big brother Mido said they were cool, and big brothers would never lie about anything, right?
(Time finds out much later with the chain that Mido has, indeed, lied to him about things. As it turns out, horses are not rodents. That was a very embarrassing misconception that the other Links will never let him live down)

I have fallen in love with your fairy Time fics and would love to read more about it. More fics or more ideas about it, anything you want to share would be lovely.
Whether you share anything more or not Thank you for sharing what you have so far. Don't forget to drink some water, and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Aaaahhhh I’M SO GLAD TO HEAR THAT
I waited to answer this cause you made my day and I wanted to give you a ficlet in return but my inspiration has yet to return from the war (alas finals). I do have a handful of fics I’m working on rn I just…can’t seem to finish them. So I’ll offer you some headcanons and thoughts instead!
I have a lot so I’ll just put them under the cut XD
Time’s mother was a fairy who left the forest to explore and fell for a mortal man she met during her travels. Like Hyrule, she could transform into a human whenever she wanted to and vice versa.
Time’s transformation is much like his mother’s. He can change at will. However, if he comes into direct contact with fae magic his body will automatically start to transform. If he doesn’t want this to happen he has to focus on funneling magic away from that particular ability, which is exhausting.
He feels even more comfortable in his fairy form than in his Hylian one. It makes him feel closer to Navi and the Kokiri.
Malon is the first — and for a long time only — person outside of the Kokiri to know Time’s secret. She thinks he’s absolutely adorable in that form…fae mischief and all. She loves her tiny chaos husband
Warriors found out that Time can transform during the war. Time — then Mask — turned into a fairy solely to fly up and tell off the Great Fairy who had the captain trapped in a bottle to her face. Surprisingly, she listened to him and set Warriors free
Time can heal people like most fairies can, but it isn’t his strong suit. While he can mend even severe wounds, it takes a lot of strength and concentration for him to do so. He usually conks out seconds later — something that causes him to only rely on this power as a last resort.
Time’s wings are a cross between the Luna Moth
Tumblr media
And a Crecopia Moth (the largest moth in North America!
Tumblr media
While I imagine Hyrule having powerful but small wings, Time’s are HUGE. And though they’re almost transparent (similar to the Luna Moth), they sport the same false eyes you see on the Crecopia. They freak people out when they look closer
I’m still undecided on the coloring of his wings. In my first fic I described them as green and pink (inspired by the Great Fairy mask from Majora’s Mask and his home in the forest). But now I’m pondering changing that to shades of blue and red FD style (with veins of gold). Idk I like the menacing air that would have.
Last but not least, Sky and Time actually get along better after he finds out Time’s secret (every boy eventually finds out; secrets are bound to get out somehow in a group of nosy heroes XD). He gets to see a side of Time he hasn’t before and Time realizes how deeply he can trust him. (You’ll know why when I write the fic hehe)

Got any legend + ravio headcanons? It’s cool if not lol, just wondering :)
-memory anon
Legend and Ravio? Cryptid au or in general? Hmmmm let’s see!
So I just finished A Link Between Worlds for the first time in December! And it was really, REALLY good, just as I expected it would be! Now, I knew the story of Between Worlds and I knew the characters and everything but it was really fun to play it for myself!
First thing’s first, Ravio is Mer. However, the war that I talked about in a previous post had yet a different ending for Hyrule’s mirrored world. When Lorule’s Triforce was destroyed and its land was corrupted, the Aquili of the realm became corrupted as well. They became monsters, those that were on land, and quickly lost their senses. They attacked everything, not just the Mer, ruthlessly. In Lorule, the Mer lost, but the Aquili didn’t exactly win.
(Remember the Ku from Between Worlds? I’m thinking that instead of Zora, the Ku are Lorule’s Aquili. It’s probably a stretch and the only reason I really thought of it was because they attacked me in the water like a Zora would, and then when I left the water, they chased me and kept attacking me on land. And I just thought “haha like Wind.”)
ANYWAY.
Ravio is the only Mer in Lorule. As far as Legend knows, Ravio is the only Mer left at all. I must clarify that Legend doesn’t know who Ravio is until the very end, so he doesn’t know about hin being Mer, either. Legend’s very used to existing in places where nobody knows what he is, and he wasn’t expecting Lorule to be any different… er, well, they mostly interact in Hyrule anyway.
(This next part can be Cryptid au or just in general)
Ravio and Legend are in love and I don’t know if that’s problematic or not since they’re legitimately mirror copies of each other. HOWEVER. They’re adorable. I think that Ravio continues to call Legend “Mister Hero” while Legend calls him a “little rat.” Ravio is very loving and pretty intense. He never hides his affection, but he does like to tease. Legend is more reserved. He loves Ravio but he’s not very open about it. In his experience, the people that he loves are taken from him, so he tries to distance himself from Ravio. If you were to ask him, they’re just roommates.
If you were to ask Ravio, they’re already husbands.
I like to think that they buy a house together, one that’s a shop on the first floor and an actual house on top. Legend rolls his eyes when he hears Ravio’s voice downstairs, conning a merchant out of their hard earned rupees. For the Cryptid au, they live on the coast where they can access the ocean. In just general headcanons, they live near Kakariko where a bunch of people would be able to access Ravio’s wares.
THEY’RE BOYFRIENDS. And I love them.
I have more to say but I can’t quite organize my thoughts at the moment and this is already too long haha! I will definitely be making a post about Ravio and Hilda and Lorule in the lens of the Cryptid au, just give me some time to think on it some more haha!

List of the questions we had this season
After episode 8, I made a list of questions we had this season (you can find it HERE if you want to check it out) and I figured I would return to it at the end of it to see if they did answer and.... I'm going to break it down and see what questions are left to answer after season 2
Here are the list of questions we had after episode 8 and how they answered them:
Who gave Lu Guang the photo and wrote “save my good brother” in childish letters ?
Li Tianxi wrote "save my good brother" and Li TIanchen gave the photo to Lu Guang.
How does Red eye’s power work ? Is there more than one person being Red eyes ?
Red eyes was mostly Li Tianchen with Li Tianxi's help. Li Tianxi can see a person's memories and feeling through photo and Li Tianchen can control them by touch, if they work together, they can control someone through photos in the present, they can't go back in time like Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang though.
Does Li Tianxi has powers ?
Yes, she did.
Who killed Liu Lan, who was possessing her when she finally defended herself and what happened before the end of the night ?
We got so much answers in the last episode. The husband killed her by stabbing her and she was possesed by LI Tianchen because he wanted her to defend herself, making the whole thing even more tragic.
What is the end of the fox story and what is the significance of said fox story for the plot ?
Well... The fox story was just Li Tianchen and Li Tianxi's story so technically it only ended for one of them, "she returned home" by dying (we think ? is she confirmed dead ?)
What happened during the investigation of his wife’s murder to make Qian Jin so resentful and so okay with killing his ex-colleagues ?
I was so sure this was going somewhere. turn out I asked the wrong question. The question I should have asked was, what happened to his wife ? He killed her after he assumed she was cheating because this guy was genuinely the worst and he was okay with killing his ex-colleagues because he is just awful.
Who is the unnamed friend ?
Hat guy, Yay.
Which leads me to who is hat guy ?
Liu Xiao, Liu Min's younger brother.
What was the vision of Cheng Xiaoshi dying in Lu Guang’s arms ?
Well... We had that answered.
Lu Guang is from the future and is actively trying to change it and that was his memories (or did change it and is now living in the changed present, a bit unclear ?)
All of this options means another question, what are Lu Guang’s power actually ?
That we don't really have the answer. He clearly had, at some point, Cheng Xiaoshi's powers but considering we think Qiao Ling just got Li Tianxi's power after she died, it is pretty likely that the original power belonged to Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang got them after he got shot and died in the first timeline and his original power where seeing 12 hours in the past with a photo.
What else is he hiding from us and Cheng Xiaoshi ?
Well.. a lot, see above answer. Let's just say he is a teeni tiny bit of an hypocrite who couldn't deal with Cheng Xiaoshi's death and went back in time to save him.
Who saved Cheng Xiaoshi the first time ?
Who knows ? Not that important in the grand scheme of things actually. I think now it was always Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang's intent was to always sacrifice himself anyway.
Was the phone and the photo for Cheng Xiaoshi or was it a way for Lu Guang to see what happen in the next 12 hours (or both) ?
I think it was for Cheng Xiaoshi, Not really answered though.
Are the numbers of the code significant ?
They are. The time and date of Cheng Xiaoshi's death. Lu Guang really is out there torturing himself by putting that on his phone so that he can see it everyday.
What are the significance of the other objects in the opening ?
The gun was both a foreshadowing of the last episode and it is what killed Cheng Xiaoshi in the first timeline.
The diary... I don't really know, maybe I'm forgetting something.
What is the significance of the entire opening actually ?
Well...foreshadowing that big twist at the end of episode 12.
Leftover question from season 1
What happened to Cheng Xiaoshi’s parents ?
We still don't know
What happened during that summer vacation ? Can we have more information on this ?
Well that's not answered yet but considering the date on the phone was in early (ish) september, it is possible this is when Cheng Xiaoshi died the first time.
Here is some unanswered questions left after episode 12:
How, when, where Cheng Xiaoshi died and who killed him in the first place ?
It was hat man in the study with the chandelier. I think it's been pretty much confirmed that he was killed with a gun and I think he died during the summer vacation (but that's just a theory as far as we know) and we have no idea who killed him in the first place and why.
Did Lu Guang save Cheng Xiaoshi from death several times ?
I got the impression he did it once and just continued living with him in that reality but timeline shenanigans could still be at play here.
How will Cheng Xiaoshi react to the twist ?
Probably very badly.I hate to say this. I have a bad feeling that would make him very furious (I mean that's fair I think) and he might get dangerously reckless/sacrificial ? (how do you deal with living a life you were never supposed to be living because you are supposed to be dead)
Did Qiao Ling actually get Li Tianxi's powers ?
I want her to get them. I think she did.
Is Qiao Ling going to be the one figuring out what Lu Guang's vision is and what she saw ?
Yes more proactive Qiao Ling. Gimme it.
Is Li Tianxi even dead ?
I mean she was shot and looked pretty dead to me but they didn't really confirm it.
What does Hat man want (I know he has a name but hat man is funnier) ?
Is he going to target Cheng Xiaoshi because he is supposed to be dead ? Is this what happening ?
And the biggest mystery of them all...How did Xiao Li get a promotion when he is terrible at his job and one of the civilian who was under his supervision got killed under his watch and two others got kidnapped, tortured and/or shot ?
Like How ?

“Okay, but why is it called a Thunder Spell when what you’re actually casting is lightning?
“I dunno, it makes thunder too, I guess?”
“Guys, it’s after midnight, go to sleep.”
