ok first i like his dress thing. it's pretty and the lines look like vines and the hem is nice

it also looks like he's wearing his toga?? on top of some pants and a long sleeve shirt? which probably was too basic for him so he added some ~pizzazz~

BUT

the toga only covered one shoulder and he can't show scandalous collarbones so he added a feathered shoulder pad. fashion.

the poncho is weird. i don't like it, but it does suit him. i get the feeling that the brooch has some significance tho. like it has lara's ashes in it or smthn.

i wanna know how long the poncho is. i cant find anything but i think it's very long so he can swoosh it when he leaves a room

the fingerless gloves are saying victorian plebeian but the rest of him is saying mystical scholar who loves layering

this is another one where we gotta talk about the belt situation: first one of those early 2000s hip belts, and on top of that he has the iorveth style blanket belt (which i very much support), and then he has another belt on top of it. plus a rope? cause he's kinky ig? and not one but two fanny packs

i know i always talk about pockets and carrying shit but i feel like this can't be the right way to accomplish that

i do like the metal arm warmers tho

style is a 6/10, the fanny packs, feather thing, and gloves are very odd. practicality gets a solid 11/10, i appreciate being able to carry stuff and there's always a blanket belt bonus. execution is 12/10, he knows what he's wearing and he wears it like it looks good. confidence is key ig

For the AU trope thing, how about a post-apocalyptic survivors AU? I don't know if that's a thing but I think it would be very cool

Hmm, I don’t often do post-apocalyptic scenarios, but Witcher 3 set one up pretty perfectly. So, imagine the White Frost wasn’t stopped and began to consume the continent. Thousands die, but a few random people manage to survive. But the once temperate climates of the north are now frozen wastelands, so the survivors begin to make their way south. They don’t know if anyone down in Nilfgaard survived, but at least it might be warmer.

This is how Iorveth and Roche run into each other again. The various groups traveling south tend to congregate together. Not because they don’t want to fight each other, but because its too fucking cold to manage alone.

“Fancy meeting you here,” Roche mumbles to Iorveth through frozen lips when he sees the elf.

Iorveth snorts. “Even the end of the world couldn’t kill you. Guess it’s still my job, then.”

I kinda don’t know what else happens in apocalyptic AUs because I admittedly don’t tend to read them (look, reality is depressing enough), but yeah.

okay here's the thing you need to understand about morvran voorhis: he did not have any autonomy for the first 20 odd years of his life

growing up in the imperial palace doesn't leave a lot of room for individuality. sure, he had expensive toys, soft fabrics, and the nicest governesses and most intelligent tutors in the empire, but none of it was his

even after his father died, he couldn't leave because he was getting married off to some girl he'd never even met!

so, by time he had command of the alba division and, by extension, his own life, he got creative

i'm talking a tapestry of his favoured stallion that takes up an entire wall

and a custom plaque of the merchant's guild insignia on the mantle

and a hook right next to his bed to put his medallion

and his own gwent card, framed

and a map of nilfgaard he annotates himself, with markings such as "bastard who stole fire scorpion, cheats with scoia'tael deck", "pretty girl witcher", "annoying witcher", "guild army contact", "actual 25 centimetres, take portal or carriage"

and a desk he never actually uses because it's too orderly and looks too nice to mess up

should all those mismatched patriotic and egotistical things look good together? no, no they should not. but do they?? fuck to the yes! our mans knows the importance of a colour scheme!

when you first walk in his quarters, it looks kind of like most of the others in alba, except with a few extra empty coffee mugs

now, i'm almost exclusively romantically attracted to women, but i would marry voorhis and not just for the money

he definitely has a huge romantic streak that he really loves indulging. buying flowers, writing love letters, all of that, he genuinely enjoys it

yes, he's a busy man, but he makes the little moments count! he definitely bugs assire for a new xenovox like every week because he breaks them so often

morvran voorhis is a massive flirt. i will not be taking questions

i told myself i wouldn't work in my voorhis used to be a sex worker hc in this, but you know what he did and that's important to him!

the flirting is definitely an issue in relationships, especially with people who didn't know him before he was a commander.

Hi! First thing I want to say is I love the content you create and this ask definitely isn't hate (I tried to be as polite as possible but still sorry if this sounds like hate)

I read your post about reblogs and while I (as someone who occasionally creates content too) totally get that reblogs are super important I wanted to ask if you think there are any other ways to show love to creators (like u for example) than reblogging their posts. Don't get me wrong reblogs are nice but interacting "publicly" with someone and the thought that ppl who follow me might see it makes me super uncomfortable (I don't know if any other people have problem with this). I'm (to an extent) comfortable with interacting "privately" like sending ask or leaving a like or comment but for some reasons reblogs are just scary.

i think the getting nervous from reblogs thing is insanely common. like i tell myself that because i get nervous from them and the knowledge that lots of other people do too is comforting.

there are a Lot of ways to make your favourite content creators happy, reblogs are just the most common/talked about. notes in any capacity are appreciated. likes, comments, reblogs, all of it

some creators (myself included) just feel validated seeing a high reblog/notes ratio. i have a shit ton of sideblogs (most have less than 10 followers who i all know personally) where i reblog stuff to drive up that ratio. yes, reblogs are important because circulate content but they are also kind of a superlike that shows the creator you liked their stuff enough to be associated with it, even if it's on a secret side blog that only you and your best friend know about.

but that's just notes! asks are hugely encouraging for me (and probably most other creators tbh). sending in a few numbers for a game, requesting a part of a series, asking a question, or just rambling about how your day was makes me so so happy

for me, interaction isn't really about getting the most people to see what i made. the witcher games is a tiny little fandom, especially when you consider the rarepairs i adore. most people who are interested in what i post have already seen it from the tags or from follows.

interaction is about knowing that people like what i have to say. call me an attention whore, but i love the validation machine that is the internet. reblogs are definitely a way to show me you appreciate what i make, but so are asks, comments, notes, kudos on my fics, and requests.

so, if you get nervous reblogging my content, i understand! i've been in tumblr for 7 years, have been making original content for not even 2 months, and didn't even start interacting with stuff until last year. it's completely okay.

know that just because people talk a lot about reblogs, there are so many other ways to show your favourite creators you appreciate them.
