BUNGO SPOILERS

ok so I have Thoughts.

First of all, the anime going ahead of the manga I have seen before in other fandoms. Sometimes it meant that the plotline had been neatly wrapped up for the anime and the manga would diverge. Take that as you will

Fyodor is not dead. Come on. An arm? I’ve watched anime for too long to think he’s dead without a full body. Not to mention that an arm is particularly suspicious considering Gogol’s ability. Remember when he convincingly cut himself in half? He could very easily have transported Fyodor out of the helicopter and cut off his arm because he knew it’d convince Dazai

Speaking of Gogol, if Fyodor is dead I am robbed of seeing Gogol kill (or at least try to) Fyodor and that isn’t fair. To me.

Chuuya being a fake vampire? Checks out, sounds like some shit Mori would do. Sad we didn’t get to see him act directly in this episode but eh.

Chuuya’s teeth being glued in and him unable to get them out? I have literally had this exact experience trying to glue in vampire teeth for a Halloween costume once. I was picking glue out of my gums for a week it was awful

Tecchou and Kenji being alive? What I expected.

Jouno and Tachihara are still up in the air I guess

Poe’s book. Can it suspend death? Is Fukuzawa somehow not still bleeding out from being stabbed through the heart? Bsd hates medical science. Also does Poe’s book write stuff on command? I thought he had to deliberately write the story which would mean he was working with Fukuchi? I’m confused.

Ranpo being alive and healed? Makes sense but I wanted to see Yosano do it so I knew she was alive.

Akutagawa no longer being a vampire and being alive? THAT’S MY FUCKING BOY! Also his new medieval knight outfit is fucking brilliant and I want him to know it makes him look very sexy

Bram saving Aya. We all knew it but were glad to see it.

Bram having his whole body back when it got mentioned (at least in the manga) that he’d die if the sword was pulled out? I mean I support it but that feels like a plothole

Bram being Aya’s knight? Adorable, I want to see him adopt her. I want the adventures of the weirdly old adult who knows nothing of the modern world and the reckless kid with a good heart and an iphone

Whoever Atsushi and Aku are fighting? Unclear but it looks like it’s holding Fukuchi’s sword so maybe it’s the sword itself? He did say smtg about a legendary sword maker. I’d guess it was Crime and Punishment but it doesn’t look Russian enough

Fyodor’s Hebrew: excellent, we love to see it, last words of Jesus, that’s the good shit. Also irl Fyodor getting out of prison and living a better life vs bsd Fyodor getting out of prison and dying…idk where I was going with this anyway irony

The bullet not piercing the skull trick. Frankly was one of the ideas I thought of, not surprised Dazai’s a fucking cockroach.

Fukuchi’s plan. Naive at best but relatively good intentioned. I’m not ready to like him as a character and probably never will. Killing 500 people, how the hell could he keep it so precise? It’s also an interesting debate about the life of an individual vs the life of the collective, almost a trolley problem thing, curious to see how Fukuzawa decides about it

Not a fan of Fukuzawa crying. If I do not see it, it cannot make me sad

Fukuchi’s plan cont. changing reality with the book is the only way I can think of to make this plan even somewhat feasible. Without it the plan would collapse. Do you know how many wars would be fought just over who controlled One Order? Why can’t the original ability user use it? So many questions

One Order’s design: Soul-Eater-Kishin-ass-looking-thing

Can One Order even still control armies without them under control of the vampire ability? What about the seal on Fukuchi’s wrist that made him control Bram? The sword being coded to Fukuzawa’s voice? How???? There are so many questions around that alone

How does Bram undo the vampirism I want to see it?! Is Aku still injured when he is de-vamped?

Fukuchi said it was a U.N. ordinance about One Order. Is he aware not every country is in the U.N.? Also, if someone manages to launch and nuclear missile before One Order is activated it can’t exactly be deactivated. There are so many issues with this plan it’s like Thanos’

Where is the book???? I want to know????

So Sigma is just dead then? Fuck. And we still don’t get to lean what Fyodor’s ability does

Fyodor having vampire spies among the Mersault guards is such a cop-out, give me something cool like Dazai’s communication strategy

Strongest opponent after /that man/. WHO IS FYODOR TALKING ABOUT I NEED TO KNOW GIVE ME TOLSTOY OR GIVE ME DEATH!

I’ll probably add more thoughts as I have them but these are my preliminary ones

Heh, as someone who literally cannot function around attractive people, I felt this one. When I was at college, there was a hot guy I would literally AVOID just because looking at him scrambled my brain.

Characters: Nakahara Chuuya, Dazai Osamu, Akutagawa Ryuunosuke

Warnings: Dazai, tbh.

Nakahara Chuuya

When you first met, Chuuya assumed you were nervous around him because he's an executive of the Port Mafia, which is a fairly healthy attitude, even before you find out he's, oh, y'know, the vessel for Arahabaki and insanely powerful. But no, that wasn't what got you tongue-tied.

It's because he's just so fucking hot.

I like to think he found out over drinks, when the liquor finally lubricated your tongue and dissolved your brain-to-mouth filter enough to let the truth come spilling out. Chuuya's knocked for six. He was starting to wonder if you didn't actually like him. Turns out, he's just too damn fine and you couldn't cope.

Listen, he's so, so pleased with himself. He's got killer style and he knows he's attractive, even if he has a slight height complex. He just didn't expect it to impact your ability to function around him. To say he's gleeful is an understatement.

He also finds it abso-fucking-lutely adorable. Like seriously? He won't be as annoying about it as some people (Dazai) but he will preen about it. Expect him to dial up the roguish charm a bit, sitting there with a crooked grin on his face while you bury your face in your drink and wait for the ground to swallow you whole.

Even when you get together later on down the line, he still likes to fluster you when you least expect it.

Akutagawa Ryuunosuke

Akutagawa is used to being feared, and rightly so. He simply assumed you were no different and dismissed you out of hand. Even his subordinates follow him more out of fear than respect.

Higuchi is obviously besotted with him, which he doesn't appear to notice—or if he does notice, he completely ignores it. Something about your continued nervousness around him bothers him, however.

Eventually, he demands an explanation and it had better be good. If you're so damn afraid of him, why do you continue to plague him with your presence?

The feared Black Dog of the Port Mafia was not prepared for your answer.

"Are you MOCKING me?"

When you—eventually—manage to reassure him that you're not, he...doesn't really know what to do with that information. Akutagawa doesn't think of himself as attractive. He knows he's thin and sickly, and he never gives much thought to his looks (apart from to wonder why Gin inherited all the eyebrow genes).

You will encounter the extremely rare flustered Akutagawa. Not only are you not afraid of him for the sane reasons, you have the absolute gall to act like a shy little schoolkid around him because you think he's handsome?

It's Akutagawa, so he'll curtly tell you to get a grip and order you out of his presence, but you can bet he's puzzling over it in front of a mirror, pointedly ignoring the ever-so-slight flush on his cheeks.

"Foolishness."

Dazai Osamu

Oh, god. Okay, Dazai's going to be absolutely insufferable.

So, he's a consummate flirt and 100% used to having women around him falling for his good looks and (dubious) charms. I don't know if you've seen that manga panel where he seduces the nurse in the hospital just to get his phone back, but yeah, boy is a slut.

So he'll know almost from the get-go why you get so flustered around him. He plays up to it, too, flirting with you and finding excuses to lean close and murmur in your ear or touch your hands. And that's him being subtle. He might just get down on one knee and ask you to use those lovely hands to choke him.

If you're a close acquaintance of his, perhaps someone who works at the Agency, he doesn't push it too much. He just finds it cute that you can struggle to function like a regular human being around him because he makes your heart go doki doki.

"Careful with those files. Wouldn't want you falling for me—you actually tripped. My bad."

Even when you two become an item, he doesn't let up on going out of his way to fluster the hell out of you for his own amusement.

10B/Decima (A Battle Unit Android of YorHa who shows more emotion than most. Flirtatious and protective of those she cares about, almost overly protective and will gladly kill for them. When fighting machines, she can almost come off as psychotic.)

Pokemon:

Chiyumi Muzai (A Pokemon trainer from Hearthome with an Empoleon named Pippin as her starter and a friendly Altaria by the name of Peeps and many more Pokemon. Shy and slightly clumsy and tends to attract Pokemon when she doesn’t want to)

Blair Mahou (Braixen Gijinka who thinks she is a magical girl. Flirty and mischievous sometimes but mainly likes to help people with her ‘powers’. Likes to put on a show in order to gain reputation and hopes to get her own tv show)

Piper/Peeps (An Altaira Gijinka girl who can’t speak human very well and tends to just say Peep or chirp or hum. Very innocent and naive and loves to give hugs to people and can be a tad air-headed.)

Fairy Tail:

Emilia Clarimond (Emilia is a Celestial Wizard with the Jade Zodiac Keys, Mouse, Monkey, Tiger and Sheep! She is clever, stubborn, hard headed but can become friendly when she gets close to someone. To her, her Zodiac summons are like family. Has a Fate series Master verse!)

Genshin Impact:

Iyumi (Iyumi is a Fatui Mage hailing from Snezhnaya who is on the prowl for someone cute she can call hers. To most she acts vicious and snobby, ready to electrocute them should they get on her nerves. But should she find the someone she wants, she becomes more adoring and flirty, chasing after them until she can have them. Which can turn into an aggressive chase should the other not want her. Has a Demon and Dark Goddess AU!)

Kyana Aeira (A Pyro Vision user from Mondstadt who dreams of becoming a Knight of Favonius one day. She works hard taking on random tasks from the people to prove herself capable. She is determined and optimistic and tends to listen more to her emotions than think with logic. Has a One Piece AU!)

Monster Hunter:

Sonafuwa (A Paolumu who gained the ability to turn human. Sonafuwa is shy and tends to stay in the trees and away from hunters so she won’t get hunted. When she meets someone friendly, she becomes more calm and is happy to make a new friend.)

Sakura (A Pink Rathian that gained the ability to turn human. Territorial at first but can become friendly if she sees the other means no harm. Prissy and doesn’t mind Hunters so long as she isn’t their target.)

Fandomless:

Ourania Thanos (A dragon that can turn into a human. Cocky, egotistical, and loves to show off to others. Loves to fight people just to fight strong opponents and also loves to eat lots of meat and drinks lots of ale. Has a Monster Hunter verse where she is a Zinogre gijinka)

Kingdom Hearts:

Xia Malificia (A Nobody who is flirtatious, mischievous, and a bit manipulative. She wants to become a part of Organization XIII and use them for her own ends. A trouble maker. Has multiple AUs including a One Piece AU.)

Diana Fotieni (A keyblade wielder with a keyblade that is supposed to represent a balance of light and darkness. But Diana believes all darkness should be eradicated to protect the people. Acts rather knight like. Has a Pokemon verse and Final Fantasy 15 verse!)

Yugioh:

Miyuki Tenshi (A sweet, kind-hearted girl with a deck of angelic creatures revolving around Sanctuary in the Sky. She has the duel spirit of Happy Lover and is convinced she is the only one who has one as she has yet to meet anyone else who can see her. Has multiple AU verses.)

Aku Yazoi (A wannabe punk boy who is hot tempered and tries to act cool but is a sucker for cute girls. Is kind of a dweeb. Is from 5Ds. Also has fandomless verse for non-Yugioh threads)

Fandomless/Disgaea:

Zalira Deona (A succubus who doesn’t really do succubus things. Her mom and dad are a powerful incubus and succubus pair who wanted her to follow in their footsteps. But all Zalira wanted was to laze around and eat human snacks and indulge in their culture (like manga!). Before they could send her to a demon academy, she ran away from home and ended up among humans.)

Fandomless/Zelda:

Colette Eirina (Princess of Maas Kingdom and a rather air headed one at that. A hopeless romantic who reads tons of romance novels and is very naive but a sweet and kind person willing to help others. Though she mainly needs help herself.)

Fandomless:

Midori Mihata (A clumsy, terrified ninja who is probably not the best person to be a ninja. But she is trying to do her ninja clan proud. Also has a Naruto verse!)

Chloe Thaleia (Mischievous thief from a family of thieves looking for her older brother who left home when she was a child. Will steal from you playfully then give it back once she’s caught. Has a magical greatsword she stole that can use the four elements but she has no idea how to use it.)

Aiolos Thaleia (Older brother of Chloe. After witnessing his uncle (who had taught them all they know about being a thief) break the family code by murdering someone, he decided to go on a different path and leave the family. He strives to be a knight or a guard, something he sees as more honorable.)
