Alivia Ash – From Merrillville, Indiana. She’s a Track and Field runner from the University of Louisville Cardinals. In 2020 she Competed in five meets during the indoor season… Cleared a season-high 1.73m/5’08 in the high jump at the ACC Indoor Championships for a third place finish, earning first team All-ACC honors… Finished second in the high jump at the Gene Edmonds Open and Notre Dame Invitational.

Kevin Venturas Cortes – From Anaheim, California. Tight End from CSP, Concordia St. Paul in 2021 NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors ... led the team's tight ends in total receptions (10) and reception yards (64) … played in 10 games while starting five … had at least one reception in 5 games. His twitter account is so special. KVCortes7. He has a pinned video of Triple H making him an offer to go to Orlando to train at the Performance Center. Then the shot goes to the bus with everyone on the list, calling his loved one, at a loss for words but telling whoever is on that call that he got the contract. The video of his introduction into NXT and followed up with the words Arriva y Adelante which translates to onward. Representation Matters.

Skylor Clinton – From Prescott, Arizona. Former tight end from Northern Arizona University, professional indoor football league player.

Alfa magazine did a cover story about her. She says “I originally come from a background of Serbian-Croatian descent. Born in the Balkans during war, my family fled to Canada in order to seek a stable living environment.”

She’s been training karate for 20 years and have currently been on the National team for 10 of those years. She won the Karate Commonwealth Championships. "It was a tough year overall in competition for me, and one of the largest competitions was coming up (Commonwealth Games). Before travelling to South Africa to compete, I fell short of medal rounds in 3 competitions prior to the Commonwealth championships".

-Ok, veamos como va todo por aquí… —dijo Kurt mientras se ponía un guante para horno que hacia juego con el delantal que llevaba sobre la ropa elegante, estaba en al cocina encargándose de los últimos detalles de la cena de «Acción de Gracias» que, como había sido tradición por la proximidad del departamento con el epicentro del desfile de Macy’s, todos habían votado para que fuera en New York nuevamente— perfecto como siempre… —añadió mirando el termómetro en el pavo que se asaba en el horno, tomó una pequeña taza y lo roció con caldo una vez más— creo que con eso será suficiente… perfecto Kurt Hummel-Anderson, no me pones más viejo… te pones mejor… —dijo auto dedicándose palabras de felicitación— a seguir con lo otro… —agregó moviéndose por la cocina tomó un cuaderno que tenía sobre la mesa y leyó la lista de cosas por hacer y ´puso un ticket de listo en la tarta de de calabaza, la salsa de arándano y la de carne— ahora a lo que queda… —dijo poniendo el cuaderno de vuelta sobre la mesa, tomo uno de los cuchillos y se dispuso a picar cebolla — por favor no me hagas llorar… —pidió mirando el vegetal, tomo aire y se puso en aquello comenzando a derramar lagrimas en cuanto le quito la primera capa a la cebolla. -¿Donde esta el resto de las copas?... —preguntó Blaine entrando en la cocina. -¿Como?... —respondió su esposo como sollozando. -Las copas… me faltan dos, en el gabinete de la sala solo habían… oye… ¿estás bien?... —dijo acercándose al verlo limpiarse la nariz y escucharlo sollozar como cuando terminaban de ver «Moulin Rouge»

-Estoy bien… esto no lo esta… —añadió señalando la cebolla a medio picar. -Claro… pero, ¿por que picas cebollas?, creí que lo de picar había quedado listo ayer… yo personalmente recuerdo haber cortado unas cuantas verduras… —dijo Blaine alcanzando un paquete de pañuelos descartables desde uno de los cajones. -Lo se, pero esto es algo de última hora… -¿«Última hora»?, más explicaciones por favor…—añadió entregándoselos. -Veras… ayer hable con mi suegra… —Blaine alzo una ceja con suspicacia divertida al escuchar aquello— ya sabes, por lo del vuelo, las entradas al desfile, ese tipo de cosas— añadió sonándose tres veces antes de seguir explicando— y entre la conversación me contó que su mamá, es decir tu abuela… preparaba el puré de patatas de manera tradicional, pero que al final le agregaba trozos de cebolla y guisantes… -Ok… -Entonces, me pareció que sería una buena idea traer ese recuerdo a su corazón este día… ¿que?... —pregunto al ver que Blaine lo miraba como a punto de reír. -Nada, es decir… ¿por qué quieres congraciarse con mi mamá?... ¿qué hiciste?.. -¡Oye!, yo no he hecho nada y tampoco quiero eso de congraciarme… solo, no se… le debo mucho a esta persona… si no fuera por ella… tú no estarías aquí… -Oh... eso fue muy dulce… bastante cursi, pero muy dulce…—dijo Blaine sonriendo, Kurt alzo una ceja y levantó un hombro orgulloso de su comentario dulce y cursi. -Y juro que me hubiera gustado ahorrarme todo este sufrimiento comprado una bolsa ya lista y picada, pero las cosas escasean en las fiestas… —termino por decir desechando los pañuelos usados, se lavo las manos y se puso nuevamente frente a la tabla de picar. -Claro...oye, ¿por que no usas esos lentes que compraste?... —sugirió Blaine hacienda ademán de ir a por ellos. -Porque son estúpidos… -Fue tu idea… —advirtió su esposo medio sentándose en la mesa del desayuno -Lo se. pero fue una compra compulsiva a las 2 de la mañana… nada bueno surge de ese tipo de compras… además, es solo media cebolla que necesito, no más… — respondió tomando un poco de aire como para buscar dentro de sus pulmones la valentía para seguir con la tarea —dime que necesitas… con un demonio… —exclamó al sentir que la cebolla liberaba las diferentes sustancias químicas, las enzimas, los aminoácidos sulfóxidos y los compuestos azufrado de una sola vez, casi como si se vengara de Kurt por cortarla en trozos tan pequeños y regulares. -¿Quieres que yo lo haga? -Por que?, ¿eres inmune a todos estos gases?… —preguntó volviendo a lo de sonarse y enjugar sus lágrimas en repetidas ocasiones. -No… -¿Entonces? -Entonces… solo me ofrecí porque quería librarte de un sufrimiento, pero como no aceptas mi ayuda… puedo ofrecerte un remedio infalible… -¿Si?...¿cual?... -Este… —dijo abrazándolo por la espalda, le dio un par de besos en el cuello y luego le tomó la cara para besarlo en los labios, Kurt sonrió y giró hacia él para besarlo de vuelta y con ganas. -Vaya remedio… —dijo suspirando— oye, ya no tengo lágrimas… —agregó señalándose la cara -Te lo dije… -¡Ahí tiene tu venganza cebolla del demonio!… —exclamó Kurt mirando el vegetal, Blaine sonrió de maravillas y Kurt no pudo evitar perderse un segundo en su mirada —nunca cambies Blaine Anderson-Hummel… —añadió suspirando— ahora a terminar de una vez y para siempre…—dijo dándole otro beso pequeño y rápido antes de apartarse para seguir con los últimos preparativos— dime lo que necesitas…—dijo comenzando a picar lo más rápido posible— te escuche decir que faltaba algo… -Si, pregunte por las copas…—dijo Blaine mirando a su alrededor. -¿Copas?, ¿qué copas?…. con un demonio… —repitió mientras sentía más lágrimas caer y movía el cuchillo como si su vida dependiera de ello. -Las altas con borde dorado, faltan dos… -Pues empiece buscando en el piso de nuestro baño junto a la bañera… —dijo Kurt alzando una ceja con picardía . -Ah… —añadió Blaine como recordando algo— había olvidado nuestra noche de anoche… -Oye, eso es bastante ofensivo para mí y para mi ego… —sentenció Kurt terminado por fin, puso la cebolla picada en un tiesto de vidrio y lavó la tabla, la cuchilla y sus manos para evitar más gases vengativos y azufrados. -Lo siento, pero debes saber… -Papá, «Papáblen»… ¿son ustedes acaso?… —pregunto Noah llegando a la cocina con «Desmond» y «Mister Stephen Wishkers» entre sus brazos. -Lo somos hijo… -Cariño, ¿qué te dije sobre cargar a ese animalito?... aún no te recuperas bebé… —advirtió Kurt acercándose al pequeño, le hizo unas musarañas al gato hasta que este se vio forzada a abandonar los brazos de su amo. -Es porque tiene un problema… —replicó Noah siguiendo a su mascota -¿Un problema?... ¿qué problema hijo?... —pregunto Blaine siguiéndolo a él. -Creo que esta enfermo… -¿No es un tipo de gripe mortal o algo?... —añadió Kurt alejándose un poco. -Kurt… —dijo su esposo mirándolo con reprobación, este murmuro un «¿Qué?» y siguió en lo suyo. -¿Por qué crees que esta enfermo hijo?... —dijo Blaine bajando a la altura del más pequeño de la familia. -Porque estábamos con «Desmond» y «Mister Stephen Whiskers» hizo así… —dijo Noah simulando una arcada, Blaine dio un respingo sorpresa y Kurt otro como de asco — después no quiso comer sus croquetas… —añadió preocupado. -Seguro no es nada cariño, los gatos son así de… raros… en ocasiones… —dijo Kurt volviendo a lo de la cara de asco y pensando que en realidad quería decir «repugnante» y «cochino» -Pero yo creo que debe ir al «dopstor»… puede ser algo grave, yo leí todo al «respepsto» -Cariño, dudo que exista un veterinario de guardia el día de «Acción de gracias», mañana seguro y conseguimos la primera de las citas… —dijo Kurt como sentenciando el asunto, Noah bajó la cabeza entristecido y Blaine no pudo evitar no solidarizar con él, le acarició la espalda e hizo una mueca de tristeza con su cara. -Tal vez podemos llevarlo a urgencias… creo que hay un hospital… -Blaine… —interrumpió Kurt dejando a su esposo con el ademán de revisar su teléfono— ¿puedo hablar contigo un segundo?...—dijo señalando hacia atrás y por sobre su hombro Blaine le sonrió a Noah y partió hacia él como en cámara lenta, Kurt era el mejor hombre de la tierra, pero bien sabía que cuando el gato estaba involucrado, no era mucho lo que podía esperar de él.

depois da sua separação, victoire passou a evitar homens, dates e romances a qualquer custo. em partes porque não sabia mais como lidar com aquilo, mas principalmente porque insistia em afirmar a todos que "não estava interessada." mas depois de alguns drinks, e de ouvir a insistência das amigas por horas a fio, ela resolveu se deixar levar. se levantou da mesa onde estava e caminhou direto para a mesa do dj, se aproveitando do fato dele estar desacompanhado. "oi, jake. eu encontrei esse papel em branco na minha mesa e estava pensando, talvez eu devesse ocupa-lo com o meu numero de telefone e deixa-lo aqui. só para o caso de querer terminar a noite em algum outro lugar." sugeriu, se inclinando para colocar o papel com o numero anotado em cima da mesa antes de se despedir, deixando um beijo no canto da boca do dj e se voltando para as amigas que comemoravam na mesa do canto. "ótimo, victoire. se envolver com alguém do trabalho, grande ideia!" deixou um sussurro sarcástico e inaudível enquanto voltava a se sentar.

¿Que pasaría si borráramos la historia de les fotógrafes mujeres y disidencias?

Perderíamos un mundo amplio, donde se puede mirar tanto los grandes temas como también mirar hacia adentro, del hogar, de los afectos, de une misme, de la performance que es vivir en sociedad y perderíamos, además, la parte de la fotografía más lúdica, expresiva y que no tiene miedo a no tomarse tan en serio a si misma.

Ayer el equipo de photobook club madrid llevó a cabo una visita a la exposición “what they saw: historical photobooks by woman 1843-1999" en la cual se recorrió la muestra y luego tuvimos la oportunidad de ver varios títulos.

La muestra gira en torno a una publicación realizada por 10x10 photobook que reúne 250 libros seleccionados y que en la biblioteca se exponen 60 de ellos. Según la web de la biblioteca “Esta muestra busca incluir autorías que han sido marginadas en la historia del fotolibro, así como aquello a lo que miraron y que, a menudo, también ha sido borrado o silenciado: las mujeres, las comunidades queer, las personas racializadas y artistas que no son de Estados Unidos ni de países europeos.”

Hay que tener en cuenta que es una exposición de corte clásico/archivístico donde vamos a ver una selección de libros desde 1843 a 1999 y que las cosas han cambiado bastante desde esa época a la actualidad desde lo social, político en materia de derechos y visibilidad de comunidades lgbtq+, rol de la mujer en la vida y también aspectos técnicos en torno a equipo y temáticas tratadas. Muchos de los libros que se pudieron consultar eran de fotografías en byn, sobre todo de retrato. Libros como el de Hiromix (que de los expuestos en la expo me parecía el más “actual” y con una estética más desenfadada) no se encontraba disponible para consultarlo sino que era parte de la mesa con vitrinas.

Es muy raro ir a exposiciones de libros donde no se pueden ver por dentro, que, por cuestiones de conservación, se encuentran dentro de una vitrina. Me genera un sentimiento de extrema confusión ya que, si me genera interés, QUIERO VERLO! QUIERO SABER MÁS! Hay algunas exposiciones que ponen como alternativa el visionado mediante una pantalla, que no es lo mismo pero al menos nos puede quitar la curiosidad 😌

También es importante decir que los libros expuestos son parte de la colección de la biblioteca y que están accesibles a todes y que este material es un gran documento histórico y está bueno que podamos tener acceso de forma gratuita.

Pueden visitar la muestra hasta el 7 de junio de 2024 en la Biblioteca del Museo Reina Sofía.

denial of research: In some way or another such as overwhelming amounts of research needed, I can refuse to do research and try and do asks with them the best I can. Just don’t ask about anything in terms of their world.

reference image: basically what it says on the tin. I normally try finding ones that have the character fat, but not with ones with this tag on them

BROADWAY IN KOREA

A Samsung, a Hyundai e a LG estavam enfurecidas com os ganhos de 2022 e precisavam de dinheiro. Isso era tudo o que os executivos das empresas de entretenimento sabiam quando foram convocados para uma reunião no final de novembro. Sequer sabiam que iam se encontrar mas todos se sentaram sob a mesma mesa na tentativa de ter um plano traçado para que pudesse ajudar os acionistas.

As reuniões eram impessoais e não citavam grupos ou cantores. Queriam audiência, atenção e a mídia sobrevoando a cabeça dos artistas para que eles fossem capazes de vender carros, geladeiras, televisores e todos os últimos lançamentos das marcas. Apenas os outdoors e as propagandas não estavam suprindo as necessidades e precisavam de mais.

Apesar da nítida pressão dos patrocinadores, ainda era preciso ter algum ganho para aqueles que administravam e tinham em mãos a indústria do pop coreano e chegaram num consenso ambicioso: uma competição de musicais. As apresentações aconteceriam com público e também estaria disponível para a compra no YouTube. Quem ganhasse a competição, ganharia quinhentos mil wons e teria a possibilidade de gravar as músicas em estúdio para que pudessem também as deixar disponível para download.

Cada um escolheu um musical de preferência para que pudesse competir. A Atom ficou com Hamilton, Wishbone ficou com Moulin Rouge, Elevate ficou com Chicago e a JG ficou com Les Misérables.

Até mesmo o número de ingressos vendidos seria um quesito para ganhar ou não a competição. Não se importam com quem fosse ganhar, contando que seus bolsos transbordaram dinheiro.

NOTAS OOC:

O evento acontecerá entre os dias 03 e 04 de dezembro, mais especificamente: a Atom e a Wishbone terão suas apresentações no dia 03 às 18h e às 22h e a Elevate e JG no dia 04 às 18h e às 22h, respectivamente.

Vocês estão livres para combinarem entre si os papéis que cada um irá fazer e também podem utilizar de NPCs para completar os musicais. Pedimos apenas que nos enviem essa decisão para organização interna no dia.

Também estão livres para organizarem narrações caso queiram.

O local em que ocorrerá os musicais será no Teatro Nacional da Coreia em Seul e cada apresentação durará cerca de 2h30min, tendo seus ingressos vendidos separadamente.
