We have spent so much time on HoR's colored headers. And now. Part of me just hates them.

It's less that they're all bad (they do match the general artstyle of everything else pretty well), and more that they aren't as consistent as we'd like. Some of them are very good and some of them are just adequate enough to pass. And, no matter what, I feel like they could look childish to an outside eye.

This is probably a brief, fleeting bout of "stared at the thing too long," but there is a part of me that wonders if we should do more symbolic chapter headers to represent each character instead.

#trying to chat normally about the general stress of the process #sometimes you hate a thing and you eventually realize it HAS to be changed #and sometimes you hate a thing but it's just a bout of insecurity and you'll feel better about it in the morning #that's just the creative process for you! #anyway if we had to make symbolic ch headers #that would be one for; #Navaeli; Crislie; Meparik; Atevia; Gildhe; Morekai; Ilaina; Alaezel; and also maybe a misc one for a chorus sorta chapter #which is eight #that is . . . a lot less than a new header for every chapter #but still would be a lot to design from scratch #aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa #we'll work it out!
