“Straight Street” latest version of this evolving arrangement. This guitar started by trying to play the bass line that the bass vocal sings in the Pilgrim Travelers version. Then from there, some different chord inversions that were inspired upon working on playing that bass part. Still kinda sloppy imo. It’s in drop D. I dig this one a lot. This time I set up a patch and then I sampled a portion of it to play back with the record + remix. And this is the first time I truly understood how the VCAs work. I used them to subtly add other voices to the mix from the Braids. Oh and I used Marbles to also modulate when the delay turned on and off.
