“Walk with kindness and love, Sister, and the moon will walk alongside you.” The Family - A deeply religious community based around worship of the Moon and Fate as three entities, reincarnated through their leaders.

“Blood is in our veins, but also in our character. Good blood is the mark of a good cat.” Ancestor Grove - A monarchical group based on the value of a cat’s bloodline, ruled by the Red Monarch and their heirs, riddled with court intrigue and underhanded diplomacy.

“It matters not if you are a coward or a lion. It only matters who, when the claws have been sheathed, is left standing with their honor intact.” Barrowclan - A clan focused on ceremonial dueling as a way of life, who worship their deceased clanmates in an ever expanding legend, created under their Council.

“If you live your life right, each day is an adventure, each story a legend, and each puddle an ocean.” Echo Bay - A group of sea-loving cats living in an abandoned pirate ship, focused on the value of life as a journey and independent adventure.

There is a heightened sense of fear across all the territories, leading to tension between everyone who calls this place home.

To make matters more confusing, some cat have even returned after being missing. They seem to be acting strangely, however, and some act like different cats entirely!

Clans of the Blue Ridge Mountains is an open, casual WCRP set within the Blue Ridge region of the Appalachian Mountains. There, two Clans reside: BrookClan and RidgeClan.

These Clans live in different parts of the mountain, with RidgeClan at its peak and BrookClan further down, along the head of a river. These Clans have their own specialized hunting styles, culinary abilities, and roles. Plenty of non-Clan cats live on the mountain as well, some friend, some foe. You can choose from the two Clans, or any non-Clan alignment. This server will use the proxy bot Tupperbox in order to operate roleplays. You can still participate and not use this bot, though! More about that is on the server itself. High ranks will be first come, first serve!

Parenting Styles

Due to the nature of key relationships in each clan, the parenting styles are uniquely different. Here is a brief overview of the standard relationships between parents and their cubs in each clan:

SunClan values the family, and their parents are the most involved. Cubs are raised by their parents and immediate family, and trained by them as well. Don’t let that fool you though, monarchs are still an important part of clan life, helping and guiding new parents along.

TuskClan believes in the popular saying of “it takes a clan”. Cubs are not really the direct responsibility of parents to take care of, and it’s less of a “my cub” situation and more of a “cub of the clan” thing. Monarchs take the lead in raising the youngest clanmembers, but the entire clan often shares their wisdoms and take turns watching and training each incoming batch.

BevyClan is arguably the least involved when it comes to parenting. Cubs are the sole responsibility of the monarchs, as their “first mentors”, as it is the monarch’s job and no one could do it better than them. It’s what they’re trained for, after all!

MoonClan; Intelligent and Confident

MoonClan lives by the rivers and streams, and are known for their intelligence. They value confidence, and often busy themselves with puzzles and riddles. Their deputies are always the oldest kin of the current leader. They accept outsiders occasionally.

SunClan; Charismatic and Creative

SunClan lives on the meadows and fields, and are known for their charisma. They value creativity of all kinds, art, songs, even putting on plays. Their deputies are chosen by the clan’s oracles. They’re the least likely to accept outsiders.

StarClan; Agile and Curious

StarClan lives in the canyons and cliffs, and are known for their agility. They value curiosity, often encouraging cats to explore and bring back oddities. Their deputies are voted in by clan members of age. They occasionally accept outsiders.

CloudClan; Strong and Reserved

CloudClan lives in the woods and forests, and are known for their strength. They value self-control, with most cats being quiet or laid back. Their deputies are chosen by the leader. They’re the most likely to accept outsiders.

The four clans have looked to their ancestors who have passed on, SkyClan, to guide them for many moons. But all is not as it seems, and secrets can’t stay secret forever. Times under the sky are changing. How will it change you?

Long before the clans were established, before the legends were etched in stone, there were three kittypets who dared to follow the elusive path of their dreams. Under the guidance of a wandering loner, they ventured far beyond the boundaries of their cozy homes, leaving behind the comforts they once knew.

Their paws carried them across uncharted territories, and their hearts were set on finding a new place to call home. Each passing day brought with it new challenges and unfamiliar landscapes, and their resolve was tested to its limits. But as they overcame adversity, they found themselves amassing a motley crew of supporters who shared their vision. Together, they forged a fragile harmony, their shared dreams uniting them against the backdrop of the wild, untamed world.

However, like the shadows cast by a setting sun, conflicts were inevitable. In the throes of a bitter battle, tragedy struck, and one of the original four paid the ultimate price. It was her untimely loss that served as a turning point for the remaining three cats, pushing them to reassess their paths. In the crucible of that life-altering confrontation, the seeds of destiny were sown, and three distinct clans sprang forth.

Have you ever thought that "Wow, Warrior Cats would make a great cult AU"? Well, then, Cults of the Andes is for you. It has three unique clans, and a ranking system that branches far from Warrior Cats' original. There's also rich lore, and if it gains enough traction, possibilities for those in our discord server to influence the story via role-playing. Every character used will be made by polls on its Tumblr blog, @cultsoftheandes.

It's set in the jagged peaks of the Andes in South America, and each clan has its own culture, hunting styles, and roles- as well as its secrets. Many cats whisper about ancient clans that splintered from the Three, but leaders and other high-ranking cats deny this furiously.

THE TUNDRA CALLS... ❄️

The Cold Season was brutal on all. It tore through the Clans with no prior warning, ravaging the territory with harsh, blistering snowstorms and such heavy snowfall you couldn't see a lick of land underpaw. It grew so cold you would catch frostbite if outside for only a few minutes. Illness spread like wildfire, and the death toll rose quickly, unable to be tempered by the augurs and their dwindling herbs. The Clans distanced themselves, closing off from each other as they sulked in their own misery and death.

One augur, however, they grew discontent with their leader's inaction. Starclan was punishing them, and they had to act quick to right their wrongs. They went to their leader and urged them to host another Gathering, to bring the Clans together under Silverpelt's shine, where Starclan would see them once more. The leader was hesitant; they had not held a Gathering in many moons, not with so many cats sick and the weather being worse than ever. Still, they gave in to their augur's pleas and made the trek.

When they got to the Clearing, they found a small collection of the other Clan's warriors and apprentices there, the leader looking haggard but unphased. It was a cold, miserable Gathering in near-whiteout conditions, and for a moment the augurs had almost lost hope; but then, the blizzard eased and the clouds parted, revealing an array of shimmering blues and greens they had never seen in the sky before.

The augurs said it was a sign, that Starclan's Lights deemed it such. The Clans must stand together rather than apart to pull through the season and survive.

So they did. The Clans worked together to stay afloat, sending mediators bustling back and forth to share news and the measly herbs they could spare. They held Gatherings, even as their member counts fluctuated. In the end, they made it through, and the Newleaf following the Cold Season was one of prosperity and health.

It has been eight years now since the Cold Season, and the Clans are still struggling to find their footing after such a catastrophic Leafbare. While they have not seen a winter nearly as bad as the season of legend, they are still wary, not quite over the horrors of the past.

The Clans have found peace now, but how much longer until the past catches up to them ? How much longer until the shaky serenity they've established is shattered ?

CATS OF THE FROZEN WASTE is officially open for new members ! After months of working on this, I'm beyond ecstatic to finally bring my team's creation to life and bring a unique new experience to the Warriors text-based roleplay scene.
