rules: seven comfort movies, seven people
i am known amongst my friends as the one that doesn’t watch movies, so we’ll see how this goes 👍
1. The Princess Bride (1987) - i could rewatch this movie every day and not get sick of it. i grew up watching it with my dad so there’s a lot nostalgia with this one.
2. Juno (2007) - finally watched this movie last year because of my friend, juno, and because of my love for kimya dawson. i love this movie so much, i live for the soundtrack and color-grading.
3. Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World (2010) - this is a more recent addition. i thoroughly enjoy unserious, fun movies, and i think they did the comic to movie adaptation the best way possible.
4. It (2017) - probably my favorite horror movie. i really just like the horror-comedy aspect of it. is this odd to have as a comfort movie, idk.
5. The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) - i don’t have much to say for this one, it’s just my favorite Spider-Man movie :)
6. Fight Club (1999) - i wanted to watch the movie that film bros kept misinterpreting and ended up really liking it. i love pieces of media that are analogies for gay shit.
7. Life on the Murder Scene (2006) - cheap shot, but i’ve watched it a bajillion (4) times so i can’t not include her.
i get nervous tagging mutuals so it’s not going to be 7: @gillionstits @fatherlesschip @fagyaoi or any mutual who wants to do this ^_^
don’t feel obligated to participate!! and don’t feel obligated to write as much as i did, i just felt like it.

Long time follower, first time caller: is there a way to order from you online that doesn't end up having you pay so much in taxes? Or like a tip button? Or using the sale code and paypalling the difference? Not sure the thoughts on this, and I didn't want to be insulting to your business. But I also hate the current tax system and how it affects artists so much more than billionaires 🙄 Thank you for your time. (And amazing art)
hello my angel!! thank you so much for your concern, this is such a kind and generous offer! unfortunately i feel like it's just the name of the game, as a ~business owner~ i gotta pay taxes on my income. lots of other people more professional than me (esp full-timers) do this quarterly or do estimates so they can try to not pay such a huge chunk at once, but since i hadn't yet owed that much i haven't really looked into it! (especially since it seems like more work! i don't wanna do my taxes four times a year!) honestly the best way would be to buy stuff from me locally but that's not an option for most of you hahaha. having people dm me orders and taking payments to venmo or paypal could be one thing but it would be MUCH easier for me to lose track of order info that way so i don't want to encourage people to do that on any kind of large-scale basis. you're certainly more than welcome to throw me some money if you want, but truly do not feel obligated to do so! i have a kofi and here's my venmo. but, like, don't feel like you're putting me out by participating in a sale or anything! i don't want people to feel bad about not giving me "enough" money. in the grand scheme of things i am ok 👍 but i also will not say no if you want to toss me a couple bucks for being such a special little treasure 👼🏼
