The phrase “premonitory urge” when it comes to tics is so funny to me but also feels kinda… off?

Like, you see “premonitory” and think, “oh cool, you can predict the future”.

But it’s actually more like,

“Ah yes, predict that Something coming. Unfortunately, it is going to hurt.”
