Nicknames: Noddy (only used by Thancred. Alphinaud tried it out once many moons ago which was awkward, he won't do that again.)

Age: She will possibly turn 30 during her sojourn on The First? We will only know for sure if/when she returns to The Source.

Hair: Red (natural)

Eyes: Deep Red

Skin: Lightly tanned, lightly freckled.

Tattoos/scars: A few battle scars, no significant marks.

Parents: Deceased. Both parents passed due to ill health around 10 years before Indie's adventuring career began. They were older parents, at least in their late forties when Indie came along. For some reason I can only picture her parents as Lalas when I try to imagine what they'd look like (that's not canon Indie lore yet).

Siblings: None.

Grandparents: Deceased. Indie has few but very fond memories of them.

In-laws and Other: Indie was widowed just a few years before setting off for Ul'dah, which was actually the main motivator for the journey. Indie married a fairly high ranking Imperial Officer (the controversy) who was executed for his, uh, military misconduct. It's a long story, not for here.

Pets: Indie has 3 pets: Cheech the Chewy pup lives in her FC room in Shirogane, Winston the Tiny Rat lives in her house in Mist, and Professor Shoebill who hangs out in the garden in Mist.

I am so fascinated with that place; the research & development complex, the labs, the quarantine blocks for the creations that didn't meet safety requirements and the ones that escaped and now roam. Some might find it ugly, I just think it's neat!

Chez Indie

Who would like a tour of Indie's house? Yes, good!...

The entrance hall is as close to an office as you'll find. Indie avoids doing paperwork for as long as possible, stuffing them into the cartonnier next to her desk. The sticky notes on the wall behind her desk are silly notes she leaves for her retainers.

This is where Indie grows her flowers and herbs. She has a large vegetable patch in her garden but some of her favourite plants need a little extra care.

Cosy little lounge where Indie likes to chill and watch the fish!

Big, bright kitchen and diner, the sunniest spot in the cottage :) The balcony above is where she does her arting.

Coffee corner, where Indie will immediately head for when she drags herself outta bed.

Her bedroom is so cute with lots of candles, her maps and her journal.

And Indie's favourite seat, where she can watch the gorgeous sunsets. She loves that view so much!

Indie has never done a thing wrong in her life :O

She has regrets and she does carry some guilt, so maybe the redemption arc result encompasses many positive character arcs, in which case I can see why she'd get this one. She's always striving to improve and to heal, but not to lose who she was.

Red Mage training!

Indie isn't much of a magical girl, this is something she's still trying to get to grips with, but she can sure look stylish while she's at it.

(In between missions and disasters, I like to think she gets her practice in by challenging X'rhun Tia and/or Alisaie to a non-lethal hunt and sparring session - Final Fantasy laser quest style XD)
