Hey uh,,,,can I maybe get some,,,cute Muriel headcanons??? It's cool if no but that'd be cute

ngl I’d die for Muriel at any given moment so this ask was more than welcome in my inbox. also sorry, a lot of them ended up being MC/Muriel relationship headcanons...I just couldn’t resist. anyways, please enjoy. I poured my heart and soul into this.

Muriel has never celebrated his birthday before so when MC surprises him on what they believe is his birthday, he bawls his eyes out...my big softie man UGH

He is actually a pretty decent singer. Of course not classical trained or anything like that, but he has a very dark and deep voice that works really well for love songs.

This man...it is well known he cares a lot about animals, specifically his wolf, but have you considered....he loves rabbits? If he finds any abanonded in the woods (which happened quite a bit when the goat fucker was hunting) he takes them back to his home and cares for them. He likes holding the little baby ones in his big calloused hands and if they hop around Muriel dies on the spot ok and do NOT get me STARTED on Muriel bottle feeding them.

For a long time he is super afraid to touch MC for fear of hurting them, but eventually MC gets him to open up a bit more and get some more physical contact in. Eventually, Muriel works up the courage to attempt to sleep in the same bed as MC - when he wakes up and MC has not been squashed in their sleep, he picks them up and gives them a (not too tight!) bear hug and simply repeats, “I didn’t hurt you! MC, I didn’t hurt you!!!” He gets so excited and it’s the purest thing ever dkndjdhehe

Muriel has never had the time or thought to care for himself, so when he meets MC he is shocked to find they actually want to...pamper him? MC eventually convinces him to let them trim his hair and...wowie. Such a handsome man!!! MC then dresses him up in real clothes (aka anything other than his poor chain oh my god) and they go on a date together in the town and people actually compliment him???? “You’re a handsome couple” nearly sent him toppling into the water after they ran into an elderly woman MC knew and boy oh boy does it increase his confidence 38477483% and Muriel is just so happy because no one sees the Scourge, they just see Muriel.

Muriel says I love you to MC in a lot of little ways. After being taken care of by them, he tries to do his best to return the favor - getting up right before they do to make them some nice hot tea, picking flowers from the meadows near his home for them, and making an effort to try new things just for the MC. Muriel is complete s/o goals.

MC teaches Muriel how to dance and even though he has 2 left feet he absolutely LOVES IT. On starry nights he will get MC to cast a simple music spell and they’ll just waltz around in the grass barefoot, laughing and rejoicing in each orher’s prescence. Also, as bad as his attempts are, Muriel loves a good spin n’ dip with MC.

Finally Muriel actually keeps a diary. He’s a horrible speller and has big, bulky handwriting, often writing just simple sentences - but it matters to him. Some entries include “saw a nice fawn in the forest today”, “stranger was nice to me” and “i wonder when asra will visit again”. he also sometimes sketches little doodles of animals in the margins and it’s so cute??? god??? I love him???
