Not happy that I fell off the diet in the fall after needing to take some time off from working out to heal a minor foot injury. Doc warned me to stick with the diet or the pounds would come back on fast. Got busy, fell off the diet, and avoided scales and mirrors. No surprise that I gained the weight back and added more. 

Belly got HUGE! Tried on clothes from last year and up yet another size - at least, GRRRR....Up 20-25 lbs since September and not feeling ready for summer. Tease me to motivate me to lose this gut!

thinking about trying to do rangeland firefighting for at least one summer while I’m still in my 20s with derangements that make me love toiling like a medieval peasant but in order to do it next summer I would need to undergo a second, less illegal and contentious but some would say more difficult transition with my body. theatre kid to jock

#it would be such a cool experience but as you can imagine you need to meet a fitness requirement so the fires don’t destroy you etc etc #classic fire behavior but anyway you need to be able to walk 3 miles with a 45 pound pack in 45 minutes #it’s a test given by the forest service #however there are also a few other guidelines which are: #-can run 1.5 miles in 10 minutes 30 seconds #-can do 25 push ups #-can do 40 sit-ups #-can do 7 pull ups #easy for anyone who played footed ball in high school but unfortunately I was too busy not lifting things up and putting them down #but now I’m like. perhaps I could also pick heavy things up and put them down

Kinda bummed cause I didn't get a chance to talk much with any of the other con fgc tournament volunteers, and the Strive bracket was full so couldn't play and get to know people that way either. Spent $5 on the digital remains, and I feel bad bc I'm anxious with money rn for understandable reasons, but ultimately I am glad I got it. The booklet was really neat to look through, and seeing crossed out lyrics and how the songs evolved is really special to me. Also the live tracks were fun to listen to, despite my headache.

Portioning and freezing food after I go to the Big Club Store feels like putting in provisions for the long winter ahead like hark! we shall eat heartily of these lunch meats through the next three fortnights or more, for now they shall not succumb to decay

#lunch meat has gotten so EXPENSIVE #costco has a pack with 3 one-pound packages for $15 #but i have to FOCUS on eating through them before they go bad #and sometimes i dont get through them before they do #i froze the individual packs before and it worked ok #but each pack is still big #today i portioned them into six 8-ounce packs and froze THOSE #also portioned out a big thing of chocolate chip cookie dough into cookie size chunks #and froze them in half-dozen bags #for when i Just Need a Fresh Cookie #and also froze most of a pack of the Big Nice Blueberry Muffins #while i eat through the apple turnovers i also bought #supplies are LAID IN #my posts

#del gets personal #nick wont eat hte potatoes once htey go soft and i dont want ot drive them 300 miles and i dont want ot throw out eight pounds of potatoes #so i am goign to peel and boile them #and then we are goign to turn them into perogies #we both like perogies and they freexe adn travel well so: perogy day #my usual recipe makes like 50 though and this is 4x the potatoes #its gonna be like 200 perogies #anyway i also got the kitchen table disassembled so i have a corner of the apartment i can start stashing filled boxes in #so now the actual packing can start #down to 'i only have to make it seven more days on this laundry' yknow
