PLL: OS (Summer School) 2x04 thoughts pt. 2
*Spoilers for 2x01-2x04 of Summer School
This is going to be much shorter than part 1, it's just something that I can't quite leave alone.
As I've talked about several times, Mrs. Beasley/Kelly/the church plot line ties in with a lot of the religious imagery we get with "Rose," as well as a bunch of parallels between Rose and Mrs. Beasley's stories. Both Mrs. Beasley and Rose Waters had twins, one of which died violently from a fall, the other of which is considered the "lesser" child and experienced deep religious abuse at their mothers hands, both women became violent (attacked people with knives) with those they blamed for the death of their daughters, etc. Both have also appeared alternatively meek and frightened, as well as domineering and cruel.
The snag in the fabric of this picture for me is... "Rose" is pretty high tech. All of her "tests" have involved pretty elaborate set ups- Mouse being chained into the restaurant while being chased by Rose, the timer/mannequin set up for Faran's "test," not to mention we know (or I think we do) that the "Rose" persona/look is co-opted from SpookySpaghetti by the antagonists of this season, rather than an actual reflection the person underneath. While the phone calls and voice changer are reasonably old school, the use of online rumors is less so. Additionally, the use of "final girls" feels more related to someone who knows/enjoys horror (which doesn't feel particularly related to the church) as opposed to religious cleansing/testing.
All of this points to at least two people, in order to put together the elaborate "tests" and get the timing right (I also already felt multiple people may be wearing the "Rose" costume, because of how Imogen saw Rose at the bus stop, then we cut to Mouse's grandmother screaming because she saw Rose outside. While neither of these accounts can be fully trusted [due to both characters having a history of hallucinations/sleepwalking] and we don't know how much time has passed between these two events, they are edited as if they are happening within moments of each other. This would only be possible if there were more than 1 person dressed as "Rose."), but I also feel that it points to the characters involved being either- different ages, working toward different end goals, having different motives. Are even possibly a collective (or a church group) of people with different aims and skills. Just something I'm thinking about.

How The AD Reveal Should Have Gone (Alex's Backstory)
When Alex left her adopted home, she begged/borrowed/stealed/etc enough money to get to the states in order to find her real parents. During this time, she met Wren, and he became infatuated with her. This was 2 years before Ali disappeared.
Alex, at first, thought Jessica was Mary. She visited the DiLaurentis household and explained who she was and the horrible life she had endured. Jessica played the part of Mary, internally freaking out about the amount of chaos Alex’s reveal would undoubtedly cause.  She put Alex up in a hotel room while she asked her to be patient as she got up the nerve to explain to her family about Alex’s existence.   At this point, Alex was not aware that she was a twin, let alone that her twin lived next door to her “Mom”. Jessica immediately went to Peter, and the two of them devised a plan. Jessica would use her authority on the board at Radley to commit Alex as someone with multiple personality.  Peter, being genetically related, signed Alex in as “Bethany Young”.  They used Alex’s true back story (one which Alex originally had no problem agreeing to) as proof that she had a mental break, complete with accent.   Once Alex/Bethany was in Radley, Jessica kept tabs on her, and after the mind numbing drugs kicked in, would occasionally take Alex/Bethany on outtings. This is when she would insist Alex call her “Aunt Jessica”.  This was also why Jessica had told Ali you can “never turn your back on a Hastings”, because she was well aware that she could never share her knowledge of Alex’s existence, and if Ali had ever seen Alex, she would think she was Spencer.
There were a few times that Alex/Bethany was able to escape.
Tumblr media
The first time was Ian’s Halloween party.  While there, she overheard Noel talk about his and Ali’s plan to scare the girls.  At this point, she hadn’t yet seen Spencer.  Alex had fuly intended to severely hurt/kill Ali in that abandoned house, though Ali was stronger that she thought.  Once the girls were freed from the locked room, Alex finally saw Spencer and she seethed with rage. She realized the true reason behind Jessica betraying her, and instead of leaving town, as she had originally planned, she opted to go back to Radley and devise a new plan. Before she did, she befriended Ian, who was a member of the NAT club.  At that point, she both flirted with Ian, as well as paid him with money provided by Wren, and convinced him to film Alison and her friends. He didn’t understand why “Spencer” wanted to be filmed, though Alex incorporated it as part of her flirting, telling Ian she wanted to see how Ian saw her in his eyes.   Alex’s first priority, however, was still hurting Ali.  Alex/Bethany would never forgive Jessica for having her wrongly commited.  She starts writing to Ali, although when Ali visits Radley to see her, Alex has her roommate(Kimberly Brown) pretend to be “Bethany”.  Ali, being the mean girl she was at the time, enjoys playing with her new toy.
Tumblr media
When Ali begins to get “A” messages (from Mona), she begins to wonder if it isn’t Bethany sending them.  She antagonizes Alex/Bethany through letters and “visits”, making things even worse than the already are.  At the same time, Ali isn’t completely certain that “Bethany” is behind the threats, so after receiving the lipstick note on the mirror, she devies a plan to either expose Bethany or have her take her place.   Ali drops of an exact duplicate of her outfit at Radley, with a note for Bethany to escape and come meet her so they can finally work things out.  Ali figures she and Bethany can either hash things out for good, or that if someone is trying to kill her, having Bethany run around dressed as she is hedges her bets a little bit in case it is someone else threatening her.
Tumblr media
At this point, Alison believes that the other Liars are innocent, and not the ones leaving messages.  That said, she can not have them in her way for all that is about to go down that night.  So, she drugs them. Meanwhile, Jessica receives a phone call that Alex/Bethany has escaped.  She freaks out, and forbids Alison from leaving the house at all.
Tumblr media
Spencer and Ali argue.  Ali walks back towards her house and Spencer walks towards the woods/house.  Melissa hears heard the argument between Ali and Spencer, as do the girls (Aria, Hanna, and Emily), in a drug induced haze. The girls arrive in the bushes in time to see someone dressed like Ali, hit Alison. Mrs. D also sees Alex hit Ali from the window.  Mrs. D rushes from the house as Alex runs away.  The girls, again drugged, begin to chase Ali’s assailant.    Mrs. D, believing Ali dead, buries her.  Mrs. Grunwald pulls Ali from the grave. The girls, chasing Alex through the woods, finally lap back around to the gazebo area and attack Alex.  As they begin to attack her, they start to hallucinate that it is Alison, and finally stop.  They leave Alex’s lifelss body in the gazebo area, and Melissa stumbles across it.  Seeing only the clothes and hair, Melissa thinks Spencer killed Ali, and buries her to hide the evidence.
Tumblr media
At this point, Alex’s roommate, Kimberly Brown, who had escaped from Radley with Alex, leaves their meeting spot and comes looking for Alex to figure out what is taking so long.  She sees Melissa burying Alex, and as soon as Melissa leaves, she digs out the grave and saves Alex.
As it turns out, this was the worst mistake Kimberly could have made.  Alex, now set on burning down everything to do with Spencer, and the other liars, kills Kimberly Brown on the spot, switches clothes with her, and buries Kimberly in the grave.  That way, when her body is found, no one will expect she is alive and able to exact revenge.   At this point, Alex still believes she has killed Alison.
Mona sees Ali walking along the road, sends her out of town.  Ali knows for sure that someone is out to kill her, and that her Mom buried her without hesitation.  There is no reason to stay.
Alex then spends the next year devising a plan to get revenge on the liars for trying to kill her.  She enlists Wren to start dating Melissa, to get his way into the Hastings trust, and to learn more about Spencer.  As it turns out, Wren starts falling for Spencer, which only makes Alex hate Spencer more.
She starts communicating (electronically) with Mona, Lucas, and Jenna, who she learned from the NAT tapes had hated Ali as much as she did, as was also picked on by the liars.   When Aria returns to Rosewood, Alex gently nudges Mona to start sending A messages to the girls again.  She tells Mona that she will be an outcast agin, now that the Liars will be together again. In essence, she sets Mona free on the girls to torture them, knowing at some point she will escalate the game to her own level.
When she notices the DiLaurentis house is sold, and that workers start to dig around the gazebo area, she knows she will need to get ahold of that body to switch around medical records.  “Bethany Young” has to remain dead, or Jessica and/or Peter might start searching for her.   She pays off some cops and people in the morgue and is able to alter paperwork, and steal the body.
She noticed Jessica and Charlotte together, and eventually figures out how Charlotte fits in to the story.   When she first approahces Charlotte, Charlotte does not believe her.  She thinks it is Spencer trying to figure out where Ali is, if Ali is alive, and that she still wants to find her and hurt her.  Once Alex gains Charlotte’s trust, and Charlotte realizes how awful Ali was to Alex, Charlotte becomes a double agent, though doesn’t immediately tell Alex that Ali is still alive.  (Alex is still wondering what happened to Ali’s body)
Alex tries to burn the girls to death in the lodge fire, and that is the night she realizes Ali is still alive.  However Ali goes immediately back into hiding.  Alex then spends Season 4 trying to find Ali, and using the Liars to do so.   It is Alex that kills Mrs. D, and Mary takes the fall for her (as she did for Spencer with Eliot)  Once Alex heard thought Mona (via Shana) that the girls found Ali, Alex knew that Mrs. D that had to die, because Alex couldn’t have Mrs. D spilling the secret that Spencer had a twin.
Alex has also realized that Charlotte had been lying to her about Ali, and that is why Charlotte agrees to “take the fall” as Big A- to protect Alex.  Season 5 up to Charlotte’s reveal is about laying the groundwork to have Charlotte take the fall with everything wrong done towards the girls.  At this point, Alex is mostly done with revenge, and just wants to live her life out with Wren, Mary, and eventually Charlotte (once she is released). Then Charlotte is killed, and Alex is denied her family.  She thinks one of the Liars did it, though doesn’t know which one.  She enlists the help of Mary, Eliot (Charlotte’s true love), and Wren to help figure out who killed Charlotte.   Then... Alex starts to fall for Toby.  While Alex had never really been jeaous of Spencer’s life before (I mean, who would with Peter as a father?), she did start to covet Toby.  There were two problems here- Yvonne and Wren.  Alex believed she could deal with Wren, though Yvonne would have to go.  Therefore, she set up the car accident, and while Toby was knocked out (and before help arrived) further injured Yvonne so that her injuries were mortal.
Next, she had to convince Wren that she would kill Spencer, and take over her life, allowing her to be with Toby.  This met with more resistance than she expected, and she eventually killed Wren, worried that he would tip Spencer off.   Alex knows she is playing the long game with this, and uses Aria and Ezra’s wedding (with Toby’s return) as her in to fully take over as Spencer and work toward getting Toby back.  As for Mary, it could go either way as to whether she knew Alex’s ultimate plan to take over as Spencer until the very end.  I am going to say that until Spencer was kidnapped, Mary did not know, and by then, it was too late.

In my heart of hearts, Ezra Fitz is still A
And this is my take on how it should’ve went down
After Mona went to Radley, Ezra was mad about which direction the book was going in (he was obsessed) so he became A so he could control the story and found it to be more exciting than just writing
He used it to track down Ali and hired Charlotte, and made her think that she was actually Uber A and was the master mind when he was really pulling the strings
He was obsessed with Aria more than the others and wanted to be able to keep her if everyone found out which is why he was slowly trying to isolate her from her friends
When she found out about the book Ezra had to take a break from being A or else they would connect the two, so he hired Shana and handed the reigns over to Charlotte for awhile and orchestrated himself getting shot (tho it wasn’t aimed well) to get back in Aria’s good graces
During the time he gave Charlotte, her working from France at first with Shana, Jenna and others doing her bidding, Charlotte became more obsessed with the power and Ezra lost control of the game
Then the doll house and all that happen
Ezra grows more angry during the flash forward because he still doesn’t have a good ending to his book, not without exposing himself, until Charlotte is released and all the girls are back
He realizes now it’s time to get back in the game but first he has a lose end, Charlotte whom he pushes off the bell tower when Charlotte threatens to tell Ali everything he did
Of course he couldn’t do all of this on his own, he needed someone else who was invested in the girls lives and had access he didn’t (to Radley specifically) and not just a minion, which is where Wren came in
Ezra knew about Wren and him flirting and kissing Spencer so when they happened to be sitting next to each other at a bar and started talking he slipped in that these Rosewood high school girls are such teases
Wren joined team A and gave Ezra access to whatever Radley files he needed and helped Charlotte be able to get in an out without questions
He was already obsessed with the Hastings so working with Charlotte was easy for Wren since she was related to them
It was Wren’s cabin that Ezra used, and also a secondary A head quarters just incase Ravenswood got found
Wren also had his own help, Melissa, who didn’t know quite what she was involved with but she knew it would protect Spencer and Ezra having found out about her burying Bethany when Melissa accidentally confessed it to Wren used it to blackmail her into becoming the Black Widow
As far as Melissa knew, Wren was also being blackmailed because he wanted to protect her and Melissa had no idea Ezra was behind it
Jump forward to when Ezra finally got back with Aria and everyone was happy, he knew it was time to finish the game, the last chapter Which is why he proposed to Aria and tried to rush her into getting married
In his mind she was as in love with him that she would forgive him for everything (which is why he brought the file into play to test her love for him) so as long as they were married she wouldn’t have to testify against him and would also be bound to him
Over time the things Mona had forgotten at Radley were coming back to her and she starts to go off her meds so she can remember
She doesn’t have all the pieces together when she accuses Ezra in front of everyone of being AD, and no one believes her but finding out she is off her medication they decide to get her help and don’t think twice about her accusations
Jump forward a year and Wren goes back to Radley to take care of Mona But Wren doesn’t have the strongest will and Mona convinces him that they need her (same as the show)
Ezra and Aria are about to get married and be all happy so Ezra surprises her with a new house, the one Toby built
Aria is so excited but what she doesn’t realize is the under ground bunker he built, where all his AD stuff is and also would be a comfy place if say your wife finds what you have been up to and you have to keep her somewhere
Spencer goes to the brew and finds Wren there arguing with Ezra in hushed tones (about not killing Mona) she had no idea they knew each other
She confronts them and they make a stupid lie about Ezra spilling coffee on Wren
She asks Wren what he is doing in town and he just says business and tell her he has to leave but they should catch up soon (did I mention the bunker as enough room for two ladies to live comfortably though Wren still isn’t sure which, Spencer or Melissa or hell even Hanna)
Ezra starts acting off, he knows he can’t trust Mona and doesn’t know what she knows, which Aria tries to dismiss as pre wedding jitters but he keeps trying to push up a wedding that’s only two days away
Aria goes to the new house to take some pictures as reference for when she is furniture shopping and such, she goes out back to the tool shed, notices the ground is uneven and finds a secret door in the ground
She goes under and finds everything but what she doesn’t know is Wren is already down there and he hits her over the head, then calls Ezra and tells him they have a problem
Ezra planned to tell Aria everything about the book on their honeymoon and if she reacted badly was going to claim and accident happened where she goes missing but keep her in the bunker (he had practice making someone go missing) but now Aria was in the bunker and he couldn’t just let her out
He goes to the bunker where Aria is terrified and won’t go near him, he thinks she just needs time to cool down
He takes her phone and sends a text to everyone saying “we can’t deal with the wedding stress and everyone arguing, we decided to leave for our honeymoon and elope. I’m sorry and we love you all”
He figures that will keep everyone busy for awhile while he tries to convince Aria to get on board, reminding her how she betrayed her friends for him and how their love story would go down in literary history
In the mean time, the girls are hurt Aria left to get married without them but they understand, except for Spencer who feels like things don’t add up because she had spoken to Aria just a couple hours before and she was excited for the wedding and Aria had invited Spencer and the others to the new house to show them, only giving them the address and not telling them the surprise
The girls all disperse, Emily and Ali talking about how they need to get home to the girls and Hanna to see if she can refashion the bridesmaids dresses into something she can show to a client, though after they leave Spencer realizes Emily’s Fitbit fell off and sends her a text that she will hold onto it til they see each other again and put it in her pocket
Spencer still goes, curious because she recognizes the address and then realizes it is the house Toby built, and even more confused when she sees Wren coming from the backyard and doesn’t even realize Ezra coming up behind her with a needle knocking her out
Spencer wakes up in a cell across from Aria, her phone missing and Ezra & Wren are just standing there
They explain they didn’t want things to work out like this, and once they calm down it is very comfortable and nice in the make shift home they built down in the bunker and when things were settled they could all move away to a much bigger place so the girls would have more room (because they can never actually leave and be free now)
Ezra leaves they each with a book incase they get bored, which is his finished manuscript including the ending he intends to make happen
They jump to the end and read that Ezra plans to be the hero, and pin the entire thing on Spencer, who became AD as a way to keep the girls together after realizing how much she missed them when they came back for Charlotte’s trial and used Charlotte’s death, who she killed, to keep them in Rosewood
He planned to make it seem like Spencer followed them on their honeymoon, making one last use out of Melissa by having her getting on a plane as Spencer so they had her on the flight manifest, and tried to kill Ezra for taking Aria away while confessing she was AD and Ezra, in self defense, pushes her off the side of a cliff
Aria freaks out after reading it while Spencer continues to read through the book, looking for clues about how to get out
Meanwhile, the others grow concerned they haven’t heard from Aria, who should’ve landed and always texts after a flight or Spencer, who wasn’t at home when they checked
Mona shows up and tells them AD is back and is ready to end the game, for good and she knows at least one person helping is Wren but she doesn’t know who AD is yet
They realize at least Spencer was kidnapped and after Caleb can’t pin point her cell phone Emily remembers Spencer has the Fitbit and maybe they can track her with that (might have to bend reality) and Caleb is able to find a location, the house Toby built
The gang minus Mona make their way over, meanwhile Spencer and Aria are trying to break out, Aria tosses Spencer a bobby pin which Spencer can barely reach but manages to get it just before Ezra comes back
He asks how far they are in the book and what they think of it so far, he actually sounds genuine for their feedback
Realizing this is the only chance they might have, Aria tried to distract him by asking him questions about the book while Spencer quietly works on the lock and manages to open it
While Ezra is still facing Aria, Spencer uses her copy to knock him over the head though she knows he won’t be down for long so she opens Aria’s cage and they run not realizing they have no where to go
Above ground, the others get to the house and start to look around when Toby sees the shed and mentions he didn’t build a shed, and why would someone build a new shed before anything else
When they open the shed they see Wren inside who is starting to open the trap door who tries to make a run for it but Hanna manages to trip him and he hits his head on a rock
The guys work on tying him up while the girls look for Spencer, thinking Wren is AD and the bunker would be safe now and they come across Ezra who looks dazed and convinces them that AD kidnapped Aria and himself and that the girls have to get out of the bunker before AD comes back
He starts to lead them out when they run into Spencer and Aria who yell that he is AD, Ezra acts quickly and grabs Ali as a hostage while pulling out a knife
He tells them all to get back to the cells or Ali dies, then tells Ali this whole messes started with her so it should end with her
Behind him is the sound of a gun cocking, aimed right at his head, Mona says “actually this started with me, and I am going to be the one to finish it”
Ezra drops the knife and let’s go of Ali as the police come rushing in and Emily rushes forward to grab Ali
Ezra and Wren are taken into custody, where the both face charges of extortion, stalking, kidnapping, murder, building a creepy bunker without a permit and statutory rape
The girls all agree it’s time to finally leave Rosewood, for good
Forgive me if this sucks, I wrote this during my lunch break on my phone so there may be plot holes by the dozen and grammatical errors but I did this quickly
And I don’t get paid for it nor have years to plan it out but thats another story

But could you imagine how iconic the series ending would be if this was the last scene:
The girls are all together to say goodbye to Aria who is about to go on a three week honeymoon with Ezra. Aria: "guys I'm leaving for three weeks, why is everybody crying?" All the girls laugh and let out another sob at those words. Alison looks at her best friends one by one and says, "I guess it feels like it's the end of something." Everyone grabs onto eachother even tighter and nods while fighting back more tears. Spencer takes a deep breath and speaks up through everyones sobbing, "Even if it really is the end of something, our story will live on in our hearts." She looks up and smiles at Aria who almost wishes she didn't have to go on a honeymoon. "Yeah, well our story will probably also live on in this godforsaking town too for a long time," Hanna says with her infamous hint of sarcasm in her voice. The girls all laugh at this and look at eachother again once more. Emily lets her head rest on Alisons' shoulder as Alison looks at Hanna and then to Spencer. She can't help but put on her bold smile she was most known for when she was younger, and as she takes a deep breath she says, "That's immortality, my darlings." THE END

I noticed something on my rewatch of PLL.
We know the original plan was Wren was A. Marlene even said it herself.
So all these clues lead up to Wren being A in the first, second, and third seasons.
Then they switch the A lair to an apartment for Ezra but he doesn't wear the kind of suits that are in the closet or shoes for that matter but Wren does.
Just a fan theory but maybe Ezra found the A lair and decided to set up his writing board there. We all know Marlene loves placing red herrings when the real answers are out of reach.
This is marlene doing another red herring because Wren was unavailable for shooting. And they wanted to milk it for seven seasons to get money because it could have been wrapped up in a nice pretty bow that made sense in season 3/4 with Wren being available for the A reveal and story of him being Mary Drake's son and his whole FUCKING MOTIVE.
Also, it was confirmed that in the series finale, when Mona says "I never would have guessed it was you." She was talking to Wren, but that doesn't make any sense when they had that strange interaction in season 4 when she gets locked up in Radley again and he shows her the drawing of Mary Drake - if she worked for him, why would she say that, unless of course she didn't really know it was him behind the hoodie? Just another inconsistency.
Yes, i'm still pissed about it. Yes, i will talk about this for hours because we got jipped out of the BEST A reveal/finale/ending of a series that would have been so good if the actor was available and if they would have just cut out such unnecessary bullshit and plot lines that went nowhere and just stuck with the original plan that they wanted. But instead they had to milk it and damn near destroy everything about the show that could have made it amazing in the concept of making more drama/being unnecessary.
I would also love to see A footage. Like Wren being filmed in the black hoodie with Mona. Toby's A stuff. Spencer's A stuff. Aria's dumb so i don't really give a shit about her in all honesty. But more little snippets of A planting evidence and actually seeing them in the black hoodie. Like they could have put it in deleted scenes and had it be released on the dvd box set. They did that for Toby/Caleb/Paige in season 2 with Toby's reveal working for the A team. They could have easily done a shot with Wren and not release it until the deleted scenes/actual ending of season 7 that could have been like "Alternate ending if the actor wasn't in a prior engagement" or some shit. They had time. He was on set.
Just going to watch Wren is A videos on youtube and read some fanfic because I'm still so fucking disappointed in this show's ending. Troian's an amazing actress but the whole twin thing was screaming "we just came up with this three seconds ago and are hoping the audience doesn't notice."
WE FUCKING NOTICED, MARLENE.

custody  is  awarded  to  her  grandpa  ,  christos  ,  and  pretty  much  the  only  family  she’s  ever  known  becomes  the  ratty  neighborhood  she  grows  up  spending  her  evenings  in  .  christos  surviving  on  disability  and  doing  odd  construction  jobs  here  and  there  under  the  table  for  some  spare  spending  money  ,  emerson  spends  most  of  her  days  under  the  supervision  of  the  dysfunctional  families  in  her  neighborhood  ,  all  fucked  up  in  their  own  ways  but  doing  their  absolute  best  .  she’s  reading  the  label  of  the  cigarette  boxes  she  plays  with  as  toy  cars  by  the  age  of  3  ,  chatty  and  curious  ,  always  inquiring  why  the  man  in  the  street  is  laying  there  with  a  spoon  in  his  hand  or  why  the  ladies  on  the  corner  at  night  are  “  dressed  like  its  warm  when  it’s  really  really  cold  outside  ”
christos  enforces  a  strict  no-visitation  policy  for  emerson’s  mom  and  ensures  the  whole  neighborhood  keeps  it  up  ,  although  there’s  very  little  he  can  do  when  the  vagabond  woman  seeks  emerson  out  on  the  playground  at  school  with  playground  attendants  who  clearly  don’t  care  enough  about  their  jobs  to  pay  attention
one  of  emerson’s  earliest  formative  memories  is  her  mother  “  picking  her  up  ”  from  school  and  telling  her  they  were  off  to  go  on  an  adventure  ,  causing  an  amber  alert  to  be  put  out  for  the  then  seven-year  old  emmy  .  watching  her  mother  abandoning  her  on  the  sidewalk  to  bolt  away  at  the  sound  of  the  sirens  approaching  is  something  emerson  recognizes  as  the  beginning  of  her  trust  issues
the  older  she  gets  ,  the  more  she  acts  out  ,  landing  her  eventually  in  a  behavioral  school  in  downtown  chicago  where  she  spends  her  days  learning  just  about  nothing  in  class  and  acts  out  even  more  severely  .  christos  is  at  his  wit’s  end  with  the  visitations  from  police  and  her  behavioral  officer  ,  even  a  brief  stint  in  juvie  not  being  enough  to  curb  the  girl’s  enthusiasm  for  trouble  .
aggression  towards  authority  figures  was  a  major  complaint  ,  but  the  most  severe  issue  became  emerson’s  quick  tongue  and  sharp  observation  .  after  having  learned  a  few  tricks  of  the  trade  from  other  students  at  the  behavioral  school  ,  she  finds  herself  increasingly  talented  at  conning  the  absolute  living  shit  out  of  other  people  .  at  first  it’s  small  things  ,  trading  academic  favors  for  weed  and  somehow  selling  that  for  twice  its  worth  to  the  gullible  students  ,  finding  ways  to  forge  signatures  on  things  she  needs  signed  by  a  guardian  ,  to  the  more  elaborate  and  high  scale  ,  such  as  taking  the  SATs  for  private  school  students  in  the  next  county  over  and  making  BANK  ,  conning  boys  into  trading  off  their  rolexes  which  she  later  pawns  .
christos  puts  her  in  ice  hockey  at  the  recommendation  of  her  juvenile  probation  officer  at  the  age  of  13  ,  which  proves  to  be  one  of  her  saving  graces  .  her  coach  becomes  a  notable  figure  in  her  life  ,  smacking  the  sense  into  the  chaotic  child’s  mind  that  she  can  accomplish  so  much  more  than  she  gives  herself  credit  for  .  her  behavior  interventionist  recommends  an  adhd  screening  for  which  she  finally  gets  a  diagnosis  ,  and  a  prescription  for  adderall  ,  which  marks  the  beginning  of  her  transformation  .
just  before  entering  high  school  ,  christos  and  emerson  are  contacted  by  a  woman  who  identifies  herself  as  her  long  lost  aunt  .  as  it  turns  out  ,  her  hockey  coach  had  done  some  digging  and  found  that  her  father  ,  a  man  em  had  never  once  spoken  to  ,  had  an  estranged  family  located  in  ohio  ,  moguls  of  a  local  architecture  chain  with  political  ties  and  very  well  off  .  wanting  to  branch  out  into  more  metropolitan  areas  ,  they  mention  their  interest  in  moving  to  chicago  ,  and  concoct  a  plan  that  changes  emerson’s  life
thanks  to  some  insider  ties  ,  her  politician  aunt  daphne  has  completely  erased  her  felon  brother  from  any  connection  to  her  ,  and  has  forged  a  life  for  herself  with  her  architect  husband  .  feeling  a  duty  to  her  estranged  niece  (  and  preferring  to  get  ahead  of  any  potential   surprises  that  could  come  from  having  secret  family  derailing  her  political  career  )  daphne  and  christos  come  to  the  agreement  that  emerson  can  be  “  adopted  ”  by  her  aunt  ,  living  as  her  daughter  and  trading  the  slums  she  grew  up  in  for  a  life  of  luxury  and  illusion  .  emerson  learns  to  tell  the  lie  with  ease  ,  “  i  lived  with  my  grandpa  instead  of  my  mom  and  dad  due  to  some  health  complications  that  were  best  treated  at  the  university  of  chicago  medical  center  ,  but  they  spent  as  much  time  as  possible  here  ”
in  order  for  the  lie  to  work  ,  and  possibly  one  of  the  most  difficult  moments  of  emerson’s  life  ,  daphne  regretfully  has  her  cut  off  contact  with  everyone  from  her  “  old  life  .  ”  letting  go  of  a  felon  father  and  schizophrenic  drug  addicted  mother  was  easy  due  to  never  having  attached  herself  in  the  first  place  ,  but  abandoning  the  families  that  raised  her  and  the  hockey  coach  who  changed  her  life  was  among  the  most  painful  thing  she’s  ever  done
she  changes  her  last  name  ,  moves  to  the  upper  class  suburb  of  chicacgo’s  finest  ,  her  con  artist  tendency  making  her  transition  seamless  and  the  illusion  of  fitting  in  so  much  more  than  an  illusion  .  learning  from  those  around  her  ,  emerson  learns  the  exact  things  to  say  ,  the  precise  ways  to  move  ,  and  with  a  newly  funded  bank  account  thanks  to  her  “  parents  ,  ”  she  pulls  off  the  act  with  ease  .  she  moves  up  into  a  premier  hockey  league  ,  achieves  grades  that  catch  the  attention  of  countless  schools  ,  and  transforms  into  a  driven  and  determined  steam  train  ,  with  a  one  way  ticket  into  a  legacy  she’s  built  from  the  ground  up

her  first  few  years  are  a  breeze  ,  her  family  connections  meaning  she’s  set  up  in  countless  places  to  achieve  whatever  she  wants  .  she  gets  an  internship  at  the  medical  center  doing  research  by  her  sophomore  year  ,  is  a  starter  on  their  women’s  hockey  team  ,  and  is  enjoying  the  social  aspect  of  her  sorority  time
shit  TRULY  hits  the  fan  the  summer  before  her  senior  year  ,  when  daphne’s  campaign  for  mayor  of  chicago  is  rattled  by  an  investigation  that  exposes  her  senior  assistant  for  having  embezzled  from  the  city  .  though  daphne  herself  is  innocent  ,  the  political  climate  pushes  for  a  closer  eye  on  the  hemmingways  and  their  dealings  .  a  crisis  manager  (  literally  olivia  pope  lmao  )  does  her  own  research  and  before  emerson  knows  it  ,  she’s  suddenly  thrust  into  her  senior  year  with  absolutely  no  financial  support  from  her  family  .  as  it  turns  out  ,  due  to  the  corners  cut  by  not  formally  nor  legally  adopting  emerson  (  as  it  would  have  left  a  paper  trail  )  ,  the  financial  aid  daphne  provided  would  route  in  a  way  that  would  not  line  up  with  the  birth  certificate  that  showed  emerson’s  birth  parents  as  people  other  than  her  fake  parents  .  not  wanting  to  risk  a  scandal  that  would  make  national  headlines  without  doubt  ,  daphne  and  emerson  devise  an  alternative  where  em  uses  her  academic  and  athletic  prowess  to  earn  scholarships  to  cover  her  schooling  ,  which  can’t  be  traced  and  leave  no  red  flags  for  anyone  trying  to  dig  up  dirt  .
emerson  knows  she  can’t  let  anyone  think  she’s  struggling  ,  both  for  her  own  ego  and  for  the  sake  of  her  aunt’s  campaign  ,  which  is  why  she’s  pushing  herself  to  the  edge  to  keep  up  both  her  academics  and  her  athletics  to  maintain  these  scholarships  .  while  these  cover  the  basic  costs  ,  keeping  up  the  lifestyle  she’s  had  requires  a  bit  more  effort  ,  which  is  where  it  seems  this  tiger  won’t  change  her  stripes  no  matter  how  well  she  had  hidden  them  for  so  long  .  what  started  as  simple  tutoring  turned  into  a  teleportation  back  to  her  behavioral  school  in  chicago  but  on  a  wider  scale  —  she  sells  her  adderall  prescription  to  make  quick  cash  and  offers  her  services  for  fake  test  taking  or  last-minute  essay  writing  .  it’s  high  risk  ,  but  also  high  reward  ,  and  emerson  has  always  thrived  in  high  pressure  situations

Why the switch from loving 13RW to hating it?
Hi, anon. Sorry for not responding before now, got extremely distracted and I didn’t really want to go into this until I felt ready.
I’ve made a few posts on why I’ve gone from loving it to hating it, including a major blog post on my wordpress, and there’s also a YouTube video/vlog I uploaded last night to explain:
http://captain-daniels.tumblr.com/post/173750561968/probably-unpopular-opinion-on-13-reasons-whyhttps://meganlovesfbawtft.wordpress.com/2018/05/13/why-a-second-series-of-13-reasons-why-is-a-bad-idea/https://youtu.be/aDpw24Y3PUg
(Warning; in the YouTube video I look like shit)
But the long and short of it, as I explained in my vlog, is that over the past few months while I’ve been working with my counselor towards recovery, I’ve started to look at the things I watch/read and how it affects my mood, how it can possibly trigger me.
When I watched the first series last year, I was not in a position where I recognized this. At that point, I wasn’t in the mindset of getting better - though I denied it - and so I watched 13 Reasons Why. Looking back, I know the reason I watched it and replayed THAT scene was because I was in a bad place and not wanting to get better.
Since I’m actually making an effort this time around to get better, I re-examined the show, and the trailer for the second series then came out. The fact that there IS a second series goes to show that it’s not about mental health awareness or helping people - it’s about money and views. They already adapted the book’s plot - there’s NO reason whatsoever to make another 13 episodes.
The show is extremely dangerous and triggering to people dealing with depression, self harm, suicide, rape etc. There’s a reason mental health experts have denounced and criticized the show - the people who made the show ignored the advice from mental health experts and actually SHOWED Hannah slitting her wrists open in the most painful and gruesome way possible. In the book, it’s mentioned it’s pills - instead, the show chose to use wrist slitting and actually showing it to appear “edgy” and be gory.
Moving on, the show also romanticizes suicide/mental illness; Clay says that Hannah died because he didn’t know how to love her - which, I’m sorry, is fcking bullshit. Also, when I was at my rock bottom, I wasn’t making some ridiculous mastermind plan that involved blaming 13 people for my suicidal decisions - Hannah takes literally no responsibility for her actions (like the fact she sat there watching Bryce rape Jess) and, at the end of the day, no one on those tapes actually killed her. She made the decision to end her own life, just like anyone who commits suicide does. When I was planning to end my own life, that was MY decision, even though other people may have impacted my thoughts/feelings - I decided, no one else, and to blame other people for it is toxic and disgusting. When i was considering ending my own life, I couldn’t even get out of bed or anything, let alone make all those goddamn tapes blaming people.
Adding on that the show offers no alternatives to suicide; she visits ONE school counselor and decides to give up. And, to be honest, he didn’t actually say anything that bad. Yes, he could have phrased the whole “move on” thing differently, but she refused to tell him the name of the guy who raped her - what can he do? What is he supposed to suggest? Is he supposed to force her into giving a name, potentially triggering her? Yeah, he probably should have gone after her when she left the office, but that still doesn’t make it okay that she then blamed him for being a reason she committed suicide.
This whole second series looks like some Riverdale/PLL bullshit and it’s awful. It’s disgusting.
If the people that are represented in the show (ie mentally ill people/rape victims) can’t watch it, then it shouldn’t be made.
Finally, since I’m talking longer than I planned to, this show DOES romanticize suicide; why the fuck is Hannah still following Clay around as a ghost? Suicide is FINAL. You do NOT float about as a ghost seeing your revenge fantasy playing out if you kill yourself. When you die, you DIE. Gone. There is NOTHING after you kill yourself. This show makes it seem like if you kill yourself, you can see your revenge playing out. (And the revenge fantasy thing is disgusting omg)
This answer is already too long as it is so I’m going to leave it there but feel free to check out the links above, and also the more recent posts in my “13 Reasons Why” tag to explain why I’ve changed my opinion on the show.

Factors Influencing Hair Cabozantinib Concentration Among People Living With HIV in Guangxi, China
These kind of components may result in #Link# an assay having a high predictivity regarding within vivo genotoxicity. The assays along with CHO-k1 and also HepG2 cells had been both evaluated by testing a couple of compounds recommended with the Western Centre to the Validation of Alternative Techniques (ECVAM), amongst which can be throughout vivo genotoxins and also non-genotoxins. The actual CHO-k1 cell range demonstrated an increased level of responsiveness (number of genotoxic compounds that will provided a good result: 80%; 16/20) and nature (area of non-genotoxic substances in which arrived negative: 88%; 37/42). Although the sensitivity from the HepG2 cell range had been reduced (60%; 12/20), the actual specificity has been substantial (88%; 37/42). These kinds of effects were confirmed by #Link# testing a different compilation of Of sixteen genotoxic substances. For both the CHO-k1 as well as the HepG2 mobile or portable collection it was very easy to size-classify micronuclei, which allows distinguishing aneugens coming from clastogens. It is figured that two high-throughput micronucleus assays were produced that can detect genotoxic possible and permit distinction among clastogens along with aneugens. The overall performance scores of the CHO-k1 and HepG2 mobile collections for throughout vivo genotoxicity had been substantial. Application of these types of assays noisy . breakthrough discovery cycle involving substance improvement may possibly end up being a good tactic to evaluate genotoxic probable with an initial phase. An arranged neural extracellular matrix (nECM) encourages neural mobile bond, growth as well as differentiation. Below, we all broadened past observations for the potential of nECM to aid throughout vitro neuronal differentiation, using the subsequent objectives: (my spouse and i) to reproduce intricate neuronal networks of embryonic rat hippocampal tissues, along with (the second) to realize improved amounts of dopaminergic difference associated with subventricular zone (SVZ) neurological progenitor cellular material. Methods: Hippocampal tissues via E18 rat embryos had been seeded upon PLL- and also nECM-coated substrates. Neurosphere cultures have been ready from the SVZ associated with P4-P7 rat canines, along with differentiation involving neurospheres assayed in PLL- along with nECM-coated substrates. Results: Whenever seeded in nECM-coated substrates, both hippocampal tissue as well as SVZ progenitor tissue showed neurological expression habits which were comparable to their poly-L-lysine-seeded counterparts. Even so, nECM-based civilizations of both hippocampal neurons and also SVZ progenitor tissues might be maintained for extended instances as compared with poly-L-lysine-based cultures. Therefore, nECM-based ethnicities provided climb to some more extended neurite arborization associated with hippocampal neurons. Curiously, your prolonged difference time of SVZ progenitor cells inside nECM authorized all of us to acquire a purer population associated with dopaminergic nerves. So there is only one move attainable for the middle slice. Understanding the fundamental transfer notations is important to know the means of restoring the cube. You may have a 1x1x1 Rubik's cube. With the arrival of deep reinforcement learning, many other methods have been proposed in this area. The mortise and tenon methods can be utilized so that the 26 exterior items of the Cube are held together with no central piece at all. Rubik’s mechanism has connections as shown in Figure 7 (c), which greatly simplify the shapes of the items. The structure of the Rubik’s Cube mechanism is probably the most wonderful aspect of the Cube. In this paper, we show that the Rubik’s Cube also has a wealthy underlying algorithmic construction. Product Placement in South-Korean Dramas
Tumblr media
[Hotel Del Luna, 2019] (yes, this is an advertisement for both Swarovski and Subway) South Korean dramas, or K-Dramas, have been popular across Asia for many years. They have gained popularity worldwide with each passing year. Netflix, Hulu, Viki, and other streaming platforms offer subtitles in multiple languages to appeal to an international audience. Imagine this: you’re on the couch, curled up, watching your favorite K-drama. Then the main lead gets ready for a date, do you notice a sudden close-up of their lipstick? Or do the main leads go to the same restaurant, but with a close-up of the coffees with a distinct on them? Think back to other K-Dramas you’ve seen and you’ll realize what I’m talking about. It is known as Product Placement Marketing. Below, I analyze how Korean dramas are used to promote various products and brands indirectly, aka product placement (PLL) as part of a successful marketing mix and relate those findings to personal experiences.
The moment a K-drama is released, Asia is hooked, whether it is to see their favorite actors and actresses appear in yet another setting or if the plot sounds intriguing. Whatever motivates people to watch K-dramas, one thing is clear: Fans want to get the products (or eat the foods) they see on screen. “Subway” is an example of an extremely popular food advertisement in K-dramas. Many of my favorite actors would grab a bite at the local Subway restaurant in K-dramas.

[Descendant of the Sun, 2016] I'm fascinated to see how much product placement is used in Korean dramas and how they have evolved over time, as I've never seen this in American or Ukrainian series. South Korea's food-related advertising is often aimed at Seoul and other surrounding cities, such as tiny local cafes and ramen restaurants. Specific product placement is not effective internationally unless it is something big like "Subway."
Instead, things like:
fashion brands and the general “asian style”
jewelry (usually brands like Bvlgari, Swarovski, Cartier, etc.)
skincare products like cleansers, toners, moisturizers
makeup; whether it’s specific brands or singled-out products
hairstyles/cuts
Korean snacks
are more appealing to international fans. It is easier to get products like this outside of South Korea. There are dedicated websites and social media pages to discover who is wearing what, where to buy them, and alternative items to consider for a lower price. I’ll link a few examples at the end of this article!
Many easier-to-get items are sold out shortly after a series or movie is aired. As long as an item can be shipped overseas, product placement is very effective on both Asian and international watchers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A very solid example of product placement boosting brand sales is with actress Song Hye-Kyo who starred in K-drama "Descendants of the Sun". The actress wore a two-tone lip bar by a Korean cosmetic brand named "Laneige" in an episode. With the airing of that episode, that lip bar became a bestseller in stores in South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and Singapore, as well as online overseas stores.
The number of searches on the specific lipstick had risen to 11 since the episode aired, according to a research study conducted by Laneige's parent company "AmorePacific".
In Song Hye-Kyo's case, the initial appeal may have been emotional since the actress was known to viewers both locally and internationally.
Tumblr media
[Song Hye-Kyo for Laneige]
In every K-drama, these strategies are used and they never fail. Direct marketing, catalogs, and social media PR are being used to boost demand yet further. When a product is featured in a K-drama, the companies post to social media to amplify sales and interest; sometimes even asking actors to endorse their products and perhaps even creating whole new lines of products. They create a sense of trust and it may not matter what the product is, or even in some cases, if it is falsely advertised.
Associations will not be made in the moment of purchase since the emotional connection to the person promoting the product may be stronger.
Several skin-care and makeup products I purchased were influenced by K-dramas, however, I had no idea that every cushion foundation is suited for everyone's skin, and not every matte lipstick stays on for 24 hours as shown in many K-dramas.
Since K-dramas are made for entertainment, not advertising, they rarely provide enough information about the product. Often, viewers are misled without realizing it. Therefore, as a consumer you must do some research before buying. Don't let your favorite South Korean beauties fool you ;) (links to website WIP) References:

AU Season 7
Hello guys! I wanted to announce that I've started a fanfiction that re-writes season 7 completely. Instead of picking up right where season 6 ended, I decided to do a time-jump (I know, NOT ANOTHER time jump). But it's only by a year and is the only time jump for the rest of the season. In my season, the Liars have went their seperate ways again due to Hanna's disappearance. They each have led different lives.
Aria is single and on her way to becoming head editor at her publishing company in Boston. Spencer has recently become a lawyer, but can't seem to find the strength to start her own practice due to the grief she still feels about Hanna's disappearance. Mona is also a lawyer and takes big cases across the US while managing to stay in contact with Hanna's mother (Yes, Mona is OFFICIALLY a Liar in my season). Emily stayed in Rosewood as she didn't have much of a plan like the others and continued to work at the Brew. But now, she has a plan that will shock her family and friends. And, Alison is now a journalist and with some of the money from the Carrisimi Group, started her own family journaling business titled "Dilaurentis' Journaling".
Even after a year, no news comes up about Hanna so the town decides to host a memorial for her and the Liars return back to Rosewood for their best friend's memorial. But in true PLL-fashion, when the Liars return, so does AD.
Unlike the original season, this focuses more on the mysteries, unsolved plots, past storylines, connections between characters, and characters that stopped showing up like Mike and Wren. But romance is definitely still there and in places you would least expect.
Can you please check it out and share your thoughts on my take of season 7? I'd greatly appreciate it loves! :)

Dot Net Questions on Web Config
Microcontrollers are generally dedicated to a specific purpose, so while they're really flexible devices today, there are numerous various (often conflicting) choices for how you may need the hardware to work. You might think that setting is completed in application, but what if you would like the hardware to act a certain way from ab muscles begin? Keeping in mind that Microchip PIC devices can "boot" in a matter of milliseconds, there wants to become a way you showing the equipment how exactly to act prior to it beginning up. This information addresses how to truly get your microcontroller based task working how you expect when it starts up.
Enter config parts, or, while they was once named, openbullet configs . Back in the occasions when microcontrollers were program-once products, you really did blow a fuse to be able to program them. Today, many micros have display memory which can be designed thousands of instances, but you can find however one-time-programmable (OTP) products about.
Regardless, there's a bunch of "config words" that define how the micro will probably act from the get-go. Let's search at some of those choices (we'll choose the PIC18F2620 being an example) and then see just how to plan them. Sourceboost offers you most of the config strings in a ready-to-use structure for including in your project. The format gets the config portions suffixed with the exact same name as the config word in order to ensure that the right portions are getting in the best word. Obviously, your config words will undoubtedly be different if you're using a various microcontroller, but you need to understand enough here to stage you in the proper direction.
In the 18F2620, the config pieces are stored in flash, but at a higher storage location. They're stored at 0x300001 and upwards. For historical causes because of the way memory once was fixed on PIC microcontrollers, config words are numbered with each number having a "high" and "low" byte.
CONFIG1L doesn't occur on the 18F2620. When it did, it would stay at 0x300000 location.
CONFIG1H includes bits that establish oscillator options. Typically, in Embedded Adventures tasks we try and use external crystals which give more appropriate and trusted results. This does burn up two pins but, and often these may be more crucial compared to pace at that the processor is running. The outside crystal oscillator is referred to as the HS oscillator (if you're doing the typical issue of trying to operate the micro as rapidly because it can go). In the 18F2620, you can even enable the PLL component which will give you a four-times speed boost. From CONFIG1H will also be alternatives to enable the fail-safe time monitor (that changes to the internal oscillator if the outside one crash, and a choice to enable the converting between various oscillator sources.
We typically recommend that you utilize an additional crystal, and turn off any oscillator changing / failover modes. In prototyping, it is essential to own trusted, repeatable effects (mostly so you can decrease the axes of error). It is probable to arrange the 18F2620 to launch utilising the internal oscillator (which runs at 8Mhz, or 32Mhz with the PLL enabled) and then switch to the outside one (we work with a 10Mhz crystal with PLL enabled providing you 40Mhz). That provides you quicker start-up from stops in sleep style or on bootup, if that's crucial, except for prototyping, that is typically maybe not necessary.
Our recommended config string for CONFIG1H:
#pragma DATA _CONFIG1H, _OSC_HSPLL_1H & _IESO_OFF_1H & _FCMEN_OFF_1H
CONFIG2L grips brown-out reset and the ability up timer. Brown Out Reset (or BOR) is the power for the microcontroller to reset it self if the supply voltage comes under a specified threshold. It will remain in reset state before supply goes back over the threshold. This may mean some battery keeping (at least, after the battery is level beyond a particular level, it'll end draining power as quickly) - but at that point there's number functionality available anyway. The power on timer waits on initial power-on for the present to get above the BOR voltage limit, then weighs around for another 65ms before stopping points off for real. This assists ensure that the power is regular before wanting to perform any code.
We've seen some pretty unpredictable effects from the 18F2620 when testing some LED display panels. We believed the software was crashing or resetting the micro when in reality, what was occurring was the BOR had been tripped as more LEDs were lit and the ability present dropped. As a result, until you've got a real dependence on it, we recommend switching it off. Leaving the energy present to settle before starting the firmware, is generally a good idea (you're probably not likely to notice the 65ms it takes).
#pragma DATA _CONFIG2L, _BOREN_OFF_2L & _BORV_2_2L & _PWRT_ON_2L
CONFIG2H offers you adjustments for the watchdog timer. This is a timer that resets the PIC in a specific amount of time (you can largely establish the length of time that might be). It may be excellent intend to reset your PIC if you're doing something from that you simply might never retrieve - while preferably you're written sufficient signal that cannot occur! Alternatively, the watchdog timer can also draw the PIC out of sleep mode. This implies you are able to prepare for the PIC to get to sleep for a certain amount of time (if nothing else happens). For prototyping, we recommend switching the watchdog timer off. Should you choose permit it, make sure you reset the watchdog timer regularly or - effectively, you are able to imagine what will happen.
#pragma DATA _CONFIG2H, _WDT_OFF_2H & _WDTPS_128_2H
CONFIG3H has an accumulation configuration items. You can pick for the RE3 flag to be accessible (as input only) and for that flag to be MCLR (which resets the micro when taken low). For prototyping, to be able to reset the micro by pressing a key now is easier than pulling the energy out.
The LPT1OSC bit allows the choice of a "large power" setting or perhaps a "reduced power mode" ;.The lower energy method is more sensitive in high sound environments. So if battery usage is vital, you will need to style your circuit carefully. For prototyping, obviously, we'd recommend leaving this in large power mode.
PBABEN, allows you to establish if PORTB pins 0 - 4 must wake up as analog input pins or digital pins upon reset. Needless to say you can modify that in pc software in the ADCON1 register at any time.
The CCP element is really a Catch / Compare / PWM component and your final CONFIG3H bit allows the "steering" of this output to be on sometimes RC1 or RB3. This really is convenient to be able to modify in the event that you require one other efficiency on one of these brilliant pins (RB3 can also be analogue input 9 and RC1 can be Timer 1 oscillator input). Alternately, your PCB layout may be simpler if you could shift this productivity to at least one or the other. For prototyping, typically this doesn't matter sometimes way.
#pragma DATA _CONFIG3H, _CCP2MX_PORTC_3H & _PBADEN_OFF_3H & _MCLRE_ON_3H
CONFIG4L includes some interesting alternatives and reveals really clearly how crucial it is to be able to arrange the PIC before startup.
The DEBUG touch enables equipment debugging. You can stage through code, set breakpoints and so on - when you yourself have your application collection precisely and that bit cleared. Hardware debugging also involves the unique use of RB6 and RB7 (also used for ICSP programming). In most honesty, we see that successive production is generally adequate to get bugs, although you are able to debug plenty of PICs with merely a PicKit2.
XINST allows for the 18F prolonged training collection mode. That isn't utilized by Sourceboost and in the event that you switch it on in error (regardless of the compiler you're using) you will have some fairly unstable results. Among our viewers used days trying to find that which was wrong together with his code and then realize the XINST touch was set.
LVP gives you the ability to plan the PIC using ICSP without requiring the "higher" Vpp voltage. There is a catch however - you will need to devote the RB5 flag (PGM) to being an indicator if you are in programming mode or not. Provided the PicKit2 yields the right voltage anyway, there doesn't seem to be lots of value in converting this on for prototyping purposes.
Ultimately, the STVREN offers the option of having the PIC reset if the bunch overflowed or underflowed. If, like, you contact too many stacked operates, it allows the PIC to reset. When reset, you can study why the PIC reset and report a fault. We suggest making that on - if your PIC shoes in the center of performing anything, you are able to reasonably think that you've used up the bunch room (possible when you're serious in a stacked condition and then an stop occurs).

What Is a Qualified Settlement Fund?
Tumblr media
An accomplished Ohio-based attorney, Bethany Palmer Recht leverages nearly 15 years of legal experience to serve as a partner with Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL. In this role, Bethany Recht counsels clients on matters such as claims administration, insurance coverage recovery, medicare compliance, as well as issues related to settlement trusts and qualified settlement funds. A qualified settlement fund (QSF), is a trust established under Section 468B of the Internal Revenue Code that provides plaintiffs and their legal representatives with more time to plan over the end of litigation. It allows for more structured and easier settlement arrangements. In exchange for a general release, a defendant pays into the QSF an agreed-upon settlement sum. As a result, they and their insurers are no longer involved in the litigation or post-settlement decisions. Plaintiffs can take as much time as they need to examine their settlement alternatives and, if appropriate, how to retain their eligibility for government assistance. Qualified settlement funds are quickly establishing themselves as the new industry standard. Since their introduction in 1993, they have been backed by case law and in practice across the country and are explicitly sanctioned by Section 468B of the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations.
