For your first question, the best way to start encouraging engagement is to interact with others first. Find other blogs whose art you enjoy and follow them. Reblog and like their art and over time you may be followed back and have your art reblogged and liked in return. It takes a lot of energy but it'll help you build a spot in the art community and it is pretty much the only way Tumblr posts will for sure reach others. Also make sure to tag your art, which is how I ran across you!

For your next question, yes! I'd love to see more of your art! Just draw something that you enjoy making! If you tag me I'll be sure to reblog. <3

Hey, everyone. It's Plzreblogpeplsart, and I'd like to talk to you all about why I haven't been as active as I usually am. I don't want to go too into things, so I'll just keep this part brief. Life has been hectic lately. I've got new projects and new things going on in my life that I've been trying to balance in addition to this blog. As much as I love this blog and want to help all of you, I also want to be able to pursue my own projects, take breaks for the sake of my mental health, and be there for the people I care about. I'm not going to leave or disappear from Tumblr, nor am I going to stop reblogging art to help other artist's work more attention. I just want you all to know that sometimes I may need a break from it all once in awhile. This break has just been especially long since I've been trying to achieve so much more. Normally I don't like going on tangents like this, but it seems like some of the people in this community want to simply follow me for the sake of their own art getting attention and nothing more. I don't hold anything against those people for that, but I'd like you all to understand that I have to give other people their chance to shine too. If you followed me for the sole purpose of boosting your art alone without considering that I also have to let others have their chance to share their creations or even the fact that I may sometimes have to step away to take care of my own life, you're missing the whole point of why I started this blog in the first place. I'm not mad at you for this, but just wanted you to know that if that's why you're here. We're a community that helps each other find fellow creators and an audience, not a community that relentlessly competes with one another for the attention of the admin only to take their anger out on them when that need for attention isn't met. I was hoping I'd never have to make a post fully explaining everything like this, but it appears that this is what it's come to, unfortunately. To prevent things like this from happening like this in the future, please just don't follow me if you're one of these people that only cares about your art and not the supportive community we're trying to build. That's all. Let's keep the community wholesome, ok?

Just thought I should let some of you know this. I'll have to end up skipping your blog when you the time comes for me to reblog your stuff if you don't have your art account linked/mentioned in bio/pinned post, if you don't have an art tag that will allow me to filter through other posts, or if you don't @ me in the tag list for your work. Having a specific art tag like ' #yourblogart ' also helps if you reblog a lot of other art. Anyways, it's entirely up to you as to whether or not you choose to do this. It just makes things easier for the man running this blog!

Edit: There are other reasons for stuff not getting reblogged too such as posts not being appropriate and whatnot, but that should be pretty obvious as to whether or not that's the reason why.

No...thank you for the wonderful comment! It's what keeps me able to do stuff like this on this blog even though I have anxiety issues that make me think about deleting the blog because it's not good enough- I try my best to help people out, but it hasn't been easy to see that resulting in anything positive recently since people tend to not want to stick with this blog if I don't reblog their stuff often enough... Know that if this does happen, as rare as that may be, it's because I'm going through my own stuff, and scheduling posts straight for like an hour to two hours is really tedious, especially when I'm not feeling great. Anyways, sorry about the rant and thank you again; it means so much. <3 Having someone actually want to tag me in their work is great.
