I am approaching the end of two extremely long-term (so so much longer-term than I thought they would be, dear CHRIST) creative projects by chipping away at my progress agonizingly slowly day-by-day,

and I'm so close now that at this point, when I talk about it, I am starting to sound like an old man yelling into the wind at the beginning of a supernatural thriller movie, like

HEED MY WORDS. ONE DAY. AND ONE DAY SOON, THE PROPHECY SHALL FINALLY COME TO PASS. THE LAST PIECES SHALL FALL INTO PLACE, AND THE STORY WILL BE COMPLETE. THEN, YOU'LL SEE. THEN YOU'LL ALL SEE.

#original #the blacksmith #actually the story won't be complete at all I will just have finished a series of chapters that have been giving me trouble for like 2 yrz #I wish that was hyperbole but it is not. I've been working on other parts of the story in the meantime #but also I've been spending most of my energy keeping myself and my partner alive so there were certain priorities to consider #i cannot express how frustratingly slow my writing has been. and all bc of life threatening illness. #poppycock. how dare i respond to trauma like it is traumatic?? /j #the other project is a 20-minute Dragon Age animation that I started in 2019. because I'm fucking crazy #I have been waiting to play the rest of the games until I finish this Dragon Age Origins animation. fucking. banana balls. #I just need a few more hours of writing and I'll finally have two full arcs of my graphic novel scripts published with concept art #if i could only focus for more than a few minutes a day. but it'll get better. things are not so dire as they have been #also by 'you'll all see' i ofc mean 'several of you will see!!' but it's a start
