this video is a a part of the polyship au A.K.A. the PSAU -- a part that i HAVEN'T written yet. the series however is 18+ despite this video not being so.

For some lore reference points, if some aspects make no sense at all:

+ this is an alternate timeline within the PSAU itself where Ink grows attached to Killer, but once Nightmare finds out he's either given the decision to never interact with Killer again or spend as much time as he wants with him, at the cost of Ink instead choosing to work for Nightmare. Ink chooses the latter.

+ Nightmare keeps control of Ink by limiting his paint supply severely. Ink is only allowed the minimal amount of red and blue paints, just enough to keep his body functioning; and red and blue both represent anger and sadness, which is negative feelings that Nightmare continues to use to keep gaining strength.

+ the human in the video is known as "the creator," which was once Ink's friend at an earlier point in time. However, now the creator is more attached to Nightmare than Ink and doesn't really care that he's being literally abused and tortured for Nightmare's gain; and Ink has forgotten about the creator almost entirely, so he doesn't really comprehend the betrayal very well, but doesn't trust them anymore.

+ the Error at the end, who later in his story takes the name "Neon," is written by my friend @tatatale9929 (also tatatale on Tumblr), and he accidentally stumbled upon this AU and thought for a moment the Ink he found here was the one back from the AU he came from.

Yeah of course! Don't mind the terribly done watermark, by the way, I had to edit this on my phone 😂 I'll get a nicer reference done at some point.

But, ta-da, here he is! It's a design I came up with for @ut-polyship which has been under a huge overhaul behind the scenes. And this gosh darn man has taken up 90% of the plot, so it's mostly focused on him now /wheeze

I have a lot more outfits and characters designed for this AU that I'm very excited to share ✨️ I've been working on it with my friends during RP sessions and am currently trying to tie together the rest of the plot pieces so the story is cohesive... because it sure wasn't before.

For the ut-polyship blog/thing, I know u said it focuses on Ink a lot now, but will it still focus on Classic Sans & Lust? I love me Classic a lot, esp. how u write him, & I was enjoying the stuff w/ him so far on that blog. As for Lust, well, I love Lust, & I love how u write him (ur'e 1 of the best for Lust content/stuff). Don't get me wrong, I love Ink a lot, but I love Classic more, I will admit this, & I have grown to really like Lust bc of u (& Goldie, Nurse!Lust, Daddy Lust, VanGold's).

There's a few branching stories and they can be read totally separately! Fair warning that some of the fics are 18+ though so I will not link them here.

The fic that will have Sans and Lust in it is "Friends with 'Educational' Benefits," (18+) and is a kind of messy love triangle... which, if you could guess based on the AU name, becomes a poly relationship 😂

There will also be "Cherri" when I get around to writing it, which will be an alternate timeline of sorts connected to Ink's storyline. It'll focus on Ink, Lust, Sans, and the human all learning how to be a family together, and will technically be a sequel to FWEB.

If you didn't wanna read anything with Ink in it, honestly you can totally just ignore his stories altogether and still read parts of the PSAU. Basically, it's just supposed to be an alternate multiverse of sorts. There's also a story that will heavily focus on the human and Sans before FWEB, too!

Sketchdump of stuff with a KillInk shipkid I designed a little while ago! I actually initially wanted to use this concept (soulless but with Determination) for a ErrInk shipkid but... somehow it changed??

Anyway, these are some sketches based off of some RP’s done with friends and also some of just Dye’s general backstory I had in my head. For also some clarification, there are two different Inks and two different Killers depicted above. Breaker (with the blue Soul) and the Ink in the first comic with him aren’t Dye’s parents. 

And yes... the Bad Sans!Ink is Dye’s parent. I thought the concept would be fun, eheh. I don’t have much for him, but basically, in exchange for being able to stay close with Killer, Ink works for Nightmare. He is only allowed the most minimal amount of paint to keep him alive, and usually it’s just the ones that have Ink feel negative emotions. So his default eyelight colors are a pastel blue and a pastel red.

Congratulations, assholes, you set your kid up for a lifetime of anxiety and self-doubt. Was it worth it? (Anyhow, I hope Grant at least had siblings. That sounds like a very lonely way to grow up otherwise. And that he’s since unlearned the idea that he’s a slacker if he does things he enjoys.)

He was a single child, so no luck there. The studio may have been stressful, but it at least gave Grant some friends.

His insecurities followed him well into adulthood, but he was quite professional about it so you wouldn't be able to tell until things escalated with the Ink Machine.

In PSAU he's getting help and he's slowly learning what an actual family should be like.
