This was your first New Years Eve with someone else. You had never had a serious enough relationship to spend it with someone other than your family.

This year you would be spending it with Charlie. He was ecstatic when you decided to spend the day with him. It was going to be perfect, he was going to be your first New Years kiss.

You planned on staying overnight with him, so you had packed some clothes and the essentials for the night.

When you got to his house, you were immediately wrapped in a giant bear hug.

"I'm so excited for today!"

You giggled at his cuteness and snuggled into him.

"Me too Char."

The day had been spent cuddled up with Charlie, watching a whole bunch of Christmas movies. You had refused to watch them, after all, Christmas was over, but he ended up convincing you with the offer of unlimited cuddles.

You stayed like that the entire day, completely entangled in each other, enjoying each others company.

When it was time for the ball to drop, Charlie stood you up, holding your face in his hands as you counted down together.

"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, HAPPY NEW YEARS!"

Charlie immediately pressed his lips onto yours, sighing contently as he kissed the love of his life while starting a whole new year.

When you finally pulled apart, the grin never left Charlies face.

"Happy New Years baby."
