Hi can u please rant about your favorite thing about Morbius? He seems really cool but I don't know squat about where to start 👉👈

YES YES YES I WILL!

One of my favorite things about him is how he’s often the antithesis of a vampire and is a victim of circumstance.

While he is obviously a “living vampire,” he doesn’t really act like a vampire. He’s genuinely a kind man who seeks to cure himself of his condition instead of relishing in the idea of vampirism. There’s obviously the physical differences too, like him being fine in the sunlight and still being able to eat garlic (he actually mentions liking it in Morbius (2013) #1, which is just a little fun fact). While he is selfish in many scenarios, it’s never an extreme selfish action like that of your normal vampire. In fact, he’s attempted suicide on multiple occasions to both save himself and others from his bloodlust.

As for being a victim of circumstance, I think Spider-Man puts it best:

(Though I’m going to be entirely real, spider-man needs to stfu about “Oh I can’t stop saving people” like there is a VERY big difference between moral obligation and biological needs)

Okay! Now that I’ve told you what I like about him, let’s get on to the recommendations.

Here’s the solo runs: Although I do think the Morbius (2013) run is flawed in some aspects, it’s probably the easiest point to jump into the character. The 1992 run and 2020 run are also essential, and Morbius: Bond of Blood (2021) are gonna be some key points to go over, too.

As for Morbius stories in other books, Marvel Zombies 4 (2010) and Amazing Spider-Man (1999) #622, #679.1, #699.1 and #688-#690 are essential. Plus his very first appearance in Amazing Spider-Man (1963) #101.

Keep in mind that these are just starting points. There’s a ton more content, but I’m not gonna tell you to jump straight into Adventure into Fear because… you’re gonna need stamina for that one… Maybe I’m just a tiny tot but my brain shut down while trying to read the dated language.

Your relationship with Raph is really good to say the least

You liked watching him train, you thought he looked really cool and so you looked up to him

You couldn't participate in training because of the dangers of it, so you'd secretly reference the snapping turtle at home

You and Raph like to show off your stuffed toys

It makes Raph glad he isn't the only one who finds comfort in these small pillow animals

You climb on his back every now and then because of how tall he is

He freaks out because he doesn't want his spikes to hurt you

You reassure him and after a while, he got used to it and just lets you do it whenever

He tries not to crush you when he hugs you

You told him that head pats were just fine since it didn't require him to use much strength

He was still afraid but after a while, showing affection like this was acceptable to him

He was like your big brother now, taking care of you just like he does to his brothers

He invites you over with April to watch Lou Jitsu since he wants you to be an even bigger fan than all of them

(And so they can decide which movie is better)

Leonardo:

The both of you got along well

TOO well

The two of you were just as chaotic to say the least

Pulling pranks, throwing jokes here and there just to annoy everyone

Leo was just glad he can share this energy with someone else

The both of you would have movie marathons almost everyday when you could

Lou Jitsu and Jupiter Jim movies were a must

If you recommended a movie, he would watch it and give you his feedback on how awesome it was

It's rare, but he lets you take some of his most valuable comic books so you can read them in your free time to catch up so he can rant all about it to you

The both of you were inseparable

It sometimes even made April rant about how Leo was taking you away from her, and that you might even replace her with him someday

Leo would boast about it and would even ask if you can watch him skateboard just so he can show off how cool he is

Leo's notifications at 4 AM would wake you up and you wouldn't be able to fall back asleep

You'd both end up sending each other memes or videos that you thought were funny

He'd eventually start calling you "Little sis" just to annoy April, and it worked!

Donatello:

He's too smart

His brain is far too complicated to get along with

But of course, you found your way around and actually became good friends with the boy

When you couldn't get something on your homework, you'd ask him for help

He doesn't mind of course, he actually enjoys his time spent with you even if he never shows it

Since he does not like what he calls "Togetherness", he usually pats you on the head with his hook he created to say "Good job" when you got something correct

You'd sometimes sneak into his lab to watch him make his new inventions

He doesn't seem to mind as long as you don't interrupt him

He'd sometimes even go on a rant on how he makes them

He's actually really glad someone appreciates his work seeing as you never judged or looked bored with how much he talked about his inventions

Even if you don't get what he's saying most of the time, you're really trying

He actually appreciates your help with taking care of Sheldon when he can't

You're like the little assistant he never knew he needed

Michelangelo:

This guy absolutely adores you

Mikey loves giving surprise hugs every time you're over

He invites you over almost everyday to draw or paint with you

And even if you didn't draw, he'd teach you or tell you whatever you create is art

He likes cooking with you since it's his hobby

Running around and having fun in the kitchen is definitely something he enjoys when spending time with you

He of course cleans up the mess afterwards with your help

He absolutely loves teaching you how to cook so you can make it for yourself later on

When you get permission to stay over, he'd make a pillow fort with you and grab his tablet to watch Stock Boy's new scary videos

You'd both go into the arcade room to beat each other's scores

He'd go easy on you, but that was only sometimes since he's just too nice

He is the therapist of the family, so if you need to talk, he's there

You'll receive Dr. Feelings, or Dr. Positive depending on the situation

Seeing Dr. Delicate touch was rare, he doesn't want to scare you away with the truth

He likes to draw you stickers and make you pins, so please do put them on your phone case or backpack so it's visible to the eye

He really likes sharing his creations with you <3

I love it when fans react to their favorite characters being mentioned. Especially the rants. Seeing what people have to say about their favorite characters is my favorite part of running this tumblr account? I don't know what it's called.

Also I don't know what a love life is but according to google it's a romantic comedy television series that got cancelled after two seasons to cut costs.

The Blind Wanderer

Remember my last post about my AU? Well,I decided to make something from it,enjoy! :3 ------------------------------------------------ Wander felt Sylvia stop,the sound of the wind whistling in his ears perked the Star Nomad's head up. He turned his legs to slid off his best pal's saddle,his sneakered feet landing delicately on the soft ground. The helpful traveler smelled the air,the scent of cotton candy and fresh tofu dogs wafted into his nostrils,it put a smile on his face. A tap of his foot,Wander could feel the vibrations,buildings...no,tents came into his minds eye,it was hard from where he was, but he could make out people too,either very short aliens,or small children,possibly both! Wander could hear fire crackling,as well as music,perhaps a bonfire! The little wanderer couldn't contain his excitement "Wow! What a neat lil town! And there's some kinda carnival! Maybe with games, and rides,and-" "And rotting in one of Lord Hater's cells for the rest of our LIVES? Sorry Wander,I don't think so." The Nomad heard Sylvia say,added with a shake he heard from her brittle. The Zybornak huffed "Everywhere we go,he's conquering planets,takin' over cities, and being a flarf narblin' no fun havin' JERK!" Wander could tell she was ranting now, and decided to head on ahead,his best friend being too distracted at the prospect of bashing in the overlord's skull in. He slid down the hill with ease,making his way to strut down towards a group of people,based on they're vibrations,they were all adult males, though Wander was much taller than them. "Howdy fellas! Folks call me Wander, and We really like your lil' town!" He stopped,pointing to one of the men,but even at the moment,Wander could tell his hand was a little off,so he moved it slightly "What's yer name?!" Instead of a reply,one of the tiny men grabbed him by the torso,he heard one shout "Take him to Lord Hater!" It was proceeded by a crowd wave (much to Wander's literal pain in the back) chanting a constant "Hates great! Best Villain!" And so on. Wander held back a gasp at the familiar chant, Lord Hater must be a fan of Jeff! How sweet! He'd have squealed in delight if it didn't feel like his back was getting punched. "Oh it's ON you lil' scuzzmonkeys! RAHHH!!!" Wander heard Sylvia from what he could only guess was the hill he'd been at earlier. The cheerful traveler made a position,making the punching pain,into a blissful massage, making him let out a satisfied purr "Oh yeah... that's the stuff,oh yessss." The Star Nomad laid down more comfortably with his hands behind his head "Thanks fellas, mah back has been killin' me for DAYS! But, travelin' will do that to ya,right? HEY SYLVIA! Right?" "RIGHT! LEFT,RIGHT,LEFT!!!" He chuckled to himself "It's fun an' all,but sometimes ya just need ta kick back and re-laaaax! Don't you ever think the constant 'hates great! Best villain! Fix gait! Needs drilling! Taste cake! It's fillin' date Kate,she's willing!' Should just STOP?" The wave stopped and he felt all eyes on him, literally. Glad to get they're attention,he pointed to where he hoped the fair was with a smile "So you can finally have a day off, and enjoy the FAIR!" His aim must've been off,as one of the smaller aliens moved his hand slightly,he could feel the men practically beam,which put a smile on Wander's own face. Within seconds,the men (which he later found out were called Watchdogs,apparently having an eye for a head) put him down and the fun had begun! Wander had been right,it there were all kinds of rides and games,there was even a stand selling his favorite,triple pickle cream pie! All the Watchdogs were having fun,too! It seemed like the most fun they'd had,though Wander didn't ask,he wasn't one to pry. The Nomad held Sylvia's reigns as the duo walked towards another game "Wow,THAT was a blast,ha ha!" Wander smiled,when- "HALT IN THE NAME OF LORD HATER!" The voice was right in front of him,he could feel Sylvia become tense while also backing up. Wander tapped his foot three times,the voice definitely belonged to a male,in fact,he seemed to be another Watchdog,but slightly smaller, and something comically large was on his head...a hat perhaps? He couldn't contain his excitement as he smacked the blaster the Watchdog pointed at him with a smile on the little Nomad's face "Look it you and yer lil' hat!" Without warning,he grabbed the tiny man with a squeal of delight "Your so cute,I can't stand it! TRADE!!!" In an instant,Wander swapped his hat with the Watchdog's,which felt like metal,a cold sharpness on the top,a helmet apparently. The switch now showed Wander's cloudy,grey eyes,it made the tiny commander do a double take "What the..." He's blind. Holding out a camera he'd reached into his hat for,he asked with a grin "Shall we preserve the moment?" With a hearty laugh,Sylvia readied the camera "Say cheese!" Peepers frantically waved his arms in panic "WAIT,NOT THE FLASH,NOT THE FLASH!!!" Too late,with the picture taken,Wander had switched hats back and was now dancing unceremoniously with Sylvia following his lead, while little Peepers screamed in agony,holding his eye in pain. A sudden strike of thunder and Sylvia being hit and flying towards one of the tents made Wander stop,giving his foot a good tap. Towering over him was Lord Hater himself, though his rant of his evil deeds only made Wander tilt his head and smile kindly. Without a second of hesitation,Wander ran up to the evil overlord,wrapping his thin arms in a hug,he could feel soft,smooth fabric,a cloak,as well as boney arms,a skeleton. This will only lead to good things,he could tell. Wander could see more than people give him credit for.
