LISEYYYY haii SUI HUNTER UPDATE!!! first one in like months phew i've really been slacking... i'm sure you must've missed these lol. i'm on 197 rn i'm catching up. uhhh A LOT'S HAPPENED SINCE THE LAST ONE well let's see. umm i really liked seeing the civilizations progress and developing modern societies with governments and businesses and theatre companies and whatnot. warms my heart really i know how kgj must feel. sort of who can really understand what's going through that freak's head other than raviel. speaking of her nice to see gongja is still whipped like always. sooha starting to become depicted as a good guy in the plays riling kgj up so much was pretty funny even though i get why. ssonia really got to me for some reason i know technically he (she. technically. w/e) was a minor character but still i was #touched. i'm really interested to see where the thing with the tower's aura musical theatre thing is going to go... AND i was so happy with the black dragon master and the count and gongja having that buddy buddy scene where they just got drunk and brainstormed and hung out and schemed HASHTAG FRIENDSHIP i was giggling the whole time i was reading that i love when characters have relationships. WHEN KGJ ASKED BDM IF HE COULD CALL HER NOONA......? augh. AND UBURKA....... i'm so glad he showed up again and immediately went to beat up gongja yas. but then gongja's random speech while they were fighting...... he's insane. sssrh is so insane it's about a freak that kills himself over and over again but it's heartwarming and nice and just so good why. ooouuuuggghhh i'll keep trucking on o7 i won't let months pass before the next update this time PROMMYYYYY sorry this is so long. you know how i am

AAAAHHHH HIII NICO THIS MAKES ME VERY HAPPY!!! so glad youre enjoying what i enjoyed!! the drunk convo between bdm count and gongja is probably one of my fave scenes ^_^ you are correct forever in everything you say!!! the musical theater arc is ridiculous and amazing!! gongja forever a wifeguy its how he lives. sssrh story of all time!!! get ready for the upcoming chapters though, your brain might decompose. but good luck!!! theyre worth it once you get through them! teehee!! also imagine raviel finding out kgj adopted thousands of kids while he was at work. so funny to think about

Ngl, the first thing I'd do if I has Gonja's ability is go back to my elementary days and answer my exams correctly. Yes, I'd use it to technically cheat on my exams in the most extreme way possible. Or maybe go back as a toddler and tell my dad that he should've used condoms, I'd love to see his reaction to that.

His ability is material for "what-ifs" and "could-haves".

That'd... be putting things lightly nonny ( ´•̥̥̥∇•̥̥̥` )

I'm going to put the rest under a read more because I just have so much feels for KGJ right now and SSSCSH does deal with some heavy stuff so I'd like to put up warnings just in case:

Trigger warnings: Suicide, Self-injurious behavior

now if you're still here, take a seat, things are going to get gritty.

In short, Kim Gongja's broken skill is activated automatically upon his death. After experiencing death, he's sent back 24 hours and retains all memories and abilities even after returning. Before returning to the past, he has to live through a 'trauma' of whatever killed him as well.

This skill was inherited from SSSCSH's very first antagonist Yoo Soo-Ha who was the first person to kill KGJ. To take revenge on YSH, KGJ decided he'll return 11 years into the past to take out YSH before he ever got his powers and started abusing them. But to return that far into the past he'll have to die 4050 times. And this crazy bastard did it.

He stabbed himself with a dagger 4090 times. 4090 times.

To face your own death is never easy. Like how we all have the bite force to severe fingers but if we bit down on our own finger our body will instinctively stop us from completely severing it off.

But this man has to continuously stab himself over and over again to rid the world of one psychopath.

You might say, maybe after several deaths he got used to dying and it gets easier? My theory is probably no. A person who's tortured continuously would eventually feel nothing because their body is failing them but every time KGJ dies, he awakens 24 hours in the past in a body that has never experienced the pain of death. His skill allows him to carry over the trauma of death but every time he kills himself, he experiences it anew.

Eventually, he kills himself enough times to learn the fastest way to stab himself and die. But it never gets easier.

As KGJ admits himself. It should've taken 4050 deaths to get to the point he wants but it took him 4090 times because there were times when the trauma piles up so much he ran and hid. And by delaying it, he wasted time, time that he needs to rewind back again.

Can you begin to imagine the mental trauma this man is carrying?

Not to mention, as he travelled up the tower, every time he was killed by opponents stronger than him he'll live through their trauma as well and he'll have to carry his enemies' trauma with him as well. This man only gets trauma piled one after another on him and there's no way to get rid of them (until Raviel) because no one but him remembers anything when he returns to the past.

This man be dying to levels' strongest over and over again so that he can achieve the perfect ending each time (aka everyone surviving or reaching some kind of closure) and no one knows how painful it is.

My heart. SHEESH. Everything hurts whenever I think of KGJ.

I wouldn't wish this skill upon anyone not even upon my enemies. That's how frightening this skill is.

hi hi hi another sui hunter update. i finished the kim yul trauma arc... wowwee. that one got to me a bit. i'm glad things went down the way they did i'm happy that kim yul and the director can just like chill in the tower now they deserve it. speaking of chilling in the tower the librarian constellation ?!? well i'm happy for him. tbh i get too attached to minor characters it's a problem. i really liked the scene where we saw how he was hired by the creator of the tower i want to learn more..... it was nice how he decided to become a hunter. the comparison of him watching stories in the library and gongja obsessing over the flame emperor... ough. well it's good that he has normaller less voyeuristic passions now. like coffee. it was cute that his second big request was to get a hold on. a white mocha frappucino venti quadro shot java chip half and half chocolate drizzle. that was silly. raviel and gongja made me teehee like always "i don't know where, but a bitch just touched my wife" iconic. alsooo i just started like the 30s floors arc? it's so funny that gongja is so attached to the goblins and everyone else thinks he's insane. kind of random but it reminded me of the. i don't know if you know that one tbz clip where changmin walks in with the creepy ass doll and keeps calling it cute and gushing over it while chanhee's like WHA... that ain't it. hehe kim gongja is so funny i really really like this novel i am excited to see what happens next. a bit nervous that there's only 20 chs left in the epub now i guess soon i'll have to read on the site? oh well. not my preferred method but i'll do it for kgj. sorry for the long ask. me when the sss class revival hunters

YAYYYYY IM GIGGLING!!!! like maniacally giggling im seriously so happy to talk abt it. hamustras my little guy. and i love how raviel and gongja use the word bitch so much its so cute. AND YEAHHH its exactly that with gongja and changmin. he loves those goblins so much. hows he gonna explain to raviel that they now have thousands of children. and the sites pretty good i turn on safari reader mode for dark mode no ads on my phone. i love the goblin arc despite it being years long. most arcs are humungous in the later chapters tbh. i say later as if we're not only up to 250ish lol
