Unpopular opinions. // accepting

- Too many DB fans put too much weight on what's "canon" and what's not. By that, I mean they let what they think is "canon" dictate how they view or interpret certain things. I can't tell you how many times I've seen fans say "Well [x] isn't canon because it was anime only." or "GT wasn't in the manga so it's non-canon to the series." Like...who cares??? No one should. I can't remember where I heard/read it, but apparently anime stuff and the manga are BOTH canon, but in "different ways". If that doesn't show how folks should stop taking this shit as seriously as they are, Idk what will.

- Transformations have lost almost all meaning in the series. None of them impress me anymore, because how they're handled is...HIGHLY questionable. All of the god forms and Beast Gohan in particular. I'm not like most of the fandom; just a "shiny new form" slapped onto a character isn't enough to make me hyped and lose my mind, or praise Toriyama as being goated. I need actual substance attached to them.
