I’ve been thinking about how there are three versions of Gavin and in only two does he seem to still have aspects of who he is and understands that he is more than just an incubus. In the other, he’s completely lost and void of hope. He seems to still search for a purpose in life and feels guilt in letting himself experience even a drop of happiness.

i think freelancer actually does get noise complaints from being with gavin, but gavin just rips them up and throws them away before freelancer sees them.

furthermore, i think gavin flirts with the landlord so they don’t get kicked out. they just like gavin too much to put him on the street.
