the team finally learns how to survive without pedri and suddenly we don’t need him anymore, some fans have the memory of a goldfish
they really do just have selective memory, we all know what kind of player pedri is—once in a lifetime kind of player. it’s just unfortunate that injuries are hindering him atm.
also, did we forget:
bc i sure fucking didn’t. it’s good that we learn to not be pedri-reliant, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t essential to our success and future.

sometimes i think gavi would have gone crazy if he had been in half of the games in recent months. we would have tested his patience 😔
I mean, he was already losing it at our defenders even early in the season I don't want to know how he would've reacted to all this ball watching we keep seeing lately 😭😭
Chelsea fans: “MASON MOUNT IS A SNAKE AND A TRAITOR HE HATES CHELSEA AND HE DISRESPECTED THE CLUB AND FORCED HIS WAY OUT AND HE’S NOT EVEN THAT GOOD ANYWAY AND HE PISSED ON MY NAN’S GRAVE AND-”
Every other clubs’ fans: “wow Chelsea really fucked up by replacing Mount’s earlier offer with a 1 year extension, what a signing for United, great player”
Really thought we would keep turner for one more year. I think the real story is not about turner but that the coaching staff want to give ramsdale more competition. That's not a slight against turner, him and ramsdale have different gk styles. Raya is similar to ramsdale, honestly better at shot stopping. What is obvious is that having Raya and ramsdale means they will rotate more often. The number one jersey will be up for grabs the whole season.
As for Turner, I knew from the beginning that he wasn't staying for long. He's too good to be our #2. I thought maybe two or three seasons before moving to a mid-table prem team or one of the bigger German teams. He was never gonna actually threaten ramsdale because they have different styles. I hope this transfer works for him because being on the bench is an honest insult to his skill
I do wanna mention the academy keepers because I feel they're not getting the same attention the rest of the academy gets. And I suspect it's because they don't care??? Man city has produced two great academy keepers in the last few years. Arthur okonkwo should've been named our third choice keeper. Great loan spell out in Austria and being key to winning a cup over there. Our lack of quality in academy keepers is a symptom of a problem that has affected the arsenal academy for years now. We produce great forwards, wingers, and midfielders. However, since the premier league era began, we have failed to produce a quality academy defender or keeper. If the team are actually serious about creating the best academy, they need to include defense and keepers because they have had nothing to show for it.
