If it won the @allure Best of Beauty Award, you know it has to be good. That means I must get my hands on it!! Encapsulated Retinol, Lactic Acid, and Niacinamide all in one product? Yes, please! That puts the "key" in key ingredients. These are among the regulars in my usual skincare rotation, and it's nice to not have to use multiple products to get my fix. I have a big event this weekend, so I want my skin to look good! In addition to a solid skincare routine, I’m diligently avoiding dairy and sugar- both make my acne flare up. I’m also increasing my fruit and veggie intake, putting the Vital Proteins Collagen Powder in my coffee and taking my usual supplements. I wish I could also magically lose a few pounds by Saturday but I can’t expect miracles 😆... so, I’m just going to work on making my skin look awesome. That seems more do-able lol. This has been my go-to, quick evening routine these days. BTW, I love the @shanidarden Shani Darden Retinol Reform! I've been working my way back up to Tret and this has been my next step after using very mild retinol oils for a while. ________________________ The Retinol Reform is a lightweight lotion that contains lactic acid, Retinol, aloe vera and Niacinamide as the highlight ingredients. It's also oil free. On nights that I use it, I usually don't need a separate moisturizer because it provides enough hydration for my oily skin. I've had zero irritation or dryness while using this and it's transitioned very easily into my routines. I'll do a proper review soon! Happy Friday night!!! 🎉 I was so tired that I laid in bed while removing makeup with Bioderma, then shuffled over to the sink to do a second cleanse. Then I went back to bed clutching my Retinol Reform, laid down again and applied that. Cuticle cream and lip balm applied in the dark, under the covers.
