How can umpires league wide be so shit for so long and yet nothing is done about it? When will we get robots to call balls and strikes? Don't tell me about catcher framing cause that's bullshit too you're trying to get the ump to fuck up and make the wrong call its an unnecessary element of randomness because you have to account for what umpire is behind the plate and how good they have been at their job lately and neither the batter nor the pitcher know what's a strike and what isn't every single time certain umpires are doing balls and strikes the whole thing is fucked and just cost us a game and has cost other teams countless games over the years. At the very fucking least there needs to be a way to challenge a call that won't get you tossed immediately since umpires have the most fragile fucking egos on the planet

I'd like to see the Robo Umps in the Minor Leagues before they roll them out in the MLB but I'd rather not have these too relaxed in their position umpires have <90% accuracy games.
