Liam: Please confirm to your knowledge that you are not a fully robotic being, were born an organic creature, and do in fact possess what many cultures would call a soul.
Mitsuba: What? "To my knowledge"? Do a lot of people not know if they're robots?
Liam: Thank you for your confirmation.

Questions by @xleafyheartx!
January 10th.
He doesn’t really want to celebrate his birthdays, his family and friends do it anyways.
Tea better.
He prefers being alone, doesn’t mind being with friends though.
Good health.
Relies more on sight.
Acts like an optimistic.
Flower of the Peony.
Depends.
He doesn’t believe in love at first sight.
He would take them to a flower field, have a picnic, make flower crowns, ect, then propose.
His family.
He used to get bullied a lot up until 8th grade ( Current grade ).
Haven’t thought about that.
Fist, wouldn’t just make out with people he’s fighting with. 💀
His weapon of choice would be a chainsaw.
Would probably metaphorically and literally fade away. Why would he want to deal with that?
Current superpowers, or mind reading.
Art, listening to music, gardening.
With Tsukasa, every love language, with Akari, doing favors for her, quality time, gift giving.
If we are talking about things, spider lilies.

EVE OF THE MOONS PROLOGUE CHAPTER 2.
Tumblr media
You can listen to any song you want to this, I’m too lazy to list any songs.
 But…
Amber by 311
Sins ( let me in ) by Kanii
Definitely :))).

—————
[ Eve Of The Moons ]
Prologue Part 2 :
Lovesick.
—————
✧︎
The first thing the boy saw when he snapped open his eyes was eyes staring back.
The person who those eyes belonged to was someone totally unfamiliar to him.
A masculine looking person with shiny light green eyes, platinum blonde 3A hair, beige vitiligo skin, wearing a simple white buttoned up shirt, baggy jeans and a cardigan adorned with pink and red flowers, crouched over his figure lying still in the coffin.
The male looking person’s eyebrows arose, and their smile got brighter upon seeing the boy’s eyes open.
“Ah, you're awake! Good morning sleeping beauty~.” The person said, their voice mellifluous, clasping their hands together.
The boy in the coffin merely stared, not saying or gesturing a single thing back.
“How was your sleep?”
Still not a reply back. Even his hitodama was unmoving.
Despite that, the person smiled widely and lovingly at him.
“I can’t believe I’m seeing your face so close… It’s as lovely as it is through glass~.” They inched closer to the boy’s face, observing every feature on it and his big amber eyes, that widened a little by how close the person was.
They lifted themself up and away from the boy, clearing their throat with slightly flushed cheeks.
“My apologies, that was really rude…. I’m Ryoriku Liam, your new tailor.”
The boy turned his head towards the male named Liam. Now he’s certain he’s never seen this guy before, and it wasn’t just his brain messing up his memories.
‘New tailor…?’ He thought.
“Yugi Tsukasa. Yugi Tsukasa…. Yugi, Tsukasa…” Ryoriku tested the name on his tongue.
“May I call you Tsukasa-kun?”
Tsukasa made no affirming gesture. But, he did finally make the effort in getting up from his lying position in his coffin, unfolding his arms across his chest and setting them beside him. His hitodama followed his movement.
He flexed his fingers and bended his limbs, like he was testing if they moved or not.
They were definitely stiff, it was hard to move. But, he could deal with it.
Ryoriku watched Tsukasa stretch, waiting patiently for his answer, If he was even going to get one.
But he never did, not as Tsukasa finished stretching and resumed the staring contest.
“…… Well… Tsukasa-san, you can call me Liam.”
Tsukasa allowed himself to look at the small mole on Liam’s face under his left eye instead of his green eyes. Processing what Liam had said, the boy nodded his head very slowly.
The tailor smiled. “Very well. It’s almost 6:00 AM, and you should make an entrance before everyone fully wakes up.”
“Is it ok if we start now? Getting ready, I mean.”
Liam stepped to the side, revealing a utility cart trolley that had several clothes hanging on it.
Tsukasa wondered where it came from, but he mumbled a single “Ok”. His voice was very unused too.
Liam tilted his head to the side, walking closer towards Tsukasa again. He took one of Tsukasa’s cool brown hands into his, raising it up to his mouth and kissing the tips of his clients dead gray fingernails.
Tsukasa took notice of the way Liam held his one hand with two of his own.
Liam started pointing to each fashionable item on the cart, all of them were full outfits. A plain long sleeved button up shirt with a deep purple waist coat and relaxed black trousers. A white Victorian shirt, and dark mauve Zouave trousers. The last outfit was a white western shirt, black kimono with royal purple at the end of the sleeves, the bottoms were mauve gray. Topped with a hat.
The last one caught his eye, so he pointed at it.
Tsukasa always found himself unable to speak whenever he woke up from his month-long naps. It wore off after a while.
Liam clapped his hands, “Alright, we’ll go with that one!”
“Doesn’t take long for a spirit to get ready, does it? You’ll dress up and greet the rest of the building!”
A few short minutes later Tsukasa was fully dressed with the kimono he chose.
He wore a few extra accessories of choice that his tailor had. A peace symbol earring pierced into his left ear, crystal amethyst moon necklace with a few silver rings.
Liam exclaimed, saying Tsukasa looked perfect, “Just like he always did”, whatever that meant.
The black haired blasian boy wondered who was paying his tailor to be so nice?
All of his other tailors that he could remember were bossy and impatient. Simply just rude.
Their personality always bothered his big brother, but never himself. He had enough sympathy to think that they were always just having a bad day, or if they’re usually just like that.
But the reason they aren’t his tailors anymore is because, one bad comment directed his way, and his brother would kick them out, demanding to never grace their presence again. No payment and all.
This new tailor's personality seemed self-pleasing. Maybe Liam usually likes being presentable, or he wants a good check.
Liam looked about his age, why was he working as a tailor? Why was he working at all? I mean, people in the Far Shore could work at any age, literally. But he looked a little bit….. Near Shore-ish….? His aura wasn’t supernatural or paranormal at all.
But, either way, it didn't matter to Tsukasa. Wouldn’t matter if he had no tailor at all.
Tsukasa looked in the big long mirror, sitting right next to his window. He swears he saw this mirror move with freewill before. But he couldn’t remember all that.
He saw himself and couldn’t help but finally appreciate his brother’s unnecessary hard and time-consuming work of finding tailors for him.
He’s never worn a kimono before. Never when it mattered all that much. When he was human, or half human, his generation of people were dressing however they wanted, didn’t have to be traditional. That was on the eventful days.
He’s never worn one before. But he was glad he got the chance.
For the first time in a month, he saw himself smiling gleefully. He twirled around, getting a brief view of all of his angles, and held that smile.
Liam stood right behind him, putting a hand on Tsukasa’s shoulder.
“Not bad, right?”
Tsukasa nodded rapidly.
He chuckled, “I forgot one more special accessory to give you, stay right there,” then walked away.
In the meantime, Tsukasa looked left and right for his phone.
He forgot how he had got it back after losing it when he died, but it was the same one he had when living.
As a supernatural, to him, there was only one purpose of possessing an iphone.
It held numerous memories Tsukasa couldn’t hold onto in his mind, even if he tried. And trust him, he wouldn’t let them go purposely.
His iphone was under the bed in his room that he never even used, not even when able to wake up after a night's long sleep, like most people.
Tsukasa will admit, it was absolutely useless to look back at memories. Those things in the past aren’t what’s important to the world’s future anymore. Not his either, because he doesn’t even have one. Not anymore, not ever even. All he could do was look back at the past on a small glass screen.
All the pictures of a certain pink haired boy and other familiars filled up his camera roll. People which he deemed important, in some cases, in some matters.
He refused to believe that he wanted to demote them to anything unimportant.
Even if he had to watch those memories flow away from the presents.
He honestly didn’t know what was present, past or future anymore.
Maybe that was only his terrible conception of time though?
Tsukasa didn’t get a chance to scroll though the memories when he was pushed back in front of the mirror from behind.
He felt a lukewarm hand grasp his left, cold one with delicacy, softly holding it up a little to glance at all of his fingers. Then, with the other hand, Liam held a ring, a multi-shade purple one, with a questionable design, and slid it onto Tsukasa’s ring finger.
Tsukasa held his left hand up, eye length, staring at the ring’s violet, amethyst, eggplant purple shades with hints of macaron yellow and indigo blue.
It was a pretty ring, he admitted to himself. But he didn’t know why it was given to him. He had enough rings.
He turned and looked at a close eyed smiling Liam, then to the ring, and back at Liam.
“Is it pretty? The colors fit you well.” He complimented.
Tsukasa had to agree, and just consented to having it on and not question.
But looking down at Liam’s fingers, on his right hand ring finger, the same ring was being worn, but with shades of pink with hints of the same shade yellow and regular purple.
He didn’t ask Liam about it, but he decided to do it some other time instead. Maybe once he got to know his tailor better.
Liam’s hands slyly slid onto the sides of Tsukasa's waist, while Tsukasa was too busy staring at his ring.
It was now 5:50 AM. This was the time people started getting up and greeting the day. Their plan was to come out before people crowded the building, so they had to go down immediately.
Liam led Tsukasa to the door, even though he knew where it was, and they both walked out, and his hitodama followed.
It had been a while since Tsukasa saw the building's exterior, but he could never forget it, since he’s been here for over 53 years. The walls were plain pearl white, the floors were marble off white tiles, and the halls were decorated with bats, pumpkins, and ghost garlands. The lighted candles that hung on the walls were replaced with jack-o-lanterns burning with yellow, red and orange light. The pumpkins all had different expressions and all of them were colored differently.
Tsukasa observed each one while speed-walking down the hallway. He decided that his favorite one was a regular, circular, orange one, a fanged smile and furrowed eyes lit with fire looking at him, and he looked back.
It kind of looked like him. But as a devious-looking Halloween pumpkin.
It was alive. It shook with high-pitched, eerie laughter at his mesmerized face, then went back to being still.
It’s not like he hadn’t seen a living pumpkin before, but no living pumpkin had ever acknowledged his existence.
“I really like that one,” he said out loud to himself.
“Why is that?” Liam responded, although he didn’t look back to him, so Tsukasa doubted he even knew what he was talking about.
“It looks a little like me.”
Liam looked up and thought.
“Yeah, it did.”
I guess he did know what he was talking about.
They continued speed walking down the hall and got to the white elevator plated with gold rims and a a big dark red number on it. ‘7’. Having to wait for it to come back down, and once it did the elevator door opened and out came three carts being pushed by three small, pink bunnies each.
The two boys waved at the creatures and they waved back. Then got on the elevator, pressing the button ‘1’.
Tsukasa wondered some more. Because there was never enough to not think about.
He wondered if Liam was new to the castle, he seemed to know exactly where they were going though. But if so, how come Tsukasa never sees him? Maybe he forgot there was a person like him in here, or maybe he just hasn't seen him.
He wondered if his brother was on the first floor anywhere. Maybe his brother was waiting for him? He hoped so. He hasn’t seen him in a second. Not conscious, especially.
He wondered if he would run into some of his other supernatural associates, like he always did. He probably would.
He wondered some more, lost in thought, and the elevator filled with soft rhythmic music that made him unconsciously tap his right foot in the same patterns. Liam held his hands behind his back, and looked away, while Tsukasa kept his hands by his side, looking at the floor.
Liam’s aura was a little neurotic, but Tsukasa ignored that.
They had made it to the first floor and before they could get out of the elevator they turned to see the pink bunny creatures bombarding them. Or, just Tsukasa.
“Tsukasa-chan, Tsukasa-chan! Welcome back, good morning!!” One jumped on him, looking a little different from the rest. Only one big eye and black fur.
He smiled, despite not knowing if the bunny knew him personally.
The black creature took something from behind their back with their long ear, and offered it to him. “Here, have candy, have candy!”
He took it into his palm. It was cherry flavored.. Hard candy? Of some sort.
Tsukasa’s never had this kind of candy. On the packaging it read “Oguran ho-chan”.
But he didn’t think twice before opening it, putting it into his mouth and biting into it with his sharp, fanged right tooth.
Hm, it had cherry juice in it.
The other creatures continued to smother Tsukasa with greetings and candy/snacks. “Hello Tsukasa-chan! Here are some more Sakuranbo-chan candies!” “These ones are my favorite, and I’m giving them to you because you’re my favorite twin! Cookies & Cream Pockys!” “I know you like weird-tasting stuff, so I found these Sasebo Burger Drops and tomato flavored hard candies!!”
By the time they were down dropping sweets in front of him, Liam and him decided to carefully scoot out of the elevator so it wouldn’t close on them, and so that the mound of candy didn’t get in.
“Oh wow…” Liam spoke, chuckling amusingly.
“Yeah….. I wasn’t expecting that..”
“Did they do this last time? Last time you woke up again?”
Tsukasa turned towards him, “Well… I don’t really remember..”
He put his hands on his hips, eyebrows scrunched with a puzzling expression. “What am I gonna do with all of these?”
Liam looked at the mound of ‘gifts’ Tsukasa received. He squinted at one and picked it up.
“….. Taro…. Kimchi flavored squid snacks-“
Tsukasa gasps out of nowhere. “Ahh, Bontan Ame!”
He held the candies up to Liam’s face, a long black box with lemons on it.
“I’ve never had these before. Do you like them?”
Tsukasa nods with a wide smile.
Liam smiles at him, “You like sour candies, huh.” He didn’t ask anyone in particular, it was more of a mental note.
The supernatural’s hitodama, the one with a teal blue center, swirled around the mound speedily, to the point where it covered it in black smoke. Once it stopped, the gifts were gone.
All except for the Bontans Tsukasa held in his hand.
The duo started walking again, but they didn’t have a direction in mind. Tsukasa thought they were finding his brother, he had no idea what Liam was thinking.
But he could see that they were gradually walking up to a mid-height person, with short copper ginger dreads, and their back facing them.
“And then he just stared us right in the eyes, continuing to dig in his bag for his ID. Just tell people we’re hiring already, pleeease-!”
“Nope, no, nada. We don’t need anymore staff-“
“Fire some, if you have to! People think we’re open for employment-“
“We’ll just put out an announcement on social media saying we’re not open for employment. We’ll put it on every platform. Is that better?”
The person that the ginger was talking to sounded a bit insincere and sarcastic, but their voice sounded awfully familiar.
“You don’t even care, do you?” Asked the ginger flatly.
“Why would I?”
Their conversation didn’t seem to go on, but maybe they were looking at each other in a certain way.
Liam and Tsukasa stopped right in front of the ginger.
Were they looking for these people?
The blonde boy, as politely as possible, tapped the person on the shoulder lightly. They turned around and looked down at the shorter boys, as well as the other person.
Tsukasa glanced at the ginger, and then at the person they were talking to.
A short black haired boy, brown skinned and the same height as him, with two amber orbs.
“I’m sorry–”
Gasping and accidentally pushing the other two people out of his way, Tsukasa exclaimed and jumped right onto the person who ( once ) stood in front of all of them.
“AMANNNNEEEE!!!”
Almost every person on the first floor looked over at where the squeal came from, which, thankfully, were a small number of people. But there was no saying if the second floor could hear, or even the third…
Both of them crashed to the ground, and that made an even louder noise, and also knocked down a small table nearby sending a glass vase flying.
Liam and the ginger sweatdropped, looking at the two and quickly glancing over to the other.
“I’m sorry…. If we interrupted something…”
Tsukasa squeezed the life out of the look-alike, and the said person laid on the ground in short shock. Before they looked at Tsukasa’s head and smiled.
“Hey Tsukasa…” Mumbled the boy identical to Tsukasa, in a raspy voice due to his squeezing.
“I missed you so so so so so so so much!!”
“Can you loosen up..?”
He squeezed even harder before finally letting go a little, having his hands on ‘Amane’’s shoulders.
“Oh, your Tsukasa, right?” The ginger asked.
Tsukasa turned to him, answering with a ‘yeah’ even though he had no idea who the guy was.
Amane stood up and brushed off his attire, a long sleeved black formal shirt and black slacks, fixed his hat, cleared his throat and decided to ignore the table and vase that fell over, acting like nothing just happened.
Tsukasa got up with him.
“Tsukasa, this is Akane, my quote-unquote work colleague.” He winked towards Akane, the title seemed a little ‘exaggerated’, like they were adults and businessmen working in offices. But Tsukasa didn’t know how old Akane even was. He couldn’t be that old.
“Yeah, ‘work colleagues’, whatever. It’s nice to meet you Tsukasa. I’ll catch you later Hanako, and your advice actually sucks, but if it doesn’t work I'll let Kako know it was your idea.” Akane said blandly, before walking away.
“Well that was sudden...” Hanako blurted.
He looked over at Tsukasa again, then at Liam.
“You did a pretty good job! I knew you were going to.” He says, complimenting Liam on his fashion skills.
Liam nods and thanks him, looking off to the side a little shyly.
“Tsukasa, since you’re awake now.. You’ll have breakfast with me, won’t you. They have a specialty today because all of the tsuki made neru waking up.”
Tsukasa didn’t even have to think about it before he was nodding his head rapidly.
“Liam, would you like to join us? You don’t have to if you don’t want to.” He plainly asked.
“Oh no thank you, I appreciate the offer though, but i’m going to go meet up with a friend of mine. If you don’t mind… I’ll be leaving now.”
“I don’t mind at all. Farewell then.”
“Farewell.” Liam waved off, about to turn around and start walking off, until Tsukas spoke up.
“Goodbye Liam, and thank you!” He waved.
Tsukasa beamed and Liam smiled affectionately, and radiantly. Giving Tsukasa a wave back, and then headed off with a, “I’ll see you soon..”
Tsukasa wondered what friend he was going to meet with.
“Do you like your new tailor?”
Hanako and Tsukasa walked away from their previous spot, heading towards the castle’s cafe, or lunchroom, Tsukasa guessed.
People were starting to flood the first floor, greeting other’s with a ‘hello’ and ‘good morning’, ‘how are you’, or just a ‘want to grab some food’.
“Yeah, he’s really nice.”
So many conversations were happening at once, the fanged boy didn’t think he could keep up with everything. The lights were flickering, chairs were scooting across the floor, heavy footsteps and the air vents could be heard. Even the electricity.
Tsukasa wondered if Hanako could hear it too.
Probably so.
Hopefully the cafe would be less noisy.
“I missed you a lot Amane, didn’t get to see you last time.”
He hoped Amane heard him through all the painful noise.
They were busy trying to slide between, behind, and in front of everyone in the way. But some people had made way for them after seeing Hanako. The first floor was filling up fast. Why weren’t people going to other floors, or other departments of the castle? There were plenty.
By the time they got to the exit of the first floor, and to the counter place, they could finally breathe in air that wasn’t occupied by others. The castle visitors were more concerned with the first floor than the lunchroom. Which was weird, since it was the morning, especially. Were the other departments as busy as this?
Hanako walked up to the counter, but saw that there was a curtain blocking the view of the kitchen.
“Wait a second, please! Just a minute, just a minute!” A werewolf-looking blonde haired boy’s head popped out of the curtains abruptly, before immediately pulling them back closed and shouting something behind the curtain.
The boys stood dumbfounded, and Hanako sighed.
Both of them sat down on the high chairs.
They sat in silence for some time, before Hanako spoke up again, in a quiet tone.
“I missed you a lot too.”

Questions by @the-moon-dust-writings!
TBHK OC: RYORIKU LIAM.
Out in public/around people he acts polite and presents himself as a person who likes to keep to himself, but still serene and kind.
The only animal he doesn’t like very much are monkeys, he sees them as freaky, tiny humans. Apes/Gorillas are closely related to humans, he hates them.
He dresses mostly in neutral and dark colors, unless he’s trying to impress or something.
Two, Japanese and English, he learned English when he was 5.
Averagely big, as a Blasian. His friends don’t even know his family though.
At first I made him solely for the purpose of simping for Tsukasa, I thought it would be funny to have a character love a character who is canonly disliked a lot. And it still is funny to me, but now I’m also focusing on his lore, unlike how I was before because he was just going to be a background character.
He does, but nobody really expects that he knows how to use his limbs. In my TBHK au, New Blues, he has earthly powers ( Earth element ), so he uses that most of the times and that’s the only thing people see him do.
Still coming up with that, kind of. Don’t want to spoil anything if I actually do something with it in the future.
I chose ‘Liam’ because I liked the name. Ryo In Japanese means excellent, excel, succeed; distant; fact, reality; dragon. Riku means land and continent, it says it’s supposed to help the baby feel on solid ground no matter where they are, which means feeling safe and secure.
He doesn’t have any nicknames, doesn’t want any ( Unless they’re from Tsukasa or Akari ).
His romantic interest is Yugi Tsukasa and Mochizuki Akari ( Oc ).
He tries forgetting about the struggles, burying deep.
Doesn't lean on anyone, surprisingly.
Thought about this once, I think he’d either not react, or completely close off ( If it’s someone he considers important ).
Aloof, tranquil, outwardly docile, and inwardly bitter.
Funny thought of Tsukasa having a simp.
It depends how he feels about the person if he wants to get along with them or not. If he doesn’t like them, he won’t bother. If he does, he’s introverted so they have to make an effort first.
Hides his true feelings most times, tries to put on a facade outside.
Still thinking about his impact on the story..

23. Depends.
