Funny story. So I got this skirt from our thrift store to wear to midnight mass, right? Twirly, burgundy red, imitation crushed velvet (I thought)—perfect Christmas skirt. Four dollars, because orange tags were half off that day.

Today I looked at the label. IT'S A FRICKIN YVES–SAINT LAURENT SKIRT. It's labeled rive-gauche, his ready-to-wear-collection that launched in the 60's. It's worth at bare minimum $100. It's definitely REAL crushed velvet.

Now I'm not sure what to do with it. I think I should probably sell it but I'm not sure how exactly to go about that, and it's a little sad to think of giving it up. However, I don't think I'm the right person to have something like that. I wouldn't know how to take care of it, and I have multiple toddlers. Toddlers and designer clothing are not a good combo. Thoughts and suggestions appreciated. 😬
