Lighting Overlay 2.0

Lighting Overlay 2.0 is an overlay to create fake shadow on your sims to sort of simulate a more realistic lighting in The Sims 4! I made this overlay CC to improve your screenshots aesthetics, not for gameplay, CAS genetics, etc!

This version is basically a standalone updated version of the first Lighting Overlay. Compared to the first version, it's softer, darker, and blends better. This version also only affects face, neck, a little bit of chest area, and won't affects outfits!. So, it'll be compatible maxis match and alpha outfits!

Two versions available: True Black Version and Color Version

TRUE BLACK VERSION

This version can be found in Skin Details, Makeup, Tattoos, and Brow Ring (left) categories! This version, however, is not makeup sliders compatible.

Preview of all the swatches! The last two swatches are meant to be leaves on trees shadow. If you guys like shadows like that, I might consider making another lighting overlay just for that!

Below is a preview on various skin tones. Unlike the first version, the version 2.0 still look good on the darkest skin tone!

COLOR VERSION

This version can only be found in Makeup category! It's makeup sliders compatible!

By default, the color of the shadow in the color version is blue/purple-ish. You can use the hue slider to change it into any color!

I highly recommend using the makeup sliders to reduce the white edges by maxing the saturation slider and lowering the brightness slider

Howdy. It's a little pack of 3 skin overlays (pictured above)

I originally made these as tests, but I found them nice enough to deem worthy of release. Two of them have been put out as secret-cc before, and if you have either of them I recommend deleting the files and replacing them with this new, updated, merged package file. I cleaned up some crunchy spots and also there's a bunch of new colors.

All 3 have 30 swatches, 20 solids, 10 gradients. All 3 are found on 4 different body birthmark slots, so you can layer to your heart's content.

Custom thumbnails. Color slider mod compatible. Works for both genders/frames TYAE.

SIMS 4 - HALLOWEEN 2023 REPUBLISHED IRIS OVERLAYS - BASE GAME

Do you love your sim's eyes, but want something different for parties? Or maybe you just want to change the iris for your alternative sims.

Whatever the case may be, these 24 iris overlays are a very cool choice. Since they are in the Face Paint category, you can also use the sliders to create a multitude of different looks.

They are called "Iris Overlays" because they only cover the iris, including the pupil. The sclera, or the white part of the human eye, remains untouched.

So I noticed that a lot of the CC looks rather odd on infants and that's because a lot of them don't have any babyfat, and there's something uncanny (although funny!) about an infant with chiselled cheeks. The same goes for toddlers and children - so I made this. This was intentionally made for infants in mind but also works for toddlers and children too, especially the other swatches as they have just a little less babyfat on them. Now your kids can really look like kids! I also included a little blush that adds a natural redness to the face. ♥

Lighting Overlay CC

I made this lighting overlay to create fake shadow on your sims to simulate more realistic lighting in The Sims 4! It's good to make your screenshots look more realistic and dramatic!

What and how does this CC works?

This overlay can be found in multiple categories like Skin Details, Makeup, and Tattoos! It adds fake but still realistic shadow to your sims. This overlay will not conflict with any other CC/mods since it's just cosmetics, not a real lighting mods or something like that! I highly recommend using this only when taking pictures of your sims!

This overlay affects the whole body and outfits! (except the last 2 setups that only affects head and neck area)

Space Dust Overlay

similar to the rainbow mold overlay, though this one has celestial patterns as well. base texture is still EA's. this file is HUGE because of the textures and there's 17 swatches. if i can compress the textures so they don't look like crap i will update the files. there are some very noticeable seams on a couple of the swatches, sorry. i made these for a couple of sims i was building but also wanted to share.
