daisy's notes: bc i wanna have a counterpart to the svt au

for bang chan, i'm kinda torn? i can see him living with his family and being a loving big brother to his siblings. i kinda wanna give him specifically something more akin to sam where he has his music heart events. maybe he's working with changbin and jisung and later you get to see the song he wrote with your input? i think one of his heart events would have something to do with his love for dogs and another being hannah teasing chris about how often he talks about you (interpreted however you like since its a heart event you can access before dating him). maybe.. perhaps... a heart event on the beach where he talks about how much he loves it? which comes back when he confesses to you on the beach? yes. i think he'd probably just work at joja mart or something or do freelance work at home. man who will water crops and feed the animals and fix fences after marrying you tho. he just wants to help <3 also dad of the year if u have kids they will be So supported!!!

lee know... honestly, he and jisung are really good with kids, so i could see minho being the one who runs a school for the kids in town (fulfilling penny's role). probs a little quiet in the beginning as he's trying to get a better read on you as a person, but warms up quickly. at least one of his heart events is him feeding stray cats and being caught by you. he doesn't get flustered or anything but he does talk about how he likes caring for things... and for people, too. maybe a mention that he worries about coming off as mean when he just has a particular sense of humor--and he usually only makes those jokes around certain people who he knows can handle it. omg wait chris says minho's dad makes furniture or something... minho lives on the mountain with his dad, the town carpenter??? imagine romancing minho and his family just Knowing because of how often you make the trip up there for non-farm related stuff lmao. he probably confesses to you during a picnic or a walk in the woods. i love the idea of him also feeding animals after marrying you or cooking for u sometimes... what a softie!! dad of the year #2 btw

changbin kinda fits into taking alex's position in a sense? lives with his family (loves them SO much and you WILL know it), works out a lot, etc. i can honestly kinda see him talking about wanting to do something with it professionally, but in terms of opening up a gym rather than playing sports. man who is nice to begin with but will be down so fucking bad for you by the time you finish romancing him. hes just a loving dude!! i like to imagine he talks vaguely about traveling a little bit but says that he never saw himself going through w it because he doesnt like the idea of leaving his family. maybe... he has a softer side too in terms of art or writing? like the guy talks abt maybe being a writer or a tattoo artist, i could maybe see that coming up in his heart events. consider... poetry boy bc he writes lyrics and idk i think theres at least a little crossover there. he confesses with lyrics he wrote for u. also probably thrives in married life on the farm??? plenty of space to work out and go on walks... thank u.

hyunjin.... leah. he's just having a good time living in the forest and painting/drawing. i feel like he'd be a little standoffish in the very beginning, but warms up to you a lot over time. probably would ask if he can hang out on your farm and draw sometimes. his lil section behind ur house??? absolutely an easel facing toward the farm so its implied he's painting u/ur farm. honestly i kinda like to think he works at the saloon and probably voices his annoyance to you that tourists sometimes hit on him and he's not really a fan. imagine literally having a heart event where he claims ur his partner to get someone to knock it off, and later sends u something nice in the mail as thanks. probably one of the more romantic guys. i think he'd enjoy married life on the farm a bit considering it gives him plenty of space to enjoy nature and draw if he wants to, plus he has you to support him in his artistic endeavors. absolutely insists on doing some things around the farm like feeding animals because it's the least he can do to make ur life easier.

for han... honestly i could see him functioning as elliott-adjacent? the kind of guy who writes, but he's busy writing lyrics. his first heart event 100% includes chris + changbin passing by reader and jisung talking in town and they invite him to come make music w them if he wants. alternatively, i could see jisung as being the shy son of the couple who runs the ranch. i think he'd warm up to reader more and more over time, and it'd absolutely have his family sending him up to reader's farm sometimes on "errands" like delivering feed there and whatnot. wait jisung w the blue chickens. genius. either way, i feel like he also would probably open up to reader about being an introvert and how he's good with people, but that he has his limits and he appreciates having ppl in his life who don't push him to be extroverted. he does feed animals for you (and put water out for ur pet) and probably mends fences for u as well. man who is aware that sprinklers exist.

felix... ok vibe w me for a minute. felix who's family runs the general store. gamer boy who probably games with you for one of his heart events. some of his events also take place on the beach tbh where he talks about swimming in summer and going to the beach w his sisters?? maybe his heart events kinda talk about how he doesn't really know what he wants to do sometimes. he has things he likes doing, ykno? also at least one of his heart events is a lil sad and u get to comfort him and he sends you a letter saying he appreciates the kindness in ur heart. gives! you! treats! after u marry him! always says a little 'sorry i woke up early and started baking... but you like these, right?' before giving u a lil treat. also will feed the animals on your farm and mention how he likes helping you however he can <3

seungmin is mr 'its not like i like you' in the beginning where he's not mean by any means, but he is like hm. farmer :/. kinda like haley? he's nice enough to people he knows super well, but he takes a moment to warm up to new ppl in the valley. tourists? he's polite enough. a random person who moved there out of nowhere? ew. why would you come here? but he warms up to you quickly. he lives w jeongin! sometimes he'll go visit him after he marries you and they just have a friends day. anyway i think his heart events talk about him wanting to be a photographer. maybe you help him get a website together that he continues to maintain into marriage + he'll go off and take pics in the forest on some days. lovingly cooks and waters ur crops for u <3

i.n... lives with seungmin, as mentioned before, and i think he'd work at joja. openly tells you he dislikes it but he's gotta make a living somehow. he mentions that sometimes he'll help minho with teaching the kids if he needs it, but sometimes he'll also tutor any of the kids needing the extra help (minho always recommends him bc he knows jeongin wants the extra money). honestly i feel like he'd probably enjoy married life on the farm where he can explore what he wants to do in life without having to worry too heavily about other things. probably has very sweet heart events where u can really see how mature he is sometimes. one of them involves him tutoring the kids outside one day and u get to impart farmer knowledge on them (which is pulling from one of penny's but shh).

He buys you the ugliest skins for your most played character/weapon on League of Legends, Valorant, etc. Free stuff is nice, but now you feel obligated to use them. Your eyes will never recover.

kim seungmin

He will not talk, only sing. At first, it seems fun. However, if he stopped adding so many runs and flourishes to all of his sentences, maybe you could actually have a conversation with him.

yang jeongin

He acts like it’s your birthday. You get cake, balloons, and an empty wrapped cardboard box because apparently getting you a real gift is taking the prank too far. At least the cake’s good.

I just made an overview of the 21 fics I updated in 2023 (can be found here) and like last year, I've got an overview over what I've posted to the various stories below.

This was the year where Stray Kids barged through and almost completely took over. My biggest fandoms word count wise was Stray Kids with 286k, Seventeen with 69k, Phandom with 41k and BTS with 11k. The rest have all got under 10k to their name, but I must admit that I'm surprised that skz have been amounted to so many! It's definitely my skz wolfpack with it's two long prologue pulling the weight and that universe is so big and fun to play around with. It's definitely a story I look forward to writing more in 2024.

This year I also finished my big svt mafia AU and that fic has been so fun to write, and I don't think I'm quite done with it yet. My beloved Stardew AU didn't get updated much and phandom has been pushed aside a bit this year but with DnP making a glorious return to the gaming channel, I foresee more writing for them this coming year. I've also dipped my toe with writing for four new fandoms (Legend of Zelda, Good Omens, Nimona, Baldur's Gate 3).

I posted a total of 451k works throughout this year, and I wanted to share the comparison to the other years I've tracked my writing below. Not my most prolific year, but still a very impressive feat!

Thank you to anyone who've read my stories in 2023 and I can see on AO3 that so many people have found my writing this year, which warms my heart. All of the stories I've posted this year have been lovely to share with you all.

what if skz were the demons in a demon slayer au,, what do you think that’ll be like - 🤍

i had to think about this ask for a WHILE because the demons in “breathe for you” took so long to come up with! but i’ll give you some stuff that pops right into my head when i think of demon!skz :>

chan: most likely something to do with an instrument, similar to the one in the original anime (the drum demon guy), definitely buff and strong

minho: similar to a cat, can climb any surface and has incredible agility, will scratch opponents until they bleed to death (yOW)

changbin: short yet HELLA BUFF, will try to crush you, can jump super high (bunny) and... you know how in stardew valley the pigs find truffles... thats all i can think of IM SO SORRY CHANGBIN YOU’RE A TRUFFLE THROWER NOW

hyunjin: definitely has some dance-fighting moves in him, perhaps he has a device on his body that lets him play music, which is the only way he can dance, so if the opponent breaks it he’s defenseless?

jisung: my creativity is falling apart so all i can think of is the more he freestyle raps, the more damage the opponent tAKESKJFDKSJ this is hard!!

felix: sunshine boy, has the ability to shoot literal rays of light from the palm of his hand, tries to blind opponent, probably has a huge mane of hair with all the hair colors he’s tried all at once

seungmin: will manipulate you at first!! tries to mask himself as a human first, and when he’s discovered, he’ll fake sympathize with you, and then once you break through that trick, he won’t hesitate to kill you in a second

jeongin: HAS THE POWER TO TURN HIS OPPONENTS INTO LITERAL INFANTS also a bit of a manipulator but in a different way, he convinces his opponent that he’s super weak until he strikes and pUNCHES THEM IN THE CHIN WHILE I CHEER FROM THE SIDELINES BECAUSE THATS MY TO A ST MAN!!! 1 1

May 2024 - natigail recap

I posted two chapters of my skz wolfpack AU since it's back to biweekly updates again for a bit - Rest in the Belly of the Wolf

I also posted a new phanfic where Phil got to live out his dreams of being Oz and having Dan be Spike - Vampire Moon

And I wrote a spilled thoughts post about getting nostalgic peaking at the personal blog I kept through most of university

I decided I was going to try to go back to the 2k words a day goal for the month of May and I'm so happy that I made it! It felt really good to be able to hit that higher word count. I also figured out this month that I had fewer days where I was actually writing but when I was writing, I did so for longer sessions. It worked quite well, so maybe I'll try to keep that kind of vibe going forward. And phan Stardew AU beloved got to shine this month surpassing even journalling (18k words over just three days, so really productive sessions!). I'm nearing the end of the January chapter now and I'm excited to finish it soon and share it in August. I've also been vibing well with my skz wolfpack AU and it's been really lovely to put it back on the posting schedule and seeing people reading and commenting on new chapters. And then some side phanfic action too, I've got a new idea about blond Phil and Dan dressed as Sister Daniel in a situationship AU, so wish me luck with that! It's going to be more complex than initially anticipated so maybe that'll be a thing for August too. PEDIA is creeping up on me soon after all and I'm going to start hoarding fics like a dragon.

I'm excited for June and I hope it's a good one. The sun is out and the days are longer. I'm still dealing with some shitty fatigue that clings to me but it's slightly better these days, so here's to hoping to keep it at bay. Happy pride month!

Look at me being productive again and hitting high marks. I actually only had proper writing sessions on three out of seven days but they were productive and flowed well and perhaps that's the strategy I need for myself. Some days where I write lots surrounded by days where I do not, recharging. Hmm, something to consider. Also funny I hit exactly 5.5k again for the stardew AU only this time it's the actual number (5.500 words clean without trying to do that).

Not as productive week as the ones that came before it, but I had three social things during this week, two of which literally took up almost the whole day. I spend a lot of mental energy being social, so that's almost too much for me and it always reflects in my writing unfortunately. But I still managed a good session on the Stardew AU on Saturday, getting a whole section related to Abigail done, and I also wrote a bit for the skz wolfpack AU and posted a new chapter! It's been so lovely to be back in the groove with posting that fic again and my heart is so full seeing so many people follow along. Wish me luck for this week!

Look at me go! So many words! It did definitely help that I only worked three days out of the week and I had a long weekend of four days. If only every week was like that, imagine how much more writing I could get gone. But I do like my office job, I just wish I wasn't required to spend so much time working in general, when other things are much more interesting. I'm particularly proud that I knocked out a good portion of words on my Stardew AU! It's been needing attention for a bit, and I stayed focused with it for like 5 hours Thursday where I wrote all those words. Here's hoping for another productive week!

April 2024 - natigail recap

I posted three one shots this month! Look at me go!

Dipping my toe into the Hazbin Hotel fandom with a huskerdust one shot with heaps of hurt/comfort and massaging wings - I sold my soul to a psychopathic freak

Inspired by DanAndPhilCRAFTS - Slime, I had to write what might have been going on in their heads during the summoning - creativity is nothing without friendship

Somewhat similar, Phil decided to be supportive of WAD on Twitter and Dan decided to reply just with an emoji, which left me in my feels, so I had to write something soft about that - [orange heart emoji]

And I wrote a spilled thoughts post about seeing wear and tear on my stuff as marks of love

I made it past the goal for this month! 48.5k total, so hitting 1.6k a day on average. I did decide to include some writing exercises I did for a work course and two magazine articles I did because why not. But it's clear to see that the big pull has been my skz wolfpack AU. I've been trying to stock up on chapters a bit because I resume posting in May (this Saturday!). I'm very excited to share chapters again, sitting on them feels a little weird but I know I'll be happy for it later. I am also immensely proud that I've twice managed to make a write and post on the day phanfic one shot. Those feelings are still so special and the boys have been on fire lately, inspiring me to write for them. Though I do wish I had been able to focus a bit more on Stardew AU but it keep getting pushed back, oops.

The warmer weather has rolled in, the days are longer and brighter, and I hope I can get lots of writing done this coming month.

I am really trying to chase what's self-indulgent but the two public wips linked above are both in spots where I find myself dragging my feet, so that's harder. But we persevere!

Another strange week as can be seen by the "small" word counts. I don't even know what's going on. The Hazbin Hotel brain rot has been real but also just indecisiveness all around. Touching something for a moment and then letting go of it again, and I didn't get around to writing anything this weekend at all oops. I've got reasons for being distracted (and I've also indulged in BG3 playing again) but still. Here's to hoping for a more concise week this time around!

It's been a strange week. Like I started the week out being in London! And then back home, a quite chill week at work but just a little overwhelmed brain. I managed to write good chunks on the weekend though and finally catch up on comments since early January. I may also have started a new wip. I have not even finished Coffee Prince yet. I also managed to write a bit on the phan Stardew AU! It's been a guilty backburner for me for a while, so that felt nice, even if just a minor session. I'm hoping to keep productivity high, wish me luck!

November 2023 - natigail recap

And I posted a spilled thoughts post about not writing much lately

It's been a strange month. I had a hope that I would do NaNoWriMo with my phan stardew AU but no such luck, which I should have anticipated with so much going on in my life and in my brain lately. My horse has been injured and in treatment all month long and it's been adding a lot of worries to my already overloaded brain. She is on the mend now, which is helping, but we're still not quite out of the woods yet.

I've been picking up and setting down a lot of different wips this month, and I feel like that sums me up pretty accurately. I don't really know what I'm doing and I'm just trying to grab onto anything. But here's to hoping that December will be kinder so we can end on a good note! I've had to keep my daily goal at 1k this month, and I would love to be able to push it back up to 2k, which used to be my standard. Wish me luck!

I posted a phan one shot about Dan and Phil going to storage to fetch Dil's head to ressurect the gaming channel - SUBSCRIBE FOR COMFORT CONTENT

Wrote three spilled thoughts posts - one about hibernating in early autumn, one about DanAndPhilGAMES returning and one about seeing people diagnosed with stress.

It was not the most productive month, but still we got words written! 37.9k of them! I had hoped to aim for a 1.5k a day again but I realised that it wouldn't be possible and put my goal back down to 1k. I will get into writing more and longer again, I fucking swear it. Anyway, I'm happy with the stuff that I worked on, though I am sad that I couldn't stick to writing more of the phan Stardew AU than planned. And I've got a couple of wips that I also wanted to work on but like my mind has just been all over the place lately and now there's a whole injury/illness situation with my horse that makes me worried and busy in equal measure. Writing may have to take a bit of a backseat.

But we're going to try to write as much as I can and keep the flow going. I do always feel better and more settled when I'm steadily writing.
