Another AI GPT3 post. It’s got a lot of repeats by the end, and I realize this is basically an AI generated listicle, but I wanted to hold on to this and figured I might as well share at the same time. My favorite one of these by far was Lara Croft and Adam Jensen as the only crossover pair that it naturally came up with, which I’m going to try and get more of. I’ve always had fun poking around crossover game rosters and I’m sure this won’t be the last time I do something like this.

I’m too lazy to format this, but the opening is the prompt I fed it and the “keep going” was me getting the AI to write more and more until I hit the character limit.

Here's something that will never happen, but if it does, this is how I'd handle it.

A Remake of Crash Bash

The weird plot would be relatively the same, but better explained. For instance instead of just saying "the ancients would never allow it!" When Uka Uka goes in to attack, Aku Aku instead says "No brother! Our energies are too powerful in this realm, we may accidentally destroy the crystals and a chunk of the universe with them! Let us hold a contest to settle this..." Uka Uka agrees, and like before, he summons a team bigger than Aku Aku's, but then agrees to surrender some team members to balance things out... the thing is though, this version would have 8 characters on each side, meaning there are sixteen playable characters in all.

The Good Side

CRASH, COCO, TAWNA, & DINGODILE are the characters initially summoned by Aku Aku. Assuming this takes place after Crash 4 It's About Time, and Crunch hasn't been introduced yet, I think this is a solid team, especially since Dingo has retired from evil and actually gets along well with the bandicoots. But who does Aku chose to even out the group? I decided to give these four characters a reason, something Aku could sense to make the choice easier, as choosing someone who's usually an enemy is tricky when it comes to trust.

Koala Kong

This old foe hasn't faced crash in a long time, and quite frankly was enjoying his new life as a movie star before Uka Uka suddenly summoned him. Understandably he was frustrated, so Aku Aku chose him to be the muscle for the good side, with the promise he could return to Hollywood when the contest was over...

N. Brio

While thought to be dead after being taxidermied by Ripper roo, Brio was able to pull a Pheonix and was born again from that weird egg he laid while a flying creature. (The science is complicated, even he doesn't know). Brio's loyalty to Uka and Cortex is questionable at times, so he tends to join whatever side he feels like... since this was the case, Aku decided to chance it and bring him to the good side this time.

Fake Crash

Instead of being exclusive to Japan like he was in the original, the mysterious Fake Crash is playing for Aku's side. Aku doesn't know if he can trust him, but there was doubt from the evil side as well, so Aku decided to choose him.

And finally the crazy and more personal choice...

Nina Cortex

Honestly, I see Nina more as an anti hero than a villain, mostly due to her backstory. Think about it. She was a pretty normal and happy little girl who loved animals, but then Cortex decided he didn't like that, so he cut off her hands and replaced them with heavy robotic ones so she'd accidentally crush the animals she once loved to pet and cuddle... her introduction in Crash on the Run captures that aspect of her story perfectly. It's so messed up! Keeping that in mind, to me it would only make sense that Nina, evil or not, would absolutely grow to despise her uncle, possibly want to crush him with the hands he forced her to have... she may have wanted an excuse to fight against him, which Aku sensed. With a hatred of her uncle stronger than her disdain of the Bandicoots, Aku figures she would have no problems joining his team, allowing her a sample taste of revenge in exchange for helping prevent catastrophe.

The Bad Side

I won't go too much in detail here, but this is pretty much the characters I see as still loyal to Uka and Cortex, with the exception of N. Tropy, seeing as Tropy is his own villain.

Cortex, N. Gin, Pinstripe, Tiny, Rilla Roo, and Lab assistant as the returning classics. Tiny is described as being extremely loyal to Cortex, so it struck me as odd he was chosen to join the good side in the original, he even betrayed N. Brio in Crash 2 in favor of guarding Cortex's space station, which is why Cortex would take the time to decorate the boss room for him. Pinstripe is also quite loyal to Cortex, maybe not as much as Tiny, but Cortex still made him the C.E.O. of many important facilities, so he'd most likely want to maintain business with him.

But who fills in the last two spots? I kind of just realized Cortex's side is now at a disadvantage... so I'm going to do something a bit unorthodox for the last two members of the bad team. Snipe & Ratcicle from the titans games. Their lore being that Cortex has been working on some mutations of his own for once, and these two are the results. They are two of my favorite mutants, so why not give them a bit of spotlight?

This was just a dumb idea I had in my head... and I thought I'd share. Would this cast be worth playing as?

So I was inspired a bit by @majorpepperidge's Crash Bandicoot fan art and wanted to do a little redesigning of a couple of Titans as individual characters instead of as a group of enemies.

Here's a first draft of a redesign of Snipe, whom I've made into a Spotted Hyena/Eclectus Parrot hybrid. I'm thinking she'll have a pirate motif (Bandanna, crossbow, etc) , but I'm not entirely sure on that.

The backstory behind her is that she was created by Nina Cortex, along with Stench (Whom I intend to redesign next).

Have some random Skylar headcanons so I can procrastinate writing 😅

Was a figure skater from the ages of 5-16. She performed in numerous ‘nationals’ earning herself a few medals in the ladies (singles) and pair skating discipline sections. The only reason she stop was because she wanted to go to college after she graduated.

She used to spend hours during the summer swimming in a nearby lake. She would beg one of her sisters (mostly Chloe) to take her, and she usually did if she didn’t have anything to do. They would swim together and then get something to eat.

Drawing/painting started off as just a hobby, then she taught herself how to do it more ‘professionally’.

Learned to cook at the age of ten (10), since she’s the youngest she always watched her parents or older sisters cook and eventually asked if she could learn. It started off with mac n’ cheese and ended with her knowing how to cook a full meal from scratch.

After she graduated high school she took a gap year and during that year she self taught herself more Spanish, and some German.

Started playing video games at a young age, her first game was Crash Bandicoot.

She loved horror movies growing up, but now has a hard time watching them. If she wants to watch something she’ll ask someone to watch it first and see if there’s any triggers in it that might send her into a panic attack. If not, she’ll watch it.

Wanted to play piano when she was younger, but never got around to it. Too busy with figure skating, school and her horse.

Wanted to be a sniper strictly because she loved sniping on Call of Duty. Then she joined the Marines to pay for her college tuition and became the first woman Marine sniper.

Loves rollarcoasters and will ride any she find at any amusement park she goes too. She got that love from her brother-in-law Evan, he loves going on them and got her into them as well.

Chapter 25: Interview with Slinkys

Crash's Universe, N Sanity Island, Crash's Home.

*KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK.*

*Brio has been knocking on the door for a few minutes.*

N. Brio: "I know we haven't been on the best of terms, but you can't just be ignoring me like this. Hmmm... perhaps their off fighting Cortex still?"

*He doesn't have much time to ponder when a portal opens behind him. Sonic pops out first, followed by Tails, Spyro, Cynder and all the others.*

N Brio thinks: *"Hmm, they don't look like mutants, yet they walk on two legs..."*

Sonic surveys the surroundings: "Well, at least Eggman went someplace tropical for once."

Knuckles: "It sure is. Reminds me of Angel Island's jungle a fair bit."

Big: "Looks like a wonderful place for fishing."

N Brio: *"And they talk too. They don't look like they belong to Cortex. And I wonder who is this 'Eggman'."* "Uh-oh." *They notice him.*

Shadow is the one who notices him first. "Hey... who is that guy?" *They approach him.*

Brio decides to play it cool since they don't know him. "I'm Doctor Nitrus Brio-"

Sonic interrupts. "Wait, DOCTOR? You mean like a scientist?"

N. Brio: "Yes-"

Sonic: "An Evil scientist?"

N. Brio: "Yes- I mean, no!" *But it was too late. Sonic had already plastered a foot on his big head.*

Sonic: "There! One less evil scientist to worry about- DOWCH!" *Amy hits him on the head with her hammer.*

Amy: "SONIC! Didn't you hear him? He then corrected himself."

*Brio starts getting angry and green and getting taller and bigger, but then he pulls out a beaker of green liquid and drinks it, returning to normal.*

Sonic: "What... the heck... was that...?"

N. Brio: "Sweet, lovely mutagen." *He regains his composure.* "Sorry about that. I need to control my anger, lest I turn into a monster."

Sonic: "Yeah, like the Incredible H-DOH!" *Amy smacks him with her hammer again.*

N. Brio: "No, he's right, it's apt. I won't lie, I was an evil scientist."

Sonic: "I knew it." *He shuts up as Amy readies her hammer again.*

Big: "Hmmm, but you don't hold that very well. You're too... meek. You would rather let others take your accomplishments."

Brio: "WHAT? NO!" *He gets more delusional by the second.* "I created the Evolvo-ray! I INVENTED SLINKYS! STOP PLAYING WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY'RE MINE. I INVENTED LIGHT-BRITE AND WROTE THE BIBLE!" *He turns into the Hulk when he says* "I! WAS! IN! THE! FIRST! GAME!" *He then drinks his mutagen, turning back to normal.*

Sonic: "Oh, great. He's a crazy scientist."

Big: "No... He's putting a façade. The only thing true in that is that he perfected the Evolvo-ray... whatever that is."

N. Brio shows his sanity again. "I see I didn't fool you, eh? You're right. I only perfected the Evolvo-ray, a device to evolve weaker creatures into super soldiers, for Dr Cortex. Now, HE is a evil scientist. He's the one who wants to take over the world."

Sonic: "Sounds just like Eggman if you ask me, wanting to take over the world."

Spyro: "What are you doing here any way? You don't look like you would normally visit here."

N. Brio: "You are correct, I do rarely visit the home of my- I mean, Cortex's creations, Crash Bandicoot, Coco, and Crunch. But I got an anonymous phone call telling me to go to the homes of the bandicoots. The caller was strange, very egotistical. And before we hung up, I swear I heard him laughing 'Bwah hah ha' and I thought I could also hear metal banging on metal in the background."

Shadow: "That sounds quite a lot like the Doctor and Metal Sonic."

N. Brio: "Oh! And sometimes, some robots would question what he was doing, only to get a 'Quiet nincombots!' in response."

Sonic: "Now that does sound like Eggman, he never compliments his robots at all."

N Brio: "So, that is who this Eggman is... Hmmm... I did sense an evil just like Dr. Cortex. Which reminds me, none of the bandicoots are here, which troubles me. I know that they can go off to fight Cortex, but he usually tells me about it. (He is Cortex's friend, no matter what.) But there was no call. Did the bandicoots finally fail?"

*The ground suddenly starts shaking.*

Sonic: "Whoa! Is this an earthquake?"

N. Brio: "No... RUN!"

*Everyone moves away from Crash's home towards the beach as thorns shoot up from the ground, missing them. On the beachfront, the water freezes with ice.*

Amy: "What's happening?"

N. Brio: "It's the mutants! They're attacking us! But why?!"

Sonic: "Mutants?"

*From the forest behind them, Spikes, Snipes and Magmadons rumble their way while from the water, Ratcicles and Eel-lectrics slither and slide out. They gang up on the heroes.*

Sonic: "Ooh! A challenge for once. I got this guys." *Sonic starts revving up in his ball form.*

N. Brio looks at the mutants and notices the new headsets on them. He tells Sonic "Sonic! Aim for their heads! Destroy those headsets!"

Sonic: "Got it!" Sonic uses his Light Speed Attack to decimate all the headsets with no trouble at all. They shatter and fall to the ground.

*The mutants go from their crazed state to a more relaxed state, stepping away from the heroes. But before any celebrating can occur, Crunch, with Crash riding him, comes in. Crunch points his arm gun at the heroes.*

Sonic: "Ah, two more want to meet my speed, huh?" *Sonic starts revving up again but Brio stops him.*

N. Brio: "No, wait! That's Crash and Crunch... but they're different."

Big: "They appear to be under mind control. But whoever did this didn't do a very good job on controlling them. Hmmm..."

*He performs a thunderous clap, awakening Crash and Crunch from their mind control. Crunch drops his gun arm and Crash accidently loses his balance and falls onto the ground.*

*Sonic can't help but chuckle at Crash's fall. Then Amy proceed to whack him over the head with her hammer again.*

Crunch: "Oh, my... what happened? Why are we back home?"

Tails: "You guys were hypnotized into trying to attacking us."

Crunch: "What, you little critters? (Crunch is about taller than OMEGA) Darn it, it was that Cortex and the rotund dude."

Sonic: "Rotund dude? Did he wear a red suit and black pants and shoes?"

Crunch: "Why, yes! He trapped us in cages. He said his name was Eggman or something."

Sonic: "Yep, that's Eggman all right."

Crunch: "Then Cortex took us to his Evolvo-ray and then evolved us to look like this. After that, it's all blank for a few days, save for a command to attack a blue hedgehog and his friends just recently."

Crash has gained more than enough brain cells to speak, but all he says is "New Evolvo-ray!" before silencing himself again, as though he rather not speak.

N. Brio: "WHAT! He made a new Evolvo-ray without me?! That does it! Follow me, I'm taking you guys to wherever Cortex is."

*N. Brio jumps into the nearby rubble of what was the old Space Head (From Mind Over Mutants). The others jump in as the Space Head starts working again. N. Brio can be heard saying "Found you!" as they reach the room N. Brio is in.*

N. Brio: "Hop on this teleporter here, it's going to take you were Cortex and this Eggman is."

Crunch: "Why should we trust you? You're not exactly a good guy."

N. Brio: "Yes, I know. But you should also know I am angry that he has thrown out the old Evolvo-ray. I'm done not taking credit! GET ON AND KICK HIS ASS!"

*Not wanting to make Brio go Hulk on them again, they get on and are sent to the Space Egg's / Death Head's lowest levels.*

DEATH HEAD'S / SPACE EGG'S BRIDGE

Eggman is in command when the alarm goes off, saying there are intruders on board.

Ensign Cubot: "Commander, there is an army intruding on board."

Ensign Orbot: "It appears to be Sonic, Spyro, Crash, and the others, Commander."

Commander Eggman: "Excellent, they're right on time. Lt. Commander Metal Sonic, inform the, ugh, Captain that Sonic and Crash and the others have arrived."

Lt. Commander Metal Sonic: "YES, COMMANDER... NO RESPONSE FROM THE CAPTAIN, COMMANDER."

Eggman: "What?! Oh, that's it." *He goes to the ready room and bangs on the door.* "CORTEX?!" *The door doesn't open.* "CORTEX!" *The door is still closed.* "Metal Sonic, force the door open."

Metal Sonic: "Yes, sir." *He overrides the door's security lock, making it open.*

Eggman sees a sight that stops him midsentence, saying only "Cor...tex...?"

*Only one light is on in the ready room as Cortex sings into a microphone.*

Cortex: ♪ "Tonight, I'm gonna have myself a real good time. I feel ali-i-i-ive! And the world, I'll turn it inside out, yeah. I'm floating around in ecstasy. So-"

Dingodile: ♪ "Don't-"

Tropy: ♪ "Stop-"

N. Gin: ♪ "Me-"

Uka-Uka: ♪ "Now."

Nina: ♪ "Don't-"

Komodo Moe and Joe: ♪ "Me-"

Tiny: ♪ "Me."

Eggman: "Oh, brother."

*Pinstripe and Koala Kong raise the lights.*

Cortex (The others take the back-up): ♪ "Cause I'm having a good time! Having a good time! I'm a super star shooting through the sky like a tiger, defying the laws of gravity. I'm a racing car, passing by like Lady Godiva! I'm gonna go, go, go, There's no stopping me! I'm burning thorough the sky, yeah, 200 degrees! That's why they call Mr. Fahrenheit. I'm trav'ling at the speed of light! I wanna make a supersonic man out of you!"

Eggman: "Great, now I have to hate Queen..."

Cortex: ♪ "Don't stop me now! I'm having such a good time, I'm having a ball. Don't stop me now! If you wanna have a good time, just give me a call! Don't stop me now! Cause I'm having a good time. Don't stop me now! Yes, I'm having a good time. I don't wanna stop at all! Yeah."

Eggman: "You're gonna have to stops sooner or later."

Cortex: ♪ "I'm on a rocket ship on my way to Mars, on a collision course. I'm a satellite, I'm out of control. I'm a sex machine ready to reload! Like an atom bomb! about to oh- oh- oh- oh- oh- explode! I'm burning thorough the sky, yeah, 200 degrees! That's why they call Mr. Fahrenheit. I'm trav'ling at the speed of light! I wanna make a supersonic woman out of you!"

"Don't stop me; Don't stop me; Don't stop me; hey, hey, hey! Don't stop me; Don't stop me; Ooh, ooh, ooh! I like it! (Don't stop me; Don't stop me;) Having a good time, good time. Don't stop me; Don't stop me; Oooooooah! Alright!"

Eggman: "Fine, they are doing a pretty good job."

Cortex: ♪ "Ooooh! burning thorough the sky, yeah, 200 degrees! That's why they call Mr. Fahrenheit. I'm trav'ling at the speed of light! I wanna make a supersonic man out of you! (Hey, hey!)"

"Don't stop me now! I'm having such a good time, I'm having a ball. Don't stop me now! If you wanna have a good time, just give me a call! Don't stop me now! Cause I'm having a good time. (Yeah, yeah) Don't stop me now! Yes, I'm having a good time. I don't wanna stop at all! Yeah."

"La, ra, ra, ra, rah, ra, ra, ra, hah, Ha, ra, ra, ha, ha, haaa, Ha, ra, raa, ha, ra, ra a-a-a- Ooh, ooh, ooh..." ♫

Eggman: "Are you guys done now?"

Cortex: "Ah! Yes... I'm just so happy."

Eggman: "So much so that you need to stop all communications out there?"

Cortex is clearly ecstatic. "Well, you saw how much fun we had... now what is it?"

Eggman: "Well, you remember I told you to send Crash, Crunch, and an army to handle Sonic and his friends?"

Cortex: "Ah, yes. Did they kill them?"

Eggman gives a sarcastic response. "Oh, yeah, they did such a good job."

Cortex, cheerfully: "Wonderful."

Eggman starts to rage, but then he calms down. "No, Cortex. They're here in the station."

Cubot comes in. "Reports are that they are in the Prehistoric Terrarium."

Orbot: "We shut them in there, but I don't think we will keep them in there for long."

Cortex: "WHAT!"

Uka-Uka flies over in rage. "That bandicoot is still after us?! YOU STILL FAIL ME, CORTEX, AND I DON'T GET HOW!"

Cortex: "Now, hang on. I got a plan. Dingodile, go to the Prehistoric Terrarium."

Dingodile: "Al'ight, sir. It's gonna be a roast."

Cortex: "The rest of you! To your Terrariums. We are going to stop them!"

*Everyone leave to where they need to be.*

Next Time: Get ready to see some dinos in the Prehistoric Terrarium.

Hello,

and welcome to this new Tumblr of mine! The idea is to post about the games I play, my reactions, and try upload photos and perhaps even short videos.

How’d I get interested in gaming?

Well, guess it all started in Lapland, Finland, visiting my cousins there. Their dad had Nintendo 64 there and a Mario game (forgotten which one exactly D: ) and me and my brother got to try it. One of my other uncles had a PlayStation, and he’d let us play a WRC rally game. Brother and I would share a tamagotchi, and a Donkey Kong handheld game. :D Woo such great times… Oh yeah and of course, there was the Windows 3D Pinball Space Cadet on our family’s PC. And naturally, as a Finn I owned a Nokia phone, so I got to play Snake a lot. (Definitely not during any classes… no…)

Then, I don’t remember exactly when, mom finally let us have a PlayStation of our own. It was one of the travel-sized versions of PS1. I had Spyro the Dragon, and my brother had Gran Turismo 2 for it, and we shared Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped.

Later, visiting some people, I saw a boy about 7-years-old playing Final Fantasy VII. He wasn’t good at it… so I grabbed the controller and was HOOKED. So some months later, one wintery, snowy day, with 38C fever, I walked about 6 kilometers to the local supermarket and bought the game to myself. It’s been a steady downhill since then. :D

I got VIII next, then VI, then IX, and - after mom agreed to get us the PlayStation 2 - X, X-2, XII…. At times I’d play other games. Like, for some reason my grandmother bought me some horse-riding game (years after I’d been over my horse-girl phase???), and The Little Mermaid II (!!???). I tried Tekken 3, Grant Theft Auto, and whatever game demos I sometimes got with games and game magazines, like a skateboarding game. At times, my brother would outright order me to play NHL or FIFA with him—the horror. A friend of mine had a GameBoy, and she’d let me try Pokémon Yellow and Red, and some Zelda game.

But, for almost a decade or so, I pretty much played nothing else but Final Fantasy games. :D I did get the Devil May Cry games (1 to 3, and later, 4), but though I got through the first one, I never really got into the series. (After beating 4 recently, I sold them all away.)

At some point on my life, I started dating this guy (now an ex) who also liked video games to an extent. Without him, I wouldn’t know about this wonderful thing called In The Groove. It was addictive. Anyway, we moved in together, and he got us the Xbox360. He’d play games like Call of Duty, Halo, … while I remained a loyal fan to the Final Fantasy series, buying the XIII saga. Stuff happened, we had to live separately for a while, and he bought another 360, this time with the Kinect thingo, for me to use in my/our new hometown.

Around these times I discovered Steam, and - the picky, cheap bastard that I am - refused to venture into new adventures, and bought FFVII and VIII when they were on sale. XD

In the new hometown, there’s a GameStop near the local bus terminal. So, sometimes when it’s still 10+ minutes until the right bus arrives, I go in there and flick through the used games section. That’s where I found Bioshock Infinite, and despite being terrible at aiming and sneaking, fell in love. (Took me many years to get through it, though! Ha..) Also got Forza Horizon to squelch my thirst for a driving game. I’m not excellent at it, but boy do I love speeding around in my Subaru Impreza WRX STi that sometimes might be painted lightish red.

My cousin pretty much forced me into getting Dragon Age: Origins, too. God, I love that game. Although, it just shows how much I just HATE making decisions. Hate, hate hate. :D Same on Dragon Age II. Jesus, those dialogue options didn’t always end up how I’d wanted!!

In 2015, ex wanted the Star Wars: Battlefront game, and I wanted Dragon Age: Inquisition as well as Watch Dogs.. Due to reasons, we got the Xbox One console on part payment, aaaaand the purchase’s in my name. When we separated, we agreed that I get the old TV, and both the Xbox consoles; PS2 was mine in the first place, as brother didn’t want it when we were both moving out from mom’s.

In the spring, I’ve tried such games as Titanfall (I am so sorry for everyone who had to play with me on their team…. good for you guys I can’t afford the Gold Membership right now!) and most recently, Deus Ex Human Revolution. I still suck at FPS type of games, I don’t understand the gear stats all too well, and I really take my time to aim… and I hate sneaking around… XD But I’m still enjoying the games, especially DEHR.

An incident that happened years ago with ex, when he got me to try CoD: Black Ops II, reveals the type of player I am when it comes to FPS. Right, so. I was P2, and he was P1. P1′s side of the screen is at the top, P2′s at the bottom… I kept staring at the top all the damn time. And I was totally clueless about the controls, the camera…. My dude would just stand there, looking up and around and totally confused, and ex’s dude would just either snipe mine down, or just simply walk up right behind my dude and stab / strangle that motherfucker to death.

I also totally don’t randomly throw grenades etc because I forget the commands…. and I also totally never ever see movement on the screen and just start shooting at my team members. Nope.

Anyway, in a nutshell, I played Final Fantasy for years (recently finished XV!!) and only like very recently have started trying out other games: I enjoy the driving and shooting ones. (Wow, that’d sound bad out of context.)

PS. I hate puzzles in games. Despite being in university, studying linguistics and whatshit, I often feel very dumb. Like, very. And puzzles make me so mad.
