Fe as a base (1st) function (ESE and EIE)
The individual is always in tune to the emotional flow surrounding him, and responds to it spontaneously and directly. He seeks out and creates activities where people are totally engaged in what they are doing. Something’s value is directly tied to how much it arouses his or another’s passion.
He is highly proactive about steering the emotional flow in the direction he himself considers ideal to a given situation. He may, for example, try to cheer people with jokes if he sees that they are too gloomy or, conversely, to get people to be serious and concentrated if they are too carefree during a crisis situation. Nevertheless, he believes emotions should be expressed as honestly as possible.
Fe as a creative (2nd) function (SEI and IEI)
The person is sensitive to the emotional atmosphere around him, either from an individual, or a group, or even from inanimate objects such as the landscape, the state of the physical environment he happens to be in, or his own emotional associations with the place or people around him. A positive emotional atmophere is essential for his sense of well being and inner peace, and he either tries to promote it himself by directly influencing it around him, or by simply moving away from the environment or the people causing a negative emotional environment in his view.
For the SEI, this takes an on-the-spot aspect and is reflected in cracking jokes, trying to make people laugh, or simply moving away from people he perceives as affecting him negatively. For the IEI, this takes a longer-term perspective; so the focus, rather than being on the immediate emotional environment, is on the perceived longer-term emotional state of others towards the individual, and is reflected in trying to be on good terms with those he interacts with or seeking distance or protection from, or “preventively” attacking, those he sees as irremediably hostile emotionally.
Fe as a role (3rd) function (LIE and LSE)
The individual makes an effort to adapt to the prevailing emotional atmosphere, especially in group situations, and tries to promote a positive emotional environment, as in making positive or witty remarks, in the presence of individuals he is already somewhat acquainted with and appreciates. Such efforts, however, are normally low-key and of short duration; it is difficult for him to display emotions more complex or intense than enthusiasm. He is essentially unable to participate in a group atmosphere where intense emotional expression as in loud laughing and mutual jokes are prevailing. The individual makes an effort to be aware of the need not to disrupt the prevailing emotional atmosphere but he does not succeed for any length of time if that would clash with his inner emotional state and private feelings about the other persons present. A typical example is the person who, in a group of people exchanging pleasantries and casual conversation, will occasionally correct erroneous statements made by others, in a way that can be perceived as annoying, despite otherwise making an effort to abide by the prevailing emotional atmosphere.
Fe as a vulnerable (4th) function (ILI and SLI)
The individual tries hard to never let himself “come apart at the seams” emotionally or even let out strong feelings publicly, because displays of passion do not come naturally and make him feel self-consciousness and vulnerable to painful criticism. This makes the individual generally seem emotionally neutral and politely indifferent to excitement and agitation around him. The individual deeply dislikes attempts by others to get him to “cheer up” or “join the fun”, especially in the context of group activities with loud emotional expression.
Fe as a suggestive (5th) function (LII and LSI)
The individual often becomes engrossed in serious work, which leads him to neglect his complementary need for fun and emotional release. He also feels vulnerable expressing himself spontaneously in public, which allows bad emotions and stress to build up, leading to depression or sudden hostility. He enjoys being around people who make him feel comfortable expressing himself, and who can make every day new and exciting.
Although he may present a hard exterior in the company of strangers, he is likely to not be serious at all with people who know him better. His behavior changes radically - a calm and serious structured person will suddenly become jovial and warm.
Fe as a mobilizing (6th) function (ILE and SLE)
The individual longs for situations where people are having fun, laughing and joking, and feel emotionally free and spontaneous. However, he is generally unable to produce this atmosphere himself and uses other means to create situations where there is a good chance that others will take the emotional initiative and create a fun and emotionally stimulating atmosphere. Failure at such attempts are met with dismay, which the individual either hides or reacts to with frustration and annoyance.
Fe as an ignoring (7th) function (ESI and EII)
The individual is perfectly able to integrate in a group emotional situations, such as people having fun and trading jokes, and sustain that for a long period of time. He is also usually adept at promoting such an atmosphere himself. However, he sees no point in doing so if his own inner emotional state does not prompt him towards that, especially if he does not feel as having positive private feelings towards the other people involved. He is aware of the need to keep a “polite façade” in certain social situations even in the presence of people he personally dislikes or during periods of negative inner emotions, but he refuses to actively attempt to integrate in, or promote, a positive external emotional atmosphere in such occasions. His disinclination for doing so increases along with his feelings of closeness with the individuals present.
Fe as a demonstrative (8th) function (SEE and IEE)
The individual appreciates situations where people are enjoying a positive emotional atmosphere as in having fun and joking together, and is quite adept at creating them himself, but does not see creating or promoting them a top priority, nor does he actively look for people who maintain or need such an atmosphere; too high a focus on that is seen by the individual as overdone.

Katara in the og ATLA was a weird character in the sense that she had very clear ESI values and temperament.
But when she interacts with Aang, an IEE, she would suddenly change her demeanor into one of a SEI or ESE for the sake of making their romance more believable.
I think the writers subconsciously picked up on that and from then on they made sure to mellow her out by making her a SEI. That would explain why in subsequent adaptations such as Legend of Korra and the two Live-Actions her self-righteous anger and head-strong attitude were pretty much non-existent.
That's my personal theory at least.

I want to start analyzing the characters’ forms of romantic love using Socionics theory—a personality typing system similar to MBTI but more in-depth. Socionics puts a big focus on relations and compatibility between types.
So I plan to use the characters’ sociotypes to explain their possible romancing behavior. This is all theory and headcanons and I’m using personality-database.com as source for their types. There’s room for inaccuracy but this is what i have to work with…
Remember this is just for fun and shouldn’t be taken seriously
Anyway! Let’s start with Cater! If this gets an ok amount of engagement, I might make a more in-depth post or do other characters later.
Tumblr media
Cater - ESE (ESFj) - “The Communicator”
Cater’s sociotype is ESE (ESFj) which fits with his sunny, outgoing personality. His forms of love are Mania and Eros (I will cover that in a bit). He’s the type that when he falls, he falls HARD. And there isn’t much stopping him when it comes to conquering what (or who) he desires. Even when the other party shows disinterest, he won’t lose hope.
Cater is the type that gets blinded by love he doesn’t notice or acknowledge the other person’s flaws. His type makes him a very passionate lover.
Here are some quotes about this type:
“The COMMUNICATOR is cheerful, optimistic, and can endure a lot from the object of his feelings. Despite his emotionality and sensitivity, he is quite an imperous and strong character.”
“Erotic stimulus and recklessness of this passionate and persevering conqueror make him capable of many compromises for the sake of feelings.”
“Only inherent to him cheerfulness and a sense of humor help him overcome all obstacles on the way to his goal, not taking close to heart neither the coldness nor even flat refusals of a partner - for as long as this person is of interest for the COMMUNICATOR. His belief in success and reciprocity does not run low even in the most hopeless situations.”
“If he manages to win over his partner, whom he has fallen in love with, he does not consider any formalities. His emotion and desire is so great that is makes him close his eyes to much.”
“The sensing types SEI and ESE enjoy being gently stroked on their skin. However, the ESE is much more emotional and passionate in his love manifestations…”
Now back to forms of love, the ESE combines Mania and Eros for his romance style. Here are their descriptions:
Eros:
“This is a passionate, powerful, and sensual attraction to the object of love. Appearance and manner of behavior of a loved one are of great value here. They evoke aesthetic feelings and reverence before the outward perfection, often exaggerated - of face, figure, gait. People for whom this form of love is predominant seek harmony of both body and soul, and are able to turn a blind eye to minor flaws and faults. Inspired by love, they are capable of great devotion, constantly improving their own manners and ways of expressing their feelings, as well as forms of their body, beauty of their clothes, aesthetics of their environment. They willingly adjust and adapt their partner to themselves. They give much importance to physical enjoyments. Not finding the desired harmony, they become forever disappointed in the object of their feelings, and easily part ways with him or her. This form of displays of affection became widespread in ancient Greece, is most characteristic of developed societies, and is still widely promoted by the media and various forms of art.”
Mania:
“Prolonged emotional ecstasy, obsession with love, over-valuation of its significance, which leads to strong emotional shocks, reckless actions, and even dramas. This feeling is strong, possessive, demanding, thirsty for complete reciprocity, but also capable of many compromises. This love is very enduring, even in those cases when it is unrequited. Often it is capable of heroism and sacrifice, and even unconditional devotion. It is full of contradictions, since it is very dependent on changeable moods. Quarrels may be frequent with this kind of love, as well as sharp contrasts in behavior, even fleeting infidelity. It is the cause for unpredictable actions and disregard for generally accepted norms of behavior. Mania love exists since ancient times, but it became most widespread in the 20th century in Western Europe after the sexual revolution, whose followers called for the emancipation of the senses and the denial of the cold bourgeois rationality. It has not lost its relevance in our pragmatic time, though it has become less dramatic.”
Cater puts a lot of value into aesthetics so Eros seems to fall in line with him. This doesn’t mean beauty and good looks is the sole source of his love. They might help get him interested, but once he falls in love, the other person will be nothing but perfection and flawlessness to him.
Now out of all forms of love, Mania is the most passionate. It’s that crazy kind of love which may veer into obsession. Cater can withstand a lot of sacrifice for the sake of love… which makes sense when you look into his habit of people-pleasing.

fic commentary/notes for monsoon
the document title for this fic was "monsoon - aka angry, horny, tilted lance". i would have liked it to be "angry, slutty, tilted lance" but i don't think he comes across as too angry in the output which is fine, and the original concept i had for this fic involved a lance that was slutty. but that would require 3k more words which i knew i couldn't do in time for ms strulovic's birthday. i was a day late on posting anyway but we move ;_;
influences/inspiration (boring version):
i will actually not get into how i came to the socionics research and the psychoanalysis that happened using wikisocion dot net and sociotype dot com because that will take too long and i will sound crazier. TLDR; here are quotes from the intertype relationships page that made me start thinking:
“Quasi-identical partners are able to find common topics for conversation, understand each other to sufficient depth, but they remain perceptive of mutual "otherness" [...] Quasi-identical partner, as a rule, does not hurt your weakest spots. You do not feel a threat from him, but neither do you feel equality.”
"Activation partners who become close and discuss their strivings and personal worldviews often are struck by how radically different they are, despite the relative ease and benefit of communication. As opposed to duals, who tend to strive for the same things but from differing, though compatible angles, activation partners' approaches to achieving their goals tend to be fundamentally incompatible, due largely to the difference in rationality and irrationality.*"
*rationality and irrationality here are dichotomies used to measure a person's approach to certain things ie. "judging / perceiving" if we're talking mbti , thinking / feeling, and intuitive / sensing etc. (Yes socionics takes some of the same topology from mbti but uses more dichotomies alongside it so i really do nottttt want to get into it here bc i'm gonna sound more insane)
ANYWAY, activation partners came out more as the result when i was obsessively matching sociotypes i thought fitted my read of fernando and lance (ty to cofi's mutual who helped back up that fernando also leans towards introversion lol). i was talking to @strulovic abt activation and she also pointed out this could apply to lance and esteban's friendship due to their very different upbringing, which is interesting. i got quasi-identical once, which i thought wasn't wrong either imo, so i pasted it in my doc for reference. strulovic wanted to read something bittersweet and she wanted to read fic of lance in this terrible season of 2023 so i knew i had to deliver...
more inspiration (not so boring):
"Living Legend” was originally written and recorded around 2013 and is an ode to one of Lana’s long-time friend and mentor, Jane Powers. Lana thanked Jane directly in a Facebook post on July 31, 2013, announcing the song.
i got the title "monsoon" from the song living legend. i thought it was fitting with lance being a strong wet weather driver.
lyrics from colossus - idles:
They laugh at me when I run I waste away for fun I am my father's son His shadow weighs a tonne
i think this is self-explanatory. not to be me and reveal my tastes and roots in kp*p rpf but i've always liked writing about the ones who are unpopular (by fan consensus) and are misread a lot. all my years of pop idol rpf folding into that first scene about lance and his not attending the fanzones.
lyrics from jennifer's body - hole:
And I know it, I can't see it But I know it enough to believe it
To better you, to better me My bitter half has bitten me It's better than you, it's better than me
lance and the 2023 season basically.
some quotes from articles:
Tumblr media
(x) 2016 article of an interview w lance
Tumblr media
(x) article of lance in the ferrari academy
Tumblr media
(x) from an interview with fernando
i think it personally can be a little bit clumsy to directly reference too many things in fic from canon and i try not to but firstable, i don't read much fic so i haven't read anything that might have already done this for lance.
second of all, as strulovic said, lance and fernando having met in that ferrari kart race in montreal is just fascinating in perspective. as what she said: "that's how they met in the first place of course, but also Fernando saying his one regret was not being able to win a championship with them [Ferrari], Lance being their first 'experiment' with how far they could mold a young talent into a championship-winning driver; one of the reasons Lance interests me so much is the nurture vs nature element in his career." sorry im just grabbing her fic comment from my inbox but i couldn't have put it better fjdlkgjdfkl.
which is why i really wanted to give weight in that scene when lance talks about his old journaling habit from the academy -> sucks fernando off for the first time lol.
re: writing lance's interactions with the older drivers/former teammates/almost-teammates (bottas); i think it's just funny how his dad thinks it's better for him. something something clearly it's made him how he is, and i guess i tried to explore that in relation to how he sees fernando as well.
i orphaned object permanence, which was the first lance pov fic i wrote, bc i wasn't satisfied with what i'd written, like.. it's hard to explain but some of it felt fundamentally wrong to ME, although i still am grateful for the comments i got on it! i'm more at peace with what i wrote this time.

if you don't mind questions: what do you think my most likely socionics type is based on the rest of my typology? i'm having so much trouble with it
i'm an INTP 5w4 so531 ScOa|I| LVEF 2311 sang-mel phch-ch-mel IT(N)
also, I'm an 18 year old autistic lesbian too and our names have half of the letters the same (i'm zora) which i thought was a cool coincidence
LII. You could also look into ILI, however as I loosely mentioned in the previous question I did, socionics and Jung have to correlate directly, meaning you'd have to reevaluate your Jung (IT(N)-IN(T)). Though considering the rest of your typology is essentially archetypal with LII i doubt that.  I obviously don't know the exact amount of info you've read, but if you're looking for more resources to read on, my favourite is wikisocion, which i think is a pretty common answer. It's a very complete site, though some things can be quite a search. Other sources you could check out  are classic socionics, the pdbwiki page and possibly sociotype if all else fails.
Anyhow, that is indeed a pretty cool coincidence ^^

Sociotype Profiles — EII
Ego
Leading Fi
Central to the EII are their personal sentiments or attitudes towards the people and events surrounding them and the demands of their conscience. The EII is in a persistent state of subjective evaluation, trying to assess how they feel. They tend to form attitudes based on their personal ideals of 'goodness' and then strive to act sincerely to these sentiments. When applied to behaviours and actions, this provides them with strong ideals of what is ‘decent’ of a person, and they tend to hold themselves to nearly quixotic standards. Often they may feel a sense of disappointment with their own actions, not living up to their potential. When applied to people, this promotes social selectivity, with EIIs being motivated to form close, meaningful and stable bonds with those they feel to be of a desirable character and avoiding those they feel to have bad intentions. EIIs tend towards idealism and may be reluctant to form their deepest, closest connections with just anyone. Instead they will keep most people as friendly acquaintances and spend much time waiting for the special person who would be right for a romantic relationship, occasionally waiting so long as to not commit to anyone at all. In each case, they create the appropriate psychological distance with each individual according to their inner compass, sharing themselves completely and honestly with those they feel close to, while being more reserved and distant with those they are less sure of.
Creative Ne
As an aid to their leading function, EIIs like to keep an open mind to the numerous possibilities. In tandem with their main approach of assessing the inner character of others, this provides a sense of ‘good faith judgement’. Instead of judging someone on their superficial actions or deeds, the EII tries to get a grasp of a person’s potential to be good, where they have room for growth. In this way, they are able to largely see the best in others and indirectly draw that goodness out of those they care for. For this reason, they are less likely to cut off their relations with others if they have had a bad experience, tentatively and indefinitely delaying character judgement until they are sure of the person's potential. In the same way, EIIs are open to new ideas and may enjoy a wide range of eclectic and even quirky interests, often being open to the potential these areas offer to improve their lives. However, this also results in a non-committal nature of EIIs, who prefer to try out a range of different experiences and walks of life, rather than commit themselves to a particular path and cut out alternatives. This can result in a meandering or wandering effect, the EII drifting between different activities and phases, trying things out but not staying long in any one thing.
Super-Ego
Vulnerable Se
Although greatly aware of their personal attitudes and sentiments, EIIs largely lack the ability or the desire to assert their will and enforce their judgements on others. This is the anathema to their accepting, chance-giving nature, where in an attempt to see the potential good in others and explore desirable characters, a forceful imposition of one's own attitude onto someone may be a failure to respect the humanity of the individual and the possibility they may be misunderstood. Despite often becoming the voice of personal conscience in a community, they are naturally too naive to the competitive battle of wills to effectively fight and resist others. Frequently, they may misunderstand threats in their environment, not knowing when their disappointment with the conduct of another person, or very personal reaction to an upsetting stimulus might lead to an argument or fight, often resulting in their criticism of a situation getting them into trouble and having to remove themselves from the suddenly and unexpectedly aggressive vicinity. They do not understand power play and may naively expect the best of others, failing to notice the realistic pressures and forces that make a person act less than their ideal. Often sensitive souls, they will likely feel vulnerable and strained in their physical surroundings, easily becoming overwhelmed when they feel someone is invading their personal space or acting boisterously and feeling attacked when no harm was intended. EIIs can quickly tire of anything requiring decisiveness in the present, tensing up when demands are placed on them to suddenly respond to a real, immediate threat or crisis and will do all they can to stay out of conflicts. At the same time, they tend to be entirely oblivious to the fact that they may come across to others as overly weak and delicate. Only on matters of conscience might they make a stand, usually to their defeat.
Role Ti
Despite being disposed to sentimental judgements, EIIs are aware that being more objective is required in certain situations. As such, the EII attempts, and mostly succeeds, to be more logical, being able to structure and organise their ideas reasonably well and provide clear analytical reasoning when needed. They also are capable of thinking impartially and coming to fair, unbiased judgements. However, such tendencies are attempted inconsistently as the EII much prefers the subjective, more sentimental approach, determining what feels ‘good’ rather than merely technically correct. Usually they will apply logical analysis and breaking concepts down into parts when they are looking at something of personal meaning to them and are trying to convey their ideas to others. However, doing so for protracted periods can be intellectually tiring. Instead, the EII longs to be shown the processes and practical steps for how things actually work, so that they do not have to structure their understanding in theory. The EII is tolerant of order and regularity in their lives and is usually comfortable with compliance as long as they feel the rules are in place for the right reasons and interpret them as guidelines of safety, rather than coercive dictations. However, they will quickly become the voice of conscience when they personally feel that the law is oppressive, cruel or wrong.
Super-Id
Mobilizing Si
The delicacy of EIIs can result in a certain amount of hypersensitivity to their surroundings, with slight changes in the environment easily throwing them off centre. This results in a strong desire of the EII to maintain peace and stability in their lives. As such, EIIs actively try to keep their surroundings and relationships with others relaxing and anodyne, preferring quiet, quaint backgrounds. In reducing their surroundings to the pleasant and painless, EIIs feel that they can have some hold on their present reality and keep the harsher forces and pressures at bay. Similarly, EIIs are often attracted to environments of picturesque beauty and seek out such tranquil surroundings for work and leisure. EIIs may take personal pride in the performance of a task requiring attention to fine-detail and working with their hands, especially if the task is of some special meaning to them and allows the opportunity for EIIs to attain high quality in their work. In such activities, the idealistic perfectionism so common to EIIs can find a cathartic release and many EIIs make their closest friendships with people they meet during such pastimes. Furthermore, EIIs can become quite health-conscious and fussy about their close friends and relations not looking after themselves properly, taking it upon themselves to provide for them. For the sake of their feelings, the EII needs stability, and they do their best to not allow disharmony to throw off their calm. At the same time, they lack an instinct for their own survival and might end up unknowingly walking into danger despite their attempts for everything to be safe and secure.
Suggestive Te
EIIs naturally associate human decency with the will to do practical good in the world, but are largely lacking in practical skills. Often they have little awareness of how efficiently they are performing a particular task and can easily waste their time and energy. Consequently, EIIs often worry about failure and incompetence, internally punishing themselves for not being good enough. To aid this difficulty, EIIs can be diligent learners, trying to read up on helpful information that can enable them to do a better job. They desire to be helpful around others, less clumsy and more capable of handling daily matters well. Despite this, they can lack the ability to estimate the helpfulness or relevance of information they read and the methods they carry out, and tend to indiscriminately accept the information they come across unless they get a feeling the person or source is dishonest. For this reason, they greatly appreciate finding a trustworthy, reliable friend with the pragmatic expertise to help them in these areas and will respond very positively to someone taking the time to patiently explain how something works to them. In such situations, they will feel great wonder at the steady stream of practical information and its improvement of their daily lives. EIIs will treat such knowledgeable people as the go-to expert and will readily rely on their assistance in handling the practical challenges of the day-to-day.
Id
Ignoring Fe
The EII is largely resistant and distrustful of attempts to alter or affect their emotions. When someone tries to persuade them of something with an emotive performance, their natural instinct is think such attempts as being insincere and deserving of their silent scepticism. Indeed, these approaches can often lead to them forming a personal opinion that is contrary to the crowd. A quiet, gentle individualism is common to EIIs who often refrain from identifying with any particular group, neither wanting to commit nor to belong to a circle of people they feel no personal connection with. In group situations, EIIs may feel a clash between their conscience and the general mood. When such an occasion arises, the EII is likely to quietly leave the gathering of people, preserving their inner dignity without stirring up a fuss. In interaction with others, the EII is unlikely to be emotionally expressive with strangers, instead opting for a cordial civility and preferring to keep any strong feelings to themselves and only confiding later in someone they feel close to. When upset by others, EIIs are unlikely to express negativity to the surroundings, although they may openly express their worries if they feel something bad is about to happen to those they care about. Despite, their usual reserve, warmth is freely expressed to those they feel personally comfortable with and often looser, more playful emotions can make themselves known.
Demonstrative Ni
EIIs are naturally very reflective individuals who spend a lot of time in their heads, thinking about the long term consequences of their actions. Usually, they are able to get a sense of where events are likely to go with little concrete evidence, and tend to be aware of fatalistic outcomes. Despite this, EIIs are disposed towards keeping open possibilities rather than closing them, just in case they may be wrong and have misunderstood. To judge too quickly and close a window never to be opened again would be undesirable. Instead of deciding to cut people off for not being part of an intended plan, EIIs are more likely to be non-committal, and allow themselves to drift away from things that disappoint them or no longer hold their interest, with every intention of giving someone another chance should things change. In their primary concern of relationships, EIIs will be most likely to apply their long-term focus to knowing where a relationship is likely to go and using this to advise their choices on who specifically to focus on out of many fish in the sea. In this way, they readily idealise a desired relationship and can be picky over who might fit that idealism, despite giving plenty of people a chance to live up to that ideal. Once they have a particular person to focus on, EIIs will move on to their greater priority, i.e. the intimate exploration of everything there is to know or experience about an individual's character. In this way, EIIs are able to go deep for the purpose of greater exploratory breadth.

Sociotype.xyz
Has released a Big 5 to Sociotype converter.
Sadly, the results are a little position sensitive, so it's a bit tricky to directly correlate x type with y type. Best to just put the numbers yourself.

JUNGIAN TYPOLOGY POST #18: SOJT TYPE FAMILIES, MBTI TYPES AND SOCIOTYPES ARE NOT EQUAL! THE PANJUNGIANS ON PERSONALITY DATABASE ARE WRONG!
Hello, everyone. After being asked questions over and over about the likelihood of ESTJ 6, it has become clear to me that many people believe that SOJT, the MBTI and Socionics are all the same. I have already discussed how these 3 typologies are actually very different from each other, but I think this will make it clearer, as I talk about levels of specifity :
Most specific: the SOJT type. The SOJT type is the most specific unit of the 3 typologies, and is a person's differentiation pattern, with everything that is conscious in their pattern listed.
Next most specific: the SOJT type family. The SOJT type family contains several SOJT types that are related to a fully differentiated SOJT type, and all manifest similarly to the fully differentiated SOJT type they are grouped with
Next most specific: the MBTI type. An MBTI type contains SOJT types from about 4 closely related SOJT type families, which can be either introverted or extroverted, thanks to the alternating Grant stack
Least specific: Sociotype. A Sociotype contains various SOJT types from about 10 closely related SOJT type families. The SOJT types, once again, can be either extroverted or introverted, because of the Socionics alternating stack
I hope this explains a lot of what I've been talking about when I mention the specifity of SOJT, and how it is different than MBTI and Socionics

Se Kings/Base in Model S (Socionics)
Se Kings naturally tend to take in the natural congruence of everything around them, the flow and aesthetics of kinetics, the textures and details of everything in their external perception. This perception of natural beauty alone is not enough for a functioning Sociotype however, and they must do something about the different textures they perceive.
Usually, the desire is to maintain this beauty, and put everything into their proper place and maintain this symmetry of the natural order. They are the fastest at perceiving small changes in their environment, and the quickest to correct it however they feel or think fit.
Though, they are perceivers first, and tend to be surprisingly tolerant of more minor deviants in the structure of the natural, more so than an LIE’s Se. The flower usually has its imperfections, afterall. But of course, some things just look too unnatural and can trigger the desire to effect change in some capacity to create a less ugly image. Se Kings, whatever they decide to wear, tends to look easy on the eyes and matching in theory.
They have a natural intuition on how to blend in, and still look good while doing it. Heck, even in changing environments, they can be quite adept at knowing how to reciprocate the style and aesthetics of everything around them.
They have great natural intelligence in ratio to their other functions, and have a way around nature and how things work in that domain. They seem to have an automatic competence for color theory, composition, and other concepts others would have to conceptualize for.
Fe Vital (SLE): SLE’s spring into action best whenever the emotional atmosphere is disbalanced in some way, and they may want to paint a better portrait of the whole scene, so they can devilishly be an instigator or be a diplomat, whatever improves the look. SLE’s can be extremely attuned to small changes in expressions and demeanors, and can seem a bit easy to irritate in some cases. They want everybody to look the way they think is appealing to everyone, like smiling in Happy Town or frowning in Gothville. It can seem needless and unnecessary, but to them, it can be calming, satisfying, and of course, beautiful.
Te Vital (SEE): SEE’s spring into action best whenever they perceive an opportunity to re-adjust things to catalyze productivity. They can move pretty quickly and with flow and competence even through the most convoluted environments. They can tend to physically push things into motion, usually with a goal to make things more smooth for everyone. They are great at manipulating the environment in real time to escape sticky situations.
Disclaimer: Model S is my original model to fix Socionics in my image. More is coming everyday, I promise.
