DHGFRHSBDK SO UH HEY UH MUSICIAN AU! I love Stanley but how does Narry go on about his day? A day in the life of the Narrator and stuff all that jazz. (This is the same anon who cried over this au. I just really love your stuff I'm so sorry. It's really cool.)

I think he doesn't really do much HAHA

He has a pretty chill life, or, well, does stuff that doesn't take much of his time

In a normal day he'd wake up and usually go outside to get some breakfast in a nearby coffeeshop. Would order the same strawberry jelly roll with either green or black tea, and sit on the farthest window of the place.

Later, he'd get to a library to read for children, just cuz he likes being listened to. But, he isn't very good at staying in topic, so he starts rambling/complaining mid lecture. It still amuses the children enough so they come back everytime.

And after that, he'd go back to his house (not without getting some food first) and clean for a bit. I imagine he's very neat, so he doesn't do much effort everytime.

He'd later check for new commissions, since besides writing, he also does freelancing va. If he has works to do, he'll record them firstly before writing on his own stories.

He usually writes with a font pen, in paper, but sometimes he'll also get his laptop to work on the bed while he cuddles his cat, Sally.

He's very affectionate with his cat, so before sleeping, he'll give it attention and lots of pets. :) He might also read a book as he's doing so.

And that's how Narrator spends his days! Sometimes it changes and he goes to hang out with Curator, who in this case is the boss of the editorial-publisher he works with and acquintances/friends with Narrator. :)

This post will be loose facts and ideas that I have! Long post ahead :)

I Hear a Symphony by Cody Fry is the song that'd best describe musician au. Casual, classic, probably too obvious, I know, but it was part of the inspiration that I had for the au

Stanley's favourite classical music to play is Debussy! (Projecting much?)

Narrator has a real name in the au (besides Narrator of course), but his title was earned through publishing books, so he wears it with pride. If you ask him his name, his first thought would be saying "The Narrator" rather than his original name

Following the last point, if you ask Narrator for his legal name, he'd be offended as if you ask a trans person their deadname

Stanley started learning piano at 20 years old, all self taught. He's not against classes and actually encourages them, but he feels that they don't let him have the freedom he always looks for when playing

Narrator doesn't care about gender labels, and doesn't mind it/its pronouns! (But he strongly prefers he/him)

Stanley is 34 years old, while Narrator is 51

Whenever I think of a city where the AU develops, it's always a mixture between New York and Brighton (mostly Brighton). It is smaller than those, but I'm following the vibes

Stanley was born and raised in Mexico

Narrator had a wife and a daughter, but after he got divorced he got pretty distant from them. But each 5-6 months, he will have a dinner with his daughter, just to catch up with things

Following last point, Narrator is fluent in ASL due to his daughter being deaf

Stanley, besides knowing piano, guitar and accordion, has tried playing flute, trumpet and violin. He never got into any of them (but sometimes he will grab a trumpet from the theatre just to practice it more. He thinks it's silly)

Stanley only has contact with his older sister, Mariella. She was the only one who supported him through his transicion and musician career. They're pretty close

Stanley had a fiancé, but somehow it never worked out. They still talk from time to time, and are actually really good friends. Both think it was the best to stay that way

Narrator has a tuxedo cat, her name is Sally. She loves him very dearly, and sometimes she will go with Narrator to Stanley's apartment

Stanley loves rhythm games.

Thanks to 432, the mysterious guard that takes care of the theatre Stanley works in, Narrator has been able to visit Stanley after a concert. Narrator never got their name, and only knows them by 432, the number they have on their back

That would be all facts that come from the top of my head!!! Some are useless, some are pretty lore related ><

I think that they'd prooobably meet at some point. She's an important part of Narrator's life, after all Well, at least Stanley would know of her existence

If they ever meet, I think that rather than a father, Stanley would act very much like an older brother to her And she would appreciate Stanley, and would probably like him more as his father's partner than her mother

Btw, forgot to mention the daughter's already an adult I think she'd be around 26-27 by the time Stanley and Narrator know eachother

What the fuck happened to Stanley in the Eldritch AU

Well, the material that Eldritch Narrator is made of happens to have a really low pH (from 2-1 usually). That means that it can be as acidic as stomach acid.

When interacting with Stanley, a couple of accidents have happened, and now Stanley has these scars that don't go away even if they reset. They have a faint glow, just as the Adventure Line™ on Narrator! But Stanley's are less bright.

I made a small reference sheet for them so you have an idea of where they are :)
