Kims characterization in Technicality is becoming very interesting. At first I didn’t have anything really in mind for this fic outside of the camboy thing, but now it’s like. He did it to act out against his father, sure. But he’s also still a virgin despite that bc he can’t stand to be touched. Reason for that as yet undecided. He’s not exactly reclusive like Tankhun is, but he’s definitely very cut off/isolated. Part of that is the nature of his work; he’s famous enough that he’s been stalked, so he’s naturally very suspicious of anyone he meets, especially anyone that’s too friendly. Which means he’s not set up to be very receptive to people flirting with him.
Then there’s a whole thing with Tawan that happened when he was a teenager. Nothing between them ever happened, but Kim did get weird vibes; it’s not until present time of the fic that Kim finds out the reason reason Kinn broke up with him.
So overall, Kim is very suspicious and standoffish. His approach to his only fans is very business oriented and analytical; he does it less because he wanted to be a porn star and more because he knew there was a niche he could fill, giving himself a disappointing (to his father) but successful career. Not exactly the manic pixie dream girl type. He’s honestly so cold about it that Tankhun thinks he might be asexual.
Then he meets Chay. Who is less starstruck and more just struck, absolutely terrified. He recognizes Kim on sight and he’s weird about it, but he’s weird in a way that makes Kim a little crazy for it, bc it comes from a place of being surprised and intimidated rather then stalker ish and entitled. So obvs Kim has to mess with him a little bit, right?
And Chay proves himself worthy; he’s always very polite and respectful, even when Kim is bullying him (with porn). Never treats him like an object even when he’s talking about the filthy things he wants to do to Kim.
And all of this is why suddenly this fic is a looot longer. Given Kim’s intimacy issues, I want to really drag out their relationship. Kim can be very forward about sex stuff; given it’s his day job, he’s desensitized to it. But most of that happens behind the safety of a phone or computer. Kim can sex chay up all night long, but the second Chay starts wanting to get to know him, suddenly he’s awkward and shy and doesn’t know what he’s doing. (Chay’s a little crazy for it. He wants to bundle Kim up in a pile of blankets and lovingly hold him while fucking him through the mattress.)
Idk, just some rambling thoughts

Mind-reader!Kinn AU thoughts
I just randomly remembered this convo I had with @clandestinegardenias like two months ago (back when I was working on my little vampire!Kinn oneshot) about how Kinnporsche is basically a Twilight AU, which then led into us losing our minds over the idea of the cast having those random special abilities like the Twilight vampires. Since Kinn is obvs Edward, that would make his superpower MIND-READING of all things.
And that’s so !!!!! Because can you imagine Kinn as a mind reader, running this mafia empire with the added ability (which only a handful of people know about) to read the minds of everyone in meetings, to find out who’s planning to cross him, who’s working with his enemies, the second he hears their thoughts. He’d be unstoppable, even more badass, and probably even more of an asshole. (Vegas aka Jacob obv would HATE it bc his special ability is like…growing fur or whatever)
Since Kinn is Edward, that makes Porsche Bella, right? And her special power is this mind shield thing where nobody can get inside her head, including Edward. She’s the only person whose thoughts he can’t read. So imagine how frustrated and intrigued Kinn would be, stumbling across this hot bartender, being so confused that he can’t read Porsche’s thoughts when it’s never happened before. He’s leaned on his telepathy for his whole life to the point that he has even fewer communication skills than in canon, so he’s absolute shit at reading Porsche’s expressions and body language and gauging his feelings, even as he starts falling for him.
But on the flip side, to sprinkle in some agony, Kinn being a mind reader means he can also feel all the fear and anger and horror and sadness constantly surrounding him and thanks to his dad he's been forced to just LIVE with that. He's gotten so used to sitting calm and nonchalant while watching people get beaten up, tortured, killed, etc in front of him, all the while feeling everything they're feeling, knowing their last thoughts. And every time he kills someone, it's like experiencing the death himself. He lives his whole life that way, not even realizing how massively fucked up and traumatized it's made him until here comes this person, this ONE person, who's totally immune to his ability. For once when he looks at him, all he feels is blessed SILENCE, and it's such a relief on the one hand, but terrifying on the other, bc how can he trust Porsche without knowing his thoughts and feelings? How can he possibly love the one person who could betray him, lie to him, leave him, without Kinn ever seeing it coming?
And maybe Tawan just made that fear and mistrust even worse because Kinn could read his mind and still didn’t realize he was being played, because he was naive enough to tell Tawan about his ability early on and so Tawan learned how to hide his thoughts (prob with Vegas’s help). Kinn would never trust anyone after that, but especially not himself, and the idea of putting his heart in the hands of someone like Porsche without even the imperfect protection of reading his mind would be utterly terrifying.
But he chooses to love Porsche anyway, knowing it could ruin him, knowing it’s like Achilles baring his heel for the arrow, knowing it could end in a Judas kiss. He loves Porsche enough to take a gambit, even if it breaks his heart.
So anyway I feel very fine and normal about all of that actually

kinnporsche babes ep 9
- costuming-wise, i love that they put vegas in this witchy, astrology-y shirt for this whole interaction where pete has no idea what the fuck is going on. gotta read the stars, pete!
i also love that in the family conversation we have tankhun entirely in white (because he is 100% right), korn in black (who is 100% wrong), and kinn in the middle in a white shirt and black pants (because he's deeply conflicted about this whole fucking thing)
- it's very hot of vegas to stare at pete like he wants to eat him and it's very hot of pete to just do exactly what vegas says.
- i really love the contrast between the very beginning of the show when porsche is painted as incredibly smooth and confident and gets laid in an alley and who he actually is in a relationship. porsche being someone who knows how to have sex but has fuck all idea about how to seduce someone is chef's kiss. everything's harder once you catch feelings!
- no one suffers like big suffers.
- ken suddenly reappearing to be in the cell with tawan is great foreshadowing.
- WELP there goes the honeymoon period. agonizing. that being said, i really like the path of kinn and porsche's relationship is a series of stress tests for how much they can trust each other and i like that it's not easy. falling in love and admitting you want someone is usually the less complicated part. genuinely trusting someone over the long term is much harder and I think them having to work through that shit is part of what makes their relationship satisfying.
- and finally, tankhun is not wrong once in this entire show and i love that for him. it's such a great note; you can both see why he is not suited to be head of the family and that he very much could have been and would have been terrifying at it.
- vegas in a white shirt to break porsche out because lighter colors are his liar colors!! i just love the costuming and color language in this show so fucking much. also porsche/vegas is extremely valid come at me

I need to talk about vegaspete. For starters, I know I have essentially become a Vegas fan account at this point and I still love him an unhealthy amount.... but Vegas is an awful person. What he did to Tawan kind of broke my heart. Tawan standing there and pleading for the others to believe him that Vegas loves him and is waiting for him. Vegas going so far as to propose in order to get what he wants. He shot Tawan when he was no longer useful. That isn't just mean, that is brutal. And Vegas did it all with no remorse, no reget, no second thought. Do I love him for it? Yes I do. Did Tawan do the same thing to Kinn? Yes. So in a way Karma is it just returning the favor? Yes I think it is. Does that say something about me? Probably. But moving on.....
I find Pete so interesting. I truly think he wants whats best for those around him. But he has this weird darkness to him that he doesnt understand. Or maybe he understands it so well and that is why he knows how to hide it. He is laughing in the face of Vegas, or the devil however you want to look at it. He knows he is about to be tortured and Pete doesn't show fear. I get the feeling he has faced worse and I think in a way that is scarier than Vegas. Someone who has seen the worse and is no longer fazed by anything else is a whole other level of terrifying.
And don't get me started on the close up stare down those two had. I mean the chemistry between these two. But also Pete was stripped naked, tied to a post, and electrocuted and still was smiling. And I feel Vegas has never been more fascinated by anyone. Pete starring right back at Vegas, never looking away even through the torture, just turned this into the best game Vegas has ever played. And he can't wait to see how far he can take it.

today on the list of things i am definitely not thinking about: tawan asking vegas to stay with him forever and vegas saying "you gotta help me", making it conditional. versus him begging pete not to leave. terrified of losing him but still hoping against hope that pete could stay with him, that they could just remain in their own world forever. how tawan felt the same impossible hope despite knowing that vegas had abandoned and used him. anyway i'm definitely not thinking about that at all

“Tawan didn’t love me. Never did. He just used me.”
I really like these three lines, as I think they give us the clearest idea of how Kinn feels and what has been guiding his actions these past 8 episodes. It occurs to me that for all the speculating we’ve done on Kinn’s emotional arc, this is the closest he’s come to really acknowledging the toll it’s taken on him.
“And after that, I couldn’t trust anyone.” Followed by: “I got no choice.” This reminds me of the kiss scene in Ep3. It makes it clear that alone with Porsche is the only time Kinn is truly able to open up. And I think it’s fair to say it’s pretty terrifying for him, considering.
Tumblr media
It’s one of the most straightforward responses we’ve gotten from Kinn about the development of his trust issues. I really do think it is the start of him opening up; however, I think it’s necessary to note that he’s still a bit guarded here. He talks about Tawan but keeps it short, cutting straight to the point. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that he glosses over the specifics of the shooting--it makes sense given the trauma associated with it, but it also shows how guarded he has grown to be. Loving Porsche doesn’t change that. At least, not yet.
“He just used me.” I’m sure Kinn has had these same words drilled into his head again and again, by both himself and his father. I can only imagine how many times Korn has intentionally fed into Kinn’s trust issues, no doubt for what he sees as building “necessary” defenses for his son...Tawan used Kinn, and others will surely do the same. Logically, it makes sense: hardening yourself to the world is easier then accepting the risk of betrayal--especially when it’s a risk that paid off so poorly in the past.
Korn
One of the most prominent ways we see Korn playing into Kinn’s trust issues is in Ep1. He wants to recruit Porsche because of his own hidden agenda, but he clearly points out to Kinn how Porsche does not operate like other bodyguards. What’s so interesting about Korn is that he does not shy away from topics that the bodyguards are too hesitant to bring up. Pete makes several ambiguous references to Tawan in the early episodes, but he never addresses it outright. But though Kinn’s conversations with Korn are layered and admittedly cryptic, Korn makes no effort to be sly. He is constantly putting himself in a seat of power. Even though the audience might not always know what he is referring to, we know that Kinn knows. Korn plays mind games with his family just as much as he does with anybody else. Everything is a puzzle in need of solving. Everything is a chess game.
Not to get too psychoanalytical on Korn, but I think that emotional detachment is one of the ways he manages to avoid all of the angsty trust issues that Kinn has. He can look at situations objectively because he’s trained himself not to grow too close to anyone. This is pretty standard in darker genres like this: feelings are almost always the enemy. Especially when those feelings are for one of your bodyguards who you are literally paying to defend you... But they are also empowering, as we will surely see in the case of Kinn and Porsche.
Tumblr media
So many people are talking about this scene^, but I have to reference the look on Kinn’s face. It’s cold, it’s malicious, and, at least to me, it screams mafia. This is an expression I’d expect from early in the season. Obviously no one can say anything with certainty, but this anger suggests a reversion to the old Kinn: Ep1 Kinn. Something clearly goes on between him and Porsche to throw his walls up again and plant them even more firmly than before. Tawan’s betrayal already had him on guard, but Porsche’s betrayal (or what he thinks is Porsche’s betrayal) will completely shatter him.
This might be far-fetched considering Korn’s peculiar interest in Porsche, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Korn wanted Kinn to feel betrayed by Porsche at some point when he sees just how close Kinn has gotten to him. I stand behind the idea that Korn played some kind of a role in making Tawan go away, so I don’t see why he wouldn’t want something similar when he sees the situation with Porsche. How exactly Korn will manipulate Kinn in the future remains to be seen, but I'm certain his villainy will expose itself much more in the next few episodes.
As always, if you’re interested in more KP meta from me, see this post! :)

I’ve seen people talk about miscommunication between Kinn and Porsche and how they just never quite seem to get there - and it is Kinn not fully trusting Porsche, or Porsche not fully trusting Kinn? And rewatching Episode 10 and the scene on Kinn’s balcony, when Porsche says, “You never trust me” and instead of saying that he does, Kinn kisses him, it’s like...that’s the only way he knows to say it. I think he’s too scared to say the words out loud, because I think it scares him just how MUCH he trusts Porsche, and how deeply he loves him. He’s still feeling burnt from Tawan, even though he no longer has any feelings for him, the betrayal fucked him up very, very badly. Porsche is the only one who broke through to him, and that’s gotta be terrifying. And words are hard! Kinn says thinks very obliquely most of the time, the most honest and open we’ve seen him had been in the woods, and now he’s firmly back in his family’s world. But what he CAN do, is show Porsche, so he does. Is it unhelpful? Yes. Is it working for them? So far. Because I think Porsche gets it, I think Porsche knows he can’t say it to him yet, just like he can’t tell him he loves him. But he does, and a big part of Porsche knows that.
IDK, I just think they’re doing the best they can right now, under the circumstances. Feelings and words about feelings are hard! It’s so much easier to hotbox your boyfriend and then flick his nipples to make him smile, you know? BOYS. BOYS CAN BE SO STUPID.

So, little observation(s) about Vegas in the final showdown and throughout the show overall.
My opinion/interpretation obviously. I can totally see others feeling differently.
*****SPOILERS******
1. Vegas basically warned Porsche that a Minor family showdown was coming and then explicitly called and TOLD him exactly WHEN they were attacking... which is why Porsche was able to get back to the compound in time to help Kinn.
2. I don't think Vegas wants to kill Kinn... it's another one of those he HAS to moments-like when he was ordered to take care of (kill) Pete. Instead of just killing him he starts "monolguing/toying with his food like he's pushing off the inevitable/waiting for something-ANYTHING-to interrupt them and give Kinn the upper hand again. Which leads me to...
3. I don't think Vegas knows who he is or how to define himself in the absence of Kinn and in the absence of his father and that terrifies him.
4. I also straight up think the man is (or at least was) suicidal. He seems to have accepted that he's going to die young and there are several moments when he appears to look forward to that day and an end to the pain.
5. He is so certain the Major family will kill him either in their coup attempt or after it fails that when Korn doesn't he straight up loses his shit. I don't think that was just about losing his father and his position... it was about his story not reaching the inevitable conclusion he always knew was coming... that it was supposed to have, and ultimately Vegas is not ready or able to cope with that.
6. While I DO think Vegas has no problem killing, manipulating or torturing people... even enjoys doing it to a certain extent. I think he is more gray than he was portrayed to be throughout the show... he is a follow orders kind of guy, an enforcer, not a leader.
7. Which leads me to Vegas and his Daddy issues... we get the impression that he tries all these different plans that always fail but I don't think it was quite what we were led to believe. Pete even says, "they hit us because they themselves suck." With all of the abuse Vegas receives (which I imagine was probably much worse and more extensive than what we saw) he doesn't strike me as the type to go off on his own a lot. Do reconnaissance, collect info? Sure, 100%... but when it comes to big, Major plans? I got the feeling that he was mainly following Kan's orders. But then Kan would blame HIM and beat HIM every time his own plan went wrong because he couldn't acknowledge that he was the one who failed/ "sucked." I think that's also why Vegas was so pissed at Tawan, because Tawan DID fuck up which meant that this time it WAS Vegas's fault the plan failed and his inevitable punishment/abuse was justified.
8. Which leads me to my final point (finally, lol) and that is that I think Vegas rebels against his Dad in little, secret ways throughout the series... in ways that (hopefully) won't earn him more of his father's abuse or damage his standing within the families. -he doesnt kill Pete when he's told to do so. -He helps Porsche get info on his mom (when he's supposed to still be in hiding). -he warns Porsche when the Minor family is attacking. -he hesitates to Kill Kinn...
I REALLY want a season 2 so we can hopefully see who Vegas is outside of his defined roles in relation to his father and Kinn.

ANOTHER KINNPORSCHE POLL
Ran out of slots (max is 10) so "Porsche, if he had a bottle of vanilla extract" is not on the list (thank goodness).
Also I'm assuming Elizabeth, Sebastian, Tawan and Ken will be amongst the army of ghosts rallying against our hero. 😂

KinnPorsche Ep 13 Brain Rot
a short one today lads because the rest of it is going into analysis shit-posting
THE FIRST LINE?????? EJRINGFETIGHRTSUO FUCKING VEGAS I CAN'T I'M ABOUT TO DE-UNITE THE STATES FOR HIM
Kinn's smile screams he doesn't realise how much of a manipulative, lying shit his dad is and all he wants is for his boyfriend and his father to get along because he loves both very much.
Tankhun being genuinely distraught over Pete and telling off KP for it is top tier
I am ignoring the Tawan/Vegas to Vegas/Pete parallels because it hurts me, don't talk to me, don't perceieve me
Tankhun really said whore boy funeral hours
The Porchay polaroids are so endearing but also so EMBARASSING PLEASE CHAY YOU ARE A SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD MAN, DO BETTER
Kim speedrunning falling in love and heartbreak
I saw the pool and I had a breakdown. I had to pause and grab my earphones because I cannot sin like this in my father's house
Though I can't lie, with how high Porsche was above the pool's barrier, I was terrified he was going to fall over the edge
Kim being incredibly hot-tempered but hiding it under a cool, suave composure but letting it slip every so often when it comes to Porchay is SO HOT.
Also I love how the bodyguards treat dilf Chan like a Khun as well because they always bow to him, urgh yes, I'd bow to my lord and saviour daddy Chan too
Vegas flirting is offering someone a lighter and yknow what good for him, I don't smoke but I would want him to offer me a light too (and we can commit arson together because Vegas seems like he enjoys arson)
Please tell me Vegas gets to torture the uncle
Okay nvm, the uncle getting shot was an actual jumpscare
something about vegas' shirt is giving. the gold button and brown fabric, very old timey whimey vampire lord.
I have a confession and it's that I did not find Pete attractive. Like yes he is adorable and cute as all shit. But hot? No. UNTIL THIS FUCKING OUTFIT. YES YES I AGREE VEGAS, PETE SAENGTHAM PHONGSAKORN DO YOU KNOW HOW SEXY YOU ARE?????? THIS OUTFIT IS MAKING ME SOME OTHER TYPE OF FERAL.
Tumblr media
DID ANYONE SEE THAT THE EP 14 PREVEIW SAID 'THE LONGEST EPISODE' INSTEAD OF NEXT EPISODE. Y'ALL IF THIS FINALE IS NOT AT LEAST THREE HOURS LONG I WILL RIOT.

do you know what i love even more about the vegaspete scene in this ep? the fact that in this ep is when we see vegas unmasked. we’ve had all these rumblings about how awful vegas really is, how he’s evil and how he’s dangerous and how he’s gonna fuck over the main family, but we’ve never really seen it until now. and in that way, we’re like porsche and tawan, two men vegas has been playing with and two men he’s tried to ruin. porsche he played innocent with, sweet, flirted at first but when he realized that wasn’t getting through, that kinn was too protective and porsche wouldn’t fall for him like that, he still got in his mind with that whole “kill me nicely” speech last ep. and tawan, who he strung around with pretend romance and love and promises of marriage, all to manipulate him into doing his bidding, completing his plan. now porsche sees vegas as the man the rumors say he is, evil and scheming and dangerous, and tawan realizes that all he’s been told has been a lie, that the ring is just a ring, that he was just a playing piece to vegas and nothing else. and when unmasked, both porsche and tawan react how vegas wants them to, they’re horrified and broken and disgusted and angry. that’s what vegas wants, what he thrives of, getting that response out of people. he wants to be threatening and dangerous and feared. and he’s played the game with pete too, flashed small smiles, acted nice and calm, never done anything outright terrifying or threatening. so now, when pete is stripped and bound, and vegas is coming towards him with the ability and the promise to break him, when he’s unmasked, he wants that response. but he doesn’t get it. because pete smiles. he laughs, he looks the evil in its face and grins. and you see, it makes vegas mad. bc when pete is screaming and writhing in pain, vegas is smiling, his face is lit up with sadistic joy. but when pete smiles back, his face drops, gets stiff, there’s that angry tension behind that smile that says “you dare laugh at me”. it makes him angry, it makes him wanna give pete more, make him suffer more. and it plays in to pete’s hands. because pete can take it. bc more than any kind of joy or kick he gets from the pain, what will delight him more, is seeing the way he can get under vegas’ skin, and make him break just as much as he is breaking.

"it was unethical of Porsche to bug Tawan's room! "
this is a take i saw away from tumblr, and im reeling
look, even though i can find the occasional bickering in the tumblr tag frustrating, ive never ever seen anyone drop a take as ridiculous as this
this was the issue?!?? this is where you drew the ethics line
in this episode we have
- tawan, who kinn tried to and believed he murdered! that was his romantic partner at the time! legit doesn't matter his motivation, that's a terrifying act of domestic violence.
- also tawan coming back, manipulating and purposefully degrading Porsche's confidence in both his relationship and his own importance. bad times!
- vegas. everyone's favourite pathetic little meowfioso. every interaction he has with Porsche is rancid vibes, and this one was so much. pwease Porsche don't let it hurt :(((
(fucking amazing antagonist i enjoy Vegas so much)
- vegas 2.0, interactions with Pete. the powerlessness of Pete, unable to escape tgis polite little trap.
- yes, Porsche wiretap moments. unethical is an insane claim to leverage in the murder mafia house, there are ethics to unethic, but this act was self sabotaging, giving into fear.
- Tawan crotch faceplant. Hey Kinn? You don't gotta. You could have moved, my guy. Its not 'unethical' but it was dumb as shit.
People rag on Kinn in this ep, to an unfair amount. He's emotionally damaging Porsche, and that's going to harm their relationship, but he's working within the framework of his family's affairs, and he is putting that above his personal relationship. Which he has to as a boss. Still should have clued in Porsche, but we forget that Porsche is a terrible liar and has no poker face.
It's a no good situation!
That being said, this particular move was truly a brain dead moment and everyone should dunk on him for it
- locking Porsche up without a guard, leaving him vulnerable but also isolated. Cannot have made a worse choice for both his safety and his mental health, his trust in Kinn.
-Tawan milk as a sex metaphor. I do not care for that shit at all, frankly
- Vegas redux. Who is letting my guy scamper around. Someone chase him out with a broom.
Anyway episode 9 kicked both the characters and the audiences asses, and I'm still reeling that anyone could level 'unethical' as a criticism of this show. There's no ethics! Everyone sucks, except Chay! None of these bitches trustworthy or wholesome! Its murder, toxic power imbalances all the way down, and that's the joy of the show.

do you guys also find this weird that tawan is appearing/disappearing almost alike a ghost and so meticulously timed like only porsche has seen him. porsche who's like really terrified of ghosts too.
if tawan and vegas are really working together, which i think they are bc last episode really confirmed kinn+porsche's relationship to vegas, tawan just showing up right after can't be a coincidence. then this is the second time they have information about porsche that only kinn was supposed to know.
i know we joked about this that whoever kidnapped kinn and porsche had found them in the forest, but kept their distance and spied on them until porsche walked away then they decided to attack kinn? it's seems v plausible atm.

So, I know I already speculated that maybe Kun could try to buy some goodwill with the main family by returning Pete, if he finds out he (still) exists, but I keep turning over scenarios in my head and wondering if we’re ever going to get any payoff for Pete being around to overhear Kun dressing down Vegas for “hurting” Porsche at the beginning of Ep 11, with the interest in Porsche, specifically, that comment betrays.
Which is a little bit tangential, although maybe somewhat related, to the actual point of this post, which is some speculation on a different track:
Further to the discussion with @placetneplacet about Vegas having to throw rocks at Pete to get him to go away at this point, r/t “escape,” what if that’s essentially what happens? What if Pete’s looking SO sad in the WDYS MV because Vegas drove him away? For Pete’s own protection? (And maybe, just a little bit, at least, Vegas’s?) Not just from Vegas, himself, in this case, but from Kun? All made maybe, possibly, slightly easier for Vegas by the fact that he’s clearly scared of what he’s just got himself into, in the final seconds that we get to see in the aftermath of their ... listen, I’m just going to start calling it their love scene, I don’t think that it’s actual love yet, although there’s plenty of connection there, and it’s clearly where we’re headed, and it’s just easier to go ahead and use the terminology :hands: ... in the aftermath of their love scene when he gets a look at Pete’s brilliant smile and his own smile slides off his face in his little italicized oh moment. (I’ll tell you what’s happening in those final seconds of that scene: We’re getting a look at the new terrain of the VP relationship and it’s this: Pete just had the most mind-blowing sex of his life and got his horizons completely altered. Vegas just fell in love. These are NOT the same things, and NOW we get to watch the delicious, delicious experience of Pete's realization, which I think is yet to fully happen. Protip, Pete: If it makes you sad, then it’s important. But first we get to watch the painful reality of Vegas in love with someone who’s not going to be mean about it, but who’s not really in love with him (yet). One night of fantastic sex, and they follow you home, right, Pete? Also, somewhere, Tawan is laughing at you, Vegas.)
ANYWAY, as I was saying, Vegas is clearly in love and terrified and still under his father’s thumb. We’ve seen how he reacted when he thought Pete was going to die from sepsis. We’ve seen how he reacted when his hedgehog died. We know he expects everything and everyone to leave him, because that’s been his experience in the past, except now there’s Pete, who not only didn’t leave, he came back, he chose Vegas, a total of at least three times in Ep 12, alone (his initial decision to stay rather than run, his decision to follow Vegas back into the house instead of run, his decision to kiss Vegas and signal that yes, he was willing to take what Vegas was offering). We’ve also seen that when Vegas is scared, he lashes out, including the scene with the book, when Pete was getting his clever fingers a little too far into Vegas’s head a little too fast for Vegas to be comfortable with. How easy would it be, driven by fear of Kun, fear for Pete’s safety, and maybe still a little bit of fear about his own feelings, for Vegas to be enough of an asshole to push Pete away? To make Pete’s decision to leave (to “escape”) just a little bit easier?
OW, gdi. I think I just hurt myself.
The one problem I can see with this is that it would require Pete NOT seeing right through Vegas on this one. Although if it could be bolstered by both Pete's need (for now) to return to the main family and the understanding that Kun is a real threat if he stays around ... Also possibly Vegas could try to fuck him stupid before making his play. Oh God. And then tell him that he's been manipulating him all along, just like TAWAN, just like he did when he left that belt the first time - manipulating him to the point where he actually HAS Stockholmed him, to get Pete to the point where Vegas doesn't even have to keep him in handcuffs, doesn't have to put him on a leash to make a pet out of him.
OW. I just HURT myself AGAIN.
I don’t know. But if Vegas could pull it off, then there’s a whole lot of delicious, painful, angsty pining on both their parts, before they come face to face again in the final showdown, and the chips start falling.

Long before he meets Porsche, the devotion of Kinn Theerapanyakul's most trusted and loyal bodyguard is clear for all to see, perhaps even to Kinn himself.

Set pre-canon, Big comes to Kinn's aid after the latter learns of the true extent of Tawan's deception. Being there for Kinn in a way he's never been permitted before, Big must face the heartbreaking truth of his feelings for the Mafia heir, even when the possibility that Kinn could never love him back, is a very real and terrifying reality.
Craving a nearly 6K word heartbreak story of unrequited love, utter devotion and the ultimate sacrifice for the man they love? I got you covered 😭
Because there isn’t enough Kinn/Big content around here. **Psst, I am a Kinn/Porsche kind of girl, they are my OTP - end of story. But listen, Big’s love for Kinn does things to me, okay?
Seriously where are all the Kinn/Big fics? Link them below in the comments, come through for me like I know this fandom always will! 💜
