holy shit, hey guys.
those of you who follow me elsewhere or know me well enough probably already know the basics. but the last several months have been a mess and tbh my mental health has been all over the place.
for the better part of 2021, my mom’s health had been declining a lot. she was hospitalized in december and since then, she’d only left the hospital for a week or two at a time ( a most ), until now. when she was home, she required a lot of help and care. good news is, she’s improved a lot over the last few weeks and is doing incredibly. things are looking up.
but man, there was just so much stress and fear that even escapism was rough af. i like to keep a lot of my mental health off of tumblr, but i struggle with anxiety and panic disorder on a good day, and boy, the last several months haven’t been kind to that. i’ve probably clocked more video games over the last 6 months than ever before, bc it’s all i had mental energy for.
i felt really overwhelmed for a while that it was hard to really write or even socialize.
BUT onto better things! my work routine is becoming... stable again. i’ve started slowly engaging in my hobbies, leaving the house and feeling like a person™ again. i am doing my best to have a really positive outlook on things again.
